Love your locs cuz. You keep striving for greatness. Loving your loc journey ❤️❤️❤️❤️
thank you so much cuzzo! I hope you are loving yours as well, best decision I could have ever made!
you and your locs are STUNNING!!! love the reminders to trust the process. i love when loc veterans talk about how much fun they had in the beginning years, i'm trying to enjoy this new look on me. it's such a gift tbh!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m not sure when I’ll become a newbie again, but I know it’s coming. How long have you been loc’d?
I think your locs are beautiful and you've cared for them so well through the years. I am on day 12 of my loc journey and I will look for tips and advice from other loc beauties but I will also listen to my hair and let it do as it wishes and hopefully they will be healthy and beautiful as well. Thank you for sharing💗
Thanks so much for watching! I always get excited when I see a loc newbie-I feel locs teaches us to be patient and appreciate being unique. Congrats on starting your journey, be sure to take pictures so you can see the progress!
Queen keep sharing your journey for it’s helping someone somewhere. I remember the day you cut almost all of your hair off. I’m so proud of you and love your authenticity. Be Bless🥰
Aww! And I remember when you shaved all your hair off to support you best friend💜 thx so much!
Had to watch this video twice! Thanks for sharing, I have fine hair as well and currently a little over three years into my sisterlocks journey so I am very encouraged and happy to see someone with similar hair type go the distance even if it’s a different lock type.
You kept your hair tidy through every stage and I commend you for that, I’m all for the natural nappy look but keeping it together goes a long away, and 17 years! You didn’t even change a bit, guess black don’t crack is no joke. 😀
All the best and keep the videos coming!
Awww thanks so much for the kind words. Such a pleasant surprise to read on a day where I couldn’t figure out a hairstyle, so I did nothing to it😂😂😂. Congrats on 3 years being loc’D and thanks so much for watching 💜
Your locs are gorgeous. I’m only 5 months into my journey and it has definitely had its ups and downs along the way. 😊
I’m guilty of wearing wigs and seeing myself with long fuller hair which is the exact opposite of my own. I’ve also enjoyed wearing loc extensions but did not want to take the easy route this time around.
This journey is teaching me patience and the meaning of enjoying the process. I know this time next year will soon fly by and my locs will soon flourish. Until then I will enjoy watching your journey and growth and so many others because it is definitely inspirational when doing so.
Thanks for sharing and you are simply beautiful ❤
Sooooo congratulations on reaching 5 months!!!! I remember I could not keep my hands out of my hair the first 6 months. If wigs were like they are now- I’m sure I would have rocked a wig at some point. Enjoy all these stages as I definitely miss them. This journey has taught me patience and a different level of confidence 💜 keep me updated on your journey as each stage provides a unique reward 🌱 thank you so much for watching 🫶🏾
I appreciated this so much! You and your locs are beautiful. You can tell from the photos how much you came into yourself with the loc progression. That’s what I love about them. I’ve wanted locs for awhile now, finally gonna start my loc journey in a few weeks!
Thank you, I definitely appreciate your response! It keeps me motivated to record my journey- congratulations on starting yours. Keep me posted💜
One thing is for sure, you are gorgeous! I love your hair too! Thank you for sharing.

Gorgeous locs!!! I remember that hair forum and the K.I.S.S. one too.
I really like the sleek density of your locs. They remind me of my mums locs which are also beautiful. You rocked so many styles and I love that you could wear a normal sized hat too 🖤

Hello! I absolutely love your LOCS… They are beautiful! I started my loc journey 52 days ago on an inch of hair and I’m loving this journey. Can you recommend a shampoo that is best for LOCS or have you thought about doing a video on your hair wash routine? I was searching your videos hoping to find out.. Blessings to you dear!!!
Omg thanks so much! Right now I’m using Jamaican black castor oil shampoo by As I Am. I will be doing a wash day this month before I retwist. Thanks so much for watching and here’s to sending good vibes on your journey 💜💜💜💜

You are gorgeous. I’m in month 4. I will be 4 months on the 22nd on October
Thank you so much! Congratulations on starting your journey, 6 months is another major milestone 💜
How did you upkeep the health of your locs throughout the years of dying?
Once I got the color to take all over, I focused mainly on coloring the roots for touchups. Let me also say I did not color my hair the minute my roots grew in. So every year with that color I probably dyed it 2-3 times a year.
I want to start my locs and I would like them to look same as yours in the future, may I know how many you have now please ❤
Okay, that’s like one of the ultimate compliments💜 I have around 100 now. But I probably started with ~120. Thanks so much for watching.
And don’t edit my voice out 🤣😭

How many locs do you have?
I think 84, how many for you?
I just started my locs two months ago and I'm waiting for them to loc .... how long it took for your hair to loc?
I think around 4 months it started to bud. Did you start with coils or two strand twists?
Lol you didn't edit his voice out. Hiiiii 👐🏿
