c4's are higher heat tolerance ,. as for the seals ,their should be two with the same wrighting they are the crank ,the other one is for the output shaft and i got another small one for the gear shaft...
I understand what you have said, about the seals. The point I failed to mention is that the Seals that people should have used is Viton seals not nitrile or Buna-N. Anything within the oil region or petrol areas, should only use Viton or above. That was my mistake for not mentioning it. As for the bearings, C3 is personally recommended over C4 whereby viberation and having bearings to loose is probably the worst comb you can have. This would cause other parts of the engine to have excessive movement which would cause further premature failure. All 2 strokes will always lubricate themselves enough to last. The point I was making is that the bike I am fixing did not have the correct oil in it or enough of it. This will be covered in the next video. The understanding of C4 will allow the bearing to reach higher tempretures and will not suffer seizure, but the trade off is viberation and very loose bearings. This is why C3 are used more often. However most seizure are not from bearings but from the pistons and barrel from badly balanced oil to fuel ratio for the CC size engine or running too tight tolorence. Very good points that you have covered, shame I did not explain myself better in the videos.
