And I am more happy that I have attended his live talks in Rishi Valley whenever he comes to Risi Valley in the month of every December. This thought is enough to pull my life till the end of my life. I really believe that his blessings are. Whatever he talked, coming true in the world.
I heard J. Krishnamurty message, reading his books; I was influenced for his system of thoughts. I was enchanted, just do the same dwelling his charming use of words...
Having a mind capable of OBSERVATION without THE OBSERVER is meditation!!! What an enlightened one. Lucky to have seen, listened and meditated.... The mind which is clear doesn't require any experience. It is already truth/ light/ already enlightened. There is nothing to enlighten at all when mind is at RIGHT PLACE/ STATE. Ending of one's struggle to experience or enlightenment is freedom and eventual enlightened meditation devoid of element of TIME. We are blessed to listen to his unique nectar of words.
Thank you all who make Krishnamurti’s work available to us. What a treasure trove of ageless wisdom. I practice yoga and in the yoga world there can be a lot of emphasis on gurus and the “right” way to do things including meditation. I appreciate how Krishnamurti strips it down and goes beyond methods and trappings of what is “proper”. He does not spoon feed answers. He offers questions and opportunities for one to figure things out for themself. I have so much respect for him.
Krishnamurti also believed that the path of the soul is different for each one of us, so if meditation serve us, let it serve us. We don’t have to follow him just because he said it. This is the reason he left Theosophy. However, we must ensure our critical thinking is continuously engaged.

I Was in the Mysore railway station and the announcement said' Kripaya DHYAN de' That moment I heard it, I was in a meditative state. Realised that I am fully aware of the things happening in and around me including my thoughts.
So true. I have struggled as he describes. But one friend pointed out to this Buddha who changed everything upside down. Sadly very few understand the value and greatness of this man. Such incarnations happen once in a millenium.
Yes, that's absolutely correct. I experienced enlightenment is a most dishonest thing to say 'cause once you enlightened (to say it loosely, actually it is called state of silence (பேசா அநுபுதி) before mukti), no such thing called 'I' exist. You're in the path to become one with the supreme consciousness, it is called Samadhi (becoming one). Meditation (dhyana) is just one part of Eight fold Yoga (Ashtanga yoga), to prepare the body and mind for ultimate Samadhi. As he says, when we leave all the entanglement and attachments (losing 'I' and 'mine'), mind is very clear becoming light to itself. No such thing called experience and experiencer. It become one with the ultimate consciousness! You cease to exist.
Good. Finally, sensible words about meditation. Running after experiences is so childish.... like running after toys! Ending of struggles is really ending of time... I think. Past is dead, future doesn't exist, only living in the present moment with awareness.

If you did not observe these things then you are living on a very superficial level indeed! Aren't you only intellectually criticizing, without trying to live even a small part of his teachings? Please Think, and be honest to yourself First. Wish you the best and Truth. 🌺
What I think he is saying is that meditation done in order to have an experience will never lead one to the truth but meditation done because there is nothing else to be done is what might lead one to the truth.
he's said in other videos that modern meditation is basically just systems that make you more mechanical... Sit in this posture 20 minutes 3 times a day, breath like this, focus on this image, say this mantra.... He says that true meditation is being completely attentive to everything going around you and inside you, every gesture, word, thought, sound, etc. Full awareness and attention with no judgment. Just seeing everything as it is. True meditation is not a practice, it is a way of being. Most meditation in modern history has been utilized as a profitable product to sell people.
Jidduji’s Autobiography is the first spiritual book I read by Pupul Jaykar amazing and stunning! I get to see Him speak makes me feel very blessed 😇 Thanks. almost 30+ years since I read the book.
After hearing his one line, i can understand that he just tried to denied all the previous way of meditation which was followed by people. But my explanation is that as we learn reading and writing to live in our present society, so first we learn gestures and posture after commond on them it became so natural like breathing and seeing and hearing.
