Pro tip: if you've never seen bots in league play the lowest difficulty bots available. If you're lucky you'll get one other real person on your team. the other 3 accounts? Account leveling-bots. EVERY game. I guarantee it.
I tought riot was adding low difficulty bots so you can play faster...

Create a new account, go play ARAM. You will get More bots than humans in EVERY game. This is the state of ARAM right now.
@@dracotoy literally EVERY GAME. I play Intro Bot Games to check my ping and to do some Battlepass quests which i dont get to do in regular games (like farming minions or jungle monsters since I'm a support main)
I get 4 ADC bots, who perma push midlane, don't buy items and don't react to enemy bots.
It has gotten worse, since the new League Bots got released, as they become an actual problem when they get fed and you have no team mates.
I always have to play a carry champ now and still it feels difficult, since all lanes are pushed in and the enemy has 3 15/0/0 champs, who play as good as a bronze player

I remeber one morning back in the day, I was still sleepy, but decided to get my first win of the day mission. By mistake I choose the hardest co=op vs AI bots (instead of the medium one) and I got 4 bots account on my team, I don't remember which champ I picked, but even fed I didn't manage to win 1v9... 😂😂😂
just start a coop vs IA, i'm pretty sure that if you go in easy you'll be with bots
Not related to bots but here's another interesting rabbit-hole:
Go to the top ranked flex players, and try to find players with 0 losses. It starts showing around Grandmaster.
99% of their games last 5 minutes.
My personal theory is that this is done through the lobby-crasher exploit we saw a few months back - if they dont get their friends on the other team, they crash the lobby and go back to queue! Rinse and repeat untill you're matched with your buddies, one of the teams throw the game, GG!

a few days back on one of my accounts playing aram i came across an account that has been queing up with multiple accounts going 0-30 when playing with these other accounts.
and as you said all games last around 5mins.
none of the games where ranked just aram

Yeah, and TF2s anti-cheat is stinkin garbage, which is why most people play on third party servers.
Bots are part of TF2 at this point. its like a mixture of PvE and PvP thats really unique and fun.
@@jacques8823 not when those bots have built in chat and vc spam aswell as just straight up aimbot. If riot somehow manages to deal with their botting problem, I hope they send some of their lot our way for a bit to help with ours

@@jacques8823 idk what game youve been playing but it sure isnt tf2, around 1/6 casual queue games are slightly playable, every other time its just a lobby full or slowly filling with bots because the kick timer is on a 2 minute cooldown and theres over thousands of bots being hosted at a time and to top it off the bots have aimbot unlike league where the bots just stay at spawn or the bare minimum to not get kicked
I'm glad you said this about smurfing in the end, I felt kinda alone thinking smurfing wasn't cool and not healthy for the game, like, many streamers and youtubers do it casually without even questionning themselves anymore about it.. I hope it goes away at some point.
smurfing is a massive net negative for the game and community, but there is a huge market to do so. So yeah a lot of League content creators need called out, not only them but the wanna be successful ones as well.
What is the difference between smurf account and making a new account to play with mates after dodging 3 incredibly toxic teams? (As example)

Before twisted treeline was removed, every casual game was filled with bots, you could always tell because they wouldn't buy or move until minions spawned, they just used that mode to farm out games quicker for XP to get them to level 30 to sell off as a fresh account.
Dominion got infested with bots during its last days. 😔

@@shanematthews1985 Tbh, as long as you can get reasonable Q times, there is no reason to remove a game mode, other than it's not profitable for the company. I mean, look at Smite. 4 main game modes (5v5, Aram, Arena and 3v3) and a bunch of smaller ones (4v4, 1v1 and rotating "for fun") with a smaller player base and you still get to a game within a minute. The longest I have waited this season was 4 mins in the middle of the night.
Tl;dr: Rito could easily still keep 3v3 AND Arena permanent with how big the player base is, but it costs, so they probably won't.
@@shanematthews1985 Because 1% of league's active community is still a lot of people (1.17M people), 3v3 was nice way of playing, the map was fun, the altars interesting, the meta not so tight, and the main problem with it was Rito's use as bot dumpster that made people run away...

I can't find anyone talking about scripters especially in the League subreddit (mods remove your post when you call out scripters), but PH server is especially infested with scripters. You find them everywhere, even in ARAM & URF. They are so shameless that they cheat in for-fun gamemodes.
I'd only seen 2-3 scripters in all my time playing league except this season and last, and I've lost count at this point.
Asian server is always a cesspool of cheater loser.
I got to agree ngl the Philippines server has the biggest amount of cheaters the moment we got into riot servers and their egos are wayyy too massive for no reason.
I’ve seen legitimate scripting about 10 times +-5 in total across 10 years of playing league. Admittedly I’ve been quite lucky in my games, and usually play with friends so that eliminates usually half the game from the potential scripters when I’m full pre-made. Fighting them though… is a pain… you literally have to throw so many things at once that the script doesn’t know what to prioritise and walks into one of them, hopefully a cc ability.

