  • Today's PNWSTE video is a review of the METAL HOBi trommel! Additionally, we'll use some of the processed material made with this machine to do some RC road construction. This video was filmed at the Die Hard Family RC Park in Snohomish Washington. SPECIAL THANKS to Die Hard Family RC Park for hosting this event!
    Die Hard Family RC Park is an all around RC park. Most every aspect of the RC hobby is represented at the park. There are 2 race tracks, a dirt track, and a carpet race track, as well as scale crawling area, RC street drag races, drone racing, as well as an area for RC trucking & construction fun! For more information about the park, check out their Facebook page, or you can find the park's official website with a simple Google search.

    My son and I were out at DieHard the day this was tested. We are currently not involved in any of the scale construction world. I would have to say that both of us were fascinated with this equipment and how well it performed and how realistic it is. We are definitely FANS

      I'm sure you WON'T be disappointed with this machine, when you get it! You may find the need, as Kyle did, to acquire some slightly longer screws to assemble it with. The ones it comes with are a little bit on the short side!

    Man bro nice PC of equipment, does the truck fit inside underneath for auto loading. Although that might the the fun out of using the other trucks. 😎 Anyway very cool

    • @pnwRC.
      @pnwRC.  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank-you sir! Potentially a truck could drive underneath, but it wouldn't get a fully loaded, as there is a retaining wall behind the machine. This would prevent the truck from backing in far enough in to get the front loaded properly. A truck could, however be parked at the end of the trommel where the oversize material exits. That is a GREAT idea, & I just may try it at our club's next gathering!

      Cool I know when I did O Scale train I had a setup where the train would drive under the trommels and get loaded mostly used with coal operations. 😎👍 Anyway fun to watch you guys working

      @@mypassionrc-studioxd40lous66 I forget the name of the channel, there's an HO scale model train channel I follow that has a working replica of this! If I didn't have over 600 channels I'm subscribed to, I might could find the channel I speak of.

      Gotta do like me buddy I'm only subscribed to around 30- 40 channel's I follow each one I watch all there videos. I use to have a big channel and deleted it. It got to be so much work and the clutter was unbelievable. I had subscribed to at least a couple thousand channels.
      Oh the work. I didn't have time for my Hobby, now I have fun do my trucks and if people watch great if not that's ok. At least I'm running my channel how I want not my channel and the followers are not running me. Although I'm retired and not trying to make money at this. Plus you never know what triggers people to watch. I seen a guy dance and fart and the guy gets millions of views. Go figure.😎👍 sorry for rambling. Plus you know like I do most people only watch 15-20 seconds before there gone. They call it " click thru's "
      For me I do this for fun and hopefully when I'm gone my grandkids and great grandkids can see there grandpa's passion for RC

      MyPassionRC- Studio XD40 Lou's RC Garage so this tromel is all put together by a bunch of small 2mm screws and nuts so it would be possible by removing 8screws to have a drive thru. You will need to modify the bay though as there is no hooper/Shute to get it to the center.

    Metal Hobi product are generally better quality than their Asian competitors, The products are developed in Germany and produced in Turkey. Same goes for their forklift and excavator versions too. Unfortunately they cost more but you get why you pay for.

    when will you ever kill that beep beep sound

    • @pnwRC.
      @pnwRC.  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, our equipment DOESN'T have LI-PO low voltage cut off protection. That beep is the low voltage alarm for somebody's Li-PO battery going off. Once they make it to a safe place, it is dealt with.