Beyond Grateful for all the people who keep and share his precious talks and conversations, to the one of the greatest humanbeing I know that had really existed (as I was looking someone like K all my life ) to make it available for all of us! He is embodied what integrity is, how love and compassion are expressing and how free he is in such a deeper level that you can’t help to do the work of finally looking at yourself honestly, to think for yourself understanding we are creating and be part of everything that’s wrong in us and this world: meaning by doing so, we can do something about it, have to change ourselves and hopefully to be free to truly live ..
According to his teaching there is no good,no bad, there is no right,no wrong. Just do whatever you want, enjoy the life as a human bieng or as an animal.
Concluding lines of this discourse by the enlightened master are of utmost importance... as they sum up all what he said... THE END OF ALL CONFLICT AND STRUGGLE... IS SELF REALISATION OR ENLIGHTENMENT... 🙏
After spending hours and hours on meditation I've realised it on my own. It was like for 20 min im cool no thoughts nothing just silence but as soon as it ended 😂 my mind was always there for welcoming me and once again that loop started over . But ive realised it so i decided not to do any meditations but rather practise mindfulness and do every activity while observing and seeing my thoughts and seeing my body converting thst thought to an action .
His Book 'freedom from the known ' is a nice Book. Hearing jiddu and UG is like one is going down to the bottom of a volcano to EXPERIENCE the hotness/ reality/ truth. Where jiddu is like a serene stream of pure water flowing and Hearing UG is like holding a grenade in one's hand.
Meditation is when everything is simply whatever it is. As soon as something is made out of it, then consciousness is at it again. To deliberately seek enlightenment is consciousness at it again. To say that one is enlightened is to say that some must not be enlightened. Then there is division. Why do we need to come up w some qualifier? So, K is saying that there is realization, but it does not come by deliberate effort. As soon as we see it, then we are "seeing" it. That's all. When we have anything to say about it, then it's all over and back down into the pit. So, can we simply live and nothing more...and watch.😊
My respect to j k sir Our ultimate aim to understand the matter of life in profound way by inner thoughts.when inner thoughts end without any conflicts is enlightenment of soul.

Almost 2 years into meditation and I haven't seen much progress but I will still stay on the path. I have become a bit sober I can say from my aggressive attitude. The problem with meditation is that it makes it difficult to quantify and everything in life requires thought but meditation says don't have any thoughts. Its all struggle in the process. Sometimes I feel I should quit everything and meditate had it not been about paying the bills. Everything about this journey leaves one confused in the process. I am still determined to keep meditating. Sometimes one doesn't know if he even wants what he/she has embarked upon and if he/she will eventually get it or not.
Meditation doesn't mean to quit thoughts. It says to be aware of them detachedly. Soon you'll be able to regulate your emotions and this greatly improves your quality of life. Also you should practice it throughout the day not only when sitting in a posture.
@@joanvidal915 thanks for your answer. Yes I am about to try a variety. I infact completed the full headspace app series when I started. I would say I am a bit more mindful. I am reminded of yesterday night's incident when you referred to the Budapest incident. A drunk neighbour appeared at the door step here in Sydney and he was abusive when asked for the gate access. This was the first incident that I encountered as we live in a good locality. I was understanding the different emotions and observing myself throughout as my response. This is a bit of a change for me as I earlier had a quick response approach. I am dedicated to the process happily.
My 2cents, that's the whole point of JK's speech in this video. Unless one is able to cut their attachments, you'll always struggle to end the struggle. Your attachments are like what you've said, paying the bills.
If you're meditating for an ulterior motive, trying to get something out of it, then you have your eyes on the future and you're not meditating at all. What you're looking for will never come because you already have it. In his words you're still looking for an experience. The past and future are illusions, the now is all there is and all there'll ever be. The oberver is the observed. Its not about stop thinking, is about "watching" everything: your thoughts, your feelings, the different sensations through out your body, the sounds going around you BUT without identifying with them, without naming them because you realize that you are your thoughts and your feelings and the sensations and everything else going on.
The reason for taking a lotus posture for meditation is because it is balanced. Energy flow is maximized. It is definitely useful when concentrating one's attention, whether it be on the mind or sensory input. Ultimately, the "experience" is awareness.
Living "Meditation" ~ OBSERVE 👁️ BE empty ~ Breathe & BE 🤍 thru the day the Key is Mastery Neutrality: NO-thing, Void, No Meaning, No Point, No thoughts truly fully EMPTY = Deep PEACE 🕊️
As long as there is experiencer there is experience . This vicious circle is never ending . J . K. says appeals to me that you can not experience truth or enlightenment . You can not see light but you can be light yourself . Hence oneness is there when duality ends . The truth is simply yet tricky . You miss it , you lost it into jungle of struggles. Better understand rather than struggle .
(Learning) Meditation is slowly becoming v.v.costly . Whn I Experience nothing after Meditation ,then i think I have practice more. Now understoond the real Meaning .simply superb.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
K, an intellectual, questioning and debating everything, is not for a common man to follow! And meditation is becoming a generic term loosely used in modern world. Hindu traditions explain 8 different levels of it for one able to achieve a “mindless state”, an enlightened state of total bliss, joy and peace. With faith, devotion, determination, and practice, one is surely and always to be benefited by such discipline.
Interesting perspective by JK. When I observe JK, he always speaks from the mind. It is not coming from his heart, he is a great thinker and sharp intellect. Meditation is not about controlling the mind. It is about staying away from the mind so can listen and pay attention to the heart. The nature of the mind is to think so you cannot stop the nature of the mind. But you can disengage from it and regulate it. To regulate, you have to operate from the heart-mind field. The field of heart-mind is the field of consciousness. The problem arises when people look at the mind in silo. Meditation has to be effortless like how you ride a bicycle after you have learnt it. But in the initial days of learning a bicyle, you have to practice for a while to get the balance. Having said that, meditation is a discipline to have a perceptive mind which reveals the truth through inner guidance of the heart. It is through the inner compass, you build the noble qualities in you and transition ftom human to humane. Through the mind, however sharp intellect you posses, it is like driving a benz car on a bumpy and potholes road. Enlightenment is not the end game. I agree with him when there is no experiencer, there is no experience. That's the samadhi state of Ashtanga yoga. Losing your self and living dead, a kind of wakeful sleep state. A state of desireless and no 'ego'. How do you know it? You cannot with the mind. You are the experimenter, you are the object of the experiment, and you are the result of the experiment.
We are struggling and struggling to end all struggles. What a mockery is the practice of meditation!
Meditation is the ending of all struggles and experiences .. Just keep quiet and observe your mind , the flow of thoughts which eventually come to stop and you experience the state of no thoughts which is peace . All this knowledge is a game, it's lore, no more significant than the lore of Harry Potter.
Very well said
Listening to Sri. J. Krishamurthy's talk, one will forget all frustrations. He will make you understand what is life and what is the meaning of living of each Human beings. Once you attend his speech, you will never forget and you will always feel like attending more and more. He is ultimate. If you listen to his speech you will forget all your sorrows. Such a great man he was. I am proud that I have worked in his institution for 43 full years. And I am more happy that I have attended his live talks in Rishi Valley whenever he comes to Risi Valley in the month of every December. This thought is enough to pull my life till the end of my life. I really believe that his blessings are. Whatever he talked, coming true in the world.
Did anyone got what he was trying to convey?
❤❤
Thank you all who make Krishnamurti’s work available to us.
What a treasure trove of ageless wisdom. I practice yoga and in the yoga world there can be a lot of emphasis on gurus and the “right” way to do things including meditation. I appreciate how Krishnamurti strips it down and goes beyond methods and trappings of what is “proper”. He does not spoon feed answers. He offers questions and opportunities for one to figure things out for themself. I have so much respect for him.
He is too vast to understand by an ordinary person. He never seems to be preachy . Sounds a deep meaningful conversation
Wow! what an eye opener for those meditating (struggling) for years!! Thank you for uploading 💐
6.40- A mind that is very clear is free from all entanglements of attachment and so on.
Enlightenment itself is awareness
One of the most deepest and intellectual thing I've ever heard in my life☮️💫
And suddenly comes the feeling that I am not alone in my thoughts about a lot!
What a great capacity of explaining so difficult matters! 🙏
Krishnamurti also believed that the path of the soul is different for each one of us, so if meditation serve us, let it serve us. We don’t have to follow him just because he said it. This is the reason he left Theosophy. However, we must ensure our critical thinking is continuously engaged.
I agree with most of this, but "continuously"?
The Great unforgetable Máster ,to watch him again Here hooo...a real Gift..A lot of thanks you for posting it.His wise AND deep knowledges a real Man Ángel who lived a lot of Time ago during XX Century AND His wise teachings are today a real wealth to all human beings. Thanks again.Blessings from Chile.
I Was in the Mysore railway station and the announcement said' Kripaya DHYAN de'
That moment I heard it, I was in a meditative state.
Realised that I am fully aware of the things happening in and around me including my thoughts.
This is the first time i haven't got bored by ur lecture
Spot on to a deep meditator ,what he says on meditation Beginer would get confused !
Krishna has always questioned what we think we know. In order to to show us what we dont. A true teacher
Jiddu was on another level.
So true. I have struggled as he describes. But one friend pointed out to this Buddha who changed everything upside down. Sadly very few understand the value and greatness of this man. Such incarnations happen once in a millenium.
Meditation is being in the centre of your being and watching the world as it unfolds without attachment to outcomes.
Such talks......leads people no where....this man has experimented and experimented but could not reach to a point where from he could deliver something which could elevate people life and spirit.....sorry he seems to be a soul searching for truth by denying all truth available in front of him.......
Since he reasons out well it seems intellectually pleasing but what is ultimate massage.......!! Nil
@@bhupendrabudhori6284 Sir, did you even try to live his teachings in practical life? Did you watch your every thought and feeling? Are you Honestly aware of your motives behind your actions? Do you know how your one lie is destructive for the whole of life, how your one good act reaches out to everyone? If you did not observe these things then you are living on a very superficial level indeed! My words are not in the way of criticism, but use your heart along with your brain to see the depth of his teachings. Aren't you only intellectually criticizing, without trying to live even a small part of his teachings? Please Think, and be honest to yourself First. Wish you the best and Truth. 🌺
@@bhupendrabudhori6284 The ultimate teacher is only a mirror for you to see yourself. The ultimate teacher offers nothing. And no thing is everything.
@@danielnicholson25 Right brother 🙏
Methods leads to illusions to.
I agree that makes total since to me aswell
Meditation is wen u forget the time exists. U will never know track of time. You will simply be at ultimate relaxation 24hrs.
Jidduji’s Autobiography is the first spiritual book I read by Pupul Jaykar amazing and stunning! I get to see Him speak makes me feel very blessed 😇 Thanks. almost 30+ years since I read the book.
One of the best talks of J. Krishnamurthy. Very intellectual and logical 💯
This one is a gem
This supports his main statement about Freedom! ❤
to experience there must be an experiencer but in meditation there is no experiencer it means there is no me or ego and the truth is already there.
Wow
After hearing his one line, i can understand that he just tried to denied all the previous way of meditation which was followed by people. But my explanation is that as we learn reading and writing to live in our present society, so first we learn gestures and posture after commond on them it became so natural like breathing and seeing and hearing.
I will love this man forever
Me too 😁❤️
Seems like the "entanglement " He was talking about
@@pavithrans1913 lol
Masterful...you feel he has insight, clear insight. Rare individual
Great sage Vishwamitra meditated for a long time and the moment he saw Menaka, meditation burnt out itself.
His questions are answers to the questions 🙏😊
Absolutely ....... Yes 🙂
His smile says everything he has found the ultimate and he found x of the equation he is blissed from inside and outside 🤗🤗
What an enviable ability of articulation! Razor sharp clarity!
Simple and elegant, truth is always that.
So clear, yet the mind refuses to let go. It's hard to extinguish that desire to end the struggle
Meditation is just being without judgement or analyzing. It is returning to our natural state.
I am critical of K ….but I can not deny his genius.
According to his teaching there is no good,no bad, there is no right,no wrong. Just do whatever you want, enjoy the life as a human bieng or as an animal.
This is so cold and raw. I love it
this man blows my mind
Concluding lines of this discourse by the enlightened master are of utmost importance... as they sum up all what he said...
THE END OF ALL CONFLICT AND STRUGGLE... IS SELF REALISATION OR ENLIGHTENMENT...
🙏
After spending hours and hours on meditation I've realised it on my own. It was like for 20 min im cool no thoughts nothing just silence but as soon as it ended 😂 my mind was always there for welcoming me and once again that loop started over . But ive realised it so i decided not to do any meditations but rather practise mindfulness and do every activity while observing and seeing my thoughts and seeing my body converting thst thought to an action .
so beautiful! truly awakened guru! 🙏
❤️Greatest teacher ever,when you listen to j Krisnamurti &David bohm,it’s quite magical ❤️
Krishnamurti is really genius
Great Jiddu Krishnamurthy
Great thinker of all time
My respect to j k sir
Our ultimate aim to understand the matter of life in profound way by inner thoughts.when inner thoughts end without any conflicts is enlightenment of soul.
"Do something in the name of Meditation for five, ten ,twenty minutes and do all mischief for the rest of the day" His wit and satire is really subtle and enjoyable and can not be ignored as it is the fact.
We can't even attempt to appreciate him as a "great soul".He then will put the question " who is that ? What is soul?"
That is the Beauty of JK and his uniqueness.🌹🌹🙏🏼🙏🏼
The fact that you desire to keep on meditating, that by itself means you are progressing. Don't give up.
Finally this is what enlightenment is
U R A Great Speaker 😄🙏🙏🙏
Love is his language.
Very clear message here.
The reason for taking a lotus posture for meditation is because it is balanced. Energy flow is maximized. It is definitely useful when concentrating one's attention, whether it be on the mind or sensory input. Ultimately, the "experience" is awareness.
Love you 💕 sir
Now I can live without conflict because there is not a end line which I have to cross
A profoundly extraordinary man.
Living "Meditation" ~ OBSERVE 👁️ BE empty
~ Breathe & BE 🤍 thru the day
the Key is Mastery Neutrality:
NO-thing, Void, No Meaning, No Point, No thoughts truly fully EMPTY = Deep PEACE 🕊️
Such a profound intellectual talk by the master..
How can u understand it ..the entire act of understanding brings duality
(Learning) Meditation is slowly becoming v.v.costly .
Whn I Experience nothing after Meditation ,then i think
I have practice more.
Now understoond the real
Meaning .simply superb.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Sir*

K, an intellectual, questioning and debating everything, is not for a common man to follow! And meditation is becoming a generic term loosely used in modern world. Hindu traditions explain 8 different levels of it for one able to achieve a “mindless state”, an enlightened state of total bliss, joy and peace. With faith, devotion, determination, and practice, one is surely and always to be benefited by such discipline.
He said that: „Truth is the Land without way in“ and „there is no teacher but only teaching“
Wow! Now the experience is no more! ❤️🙏🏼🌈
The way he says "completely centered" at 2:28 is awesome
Lovely speech by sir
Such good teaching…