I had a duo supp and jg that were literally bots, spamming abilities, standing still on camps with an active ability turned on attacking nothing, that shit was my demotion game, never tilted so hard

@@tudorminciunescu9614 But on the other hand, them having played for more than a week isn't any guarantee of a basic level of competence. Some people in Iron have played the game a LOOONG time: if you don't have learning ability and self-awareness, playing the game for longer just means you reinforce your mistakes.
It doesn't help that the League tutorial is so bare-bones it hurts. In modern League I would say that stuff like wave management really should be considered entry-level knowledge.

@@alexandralamond347 Although you're both kind of right, noone really cares about yuumi, but the stats are actually from iron ranked games. Yuumi currently has 4.21KDA in iron ranked this season due to how easy it is to get assists (source: metasrc, couldn't find another site with KDA showing) this is not taking any of the botgames in account.
I help high school students write their college application essays. I had to explain to one of my students who wanted to go to business school why he should not write about how he used to work for one of the companies that sold League accounts. Best not to advertise that you break terms of service.
Depends what he’s applying for. Most companies aren’t going to give a shit about a video game. Similarly the FBI will hire people who hack high profile accounts because they want that knowledge

a team of cheater managed to beat Mr Toast in an official Valorant tournament, so yea. If you can sneak up an aim assist in valo you can surely sneak up a bot "that is harder to detect" (how is hard to detect a 0 / 12 into multiple low lvl vs ai games?)

Vanguard and other Kernel Level Anti-Cheat is hillariously easy to bypass.
Unity Research made a banger video about making their own private aimbot for Valorant with a Raspberry Pi and a microcontroller.
is it more expensive? Sure. But in return its also completely undetectable, just like DMA.
It probably already happened and the only thing that Vanguard does is screw Custom skins and Linux users and give Rito the ability to block your entire PC from ever booting one of their games again. Can't see where this goes poorly for anyone.
I think you are really missing the point about the bot problems if you think they are just all around iron. When you start a new account it's very likely that you are placed around silver at least. In general people are being placed in gold or even plat, there was a lot of complaining about this from both sides, people having new players that far up and new players feeling bad about losing so many games at once because of wrong ranking. As a silver player I saw more and more bots in the game, from not experiencing it at all as far as I know just some years ago. This Yummi sitting on adc and basically not doing anything at all, that I saw. And in same game they had some top laner running it down. So two bots in one game. This problem has for sure increased, I noticed it well because I used to play A LOT. And actually this is ONE of the main reasons that I got tired of and actually stopped playing League. Whenever I am feeling tempted to play League thinking about the good sides, I am reminded that I will likely not have those fun games anymore there because of bots and because of the humans as well.
I had 4 Bots in different games last month, deranking from Emerald down (Gold 3 in my games atm)! All last 20 games in the history were lost on the profile and it was also behaving like a bot. Random Ulti on Camps, random smites on minions. No Chat, Objectives, Teamfights, nothing. It was just roaming the whole game.

The reality is however, that you most likely already played other games that used Kernel-level anti-cheat software - It's surprising how many games are actually supported by that.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like to agree with Pirate as well, but I also know that "experts" on this topic have a big tendency to always view situations from the worst possible outcome. But I will quit League as well. Feels very weird with Tencent in the background.
if you play any competitive online game you probably already have a diff kind of the same system in your pc so you are already late..

@@EtherealRuneissue is that kernel (like fe. EAC) are not running constantly; I would call them sem-kernel since they are not constant and you actually have way to manage it. Those are crap too and I try to avoid them because, well, R0 access is no-no for me (tho I understand why it is not that bad case for other). But Vanguard is another thing alltogether. It run constantly. You cannot log its activity (or at least I did not find any way to do so). It is basically 'trust me bro' system that goes from boot. And that is nah, especially since my trust in riot is... well, let's say - I like spaghetti but maybe not in code ;)
TBF - for now I did not hear anything about anoyone breaking vanduard (while EAC probably had such situations at least few times) but I still do not trust rito and I refuse to give godmode to my machines to them.
He also just has a tiny bit of an ego about his own game being impossible to pirate. You can easily pirate his game if you spoof the achievements. There are games that turn off achievements if you have mods. Well you can spoof them by having a mod re-enable them. It applies to his game too.
But yes I like Thor and find his is a reasonable dude but 60 second shorts are not a fully good enough justification to feel like he's the most intelligible on a subject despite his highly qualified background.
If Rito wanted bots and smurfs gone, they would just need to ask for a phone number like Dota does
I've definitely seen bots in the game - a whole team of them in fact. Matched in Quickplay against a team, all with the same icon, all with similar two syllable names, played BADLY and surrendered unanimously at 10:30. My friend who was with me said they had a similar experience the day before.
the bots that level to 30 queue up a lot of aram games. i was leveling a side account and had an aram with 8 bots. 8. the only real person was an asol on the other team who would just e and gather all the bots together and delete them. was very silly.
Had a bot in my quick play game. Went 0/18, after the game I checked its account and its Level 150. It’s obviously been active for a long time.
riot doesn’t ban bots, but if you ask your top lane not to int you’re banned instantly lol

Not gonna lie, I have bought accounts in the past, I've played different roles on a different server that some of my friends play on because they weren't 10$ like Nec mentioned, they cost me 1.50$ each. I don't think you should, and it'll definitely get more expensive as Vanguard will be able to detect bots but it's ridiculous that Riot let the botting problem go on for so long that 4 accounts with over 100h of playtime each can be bought for the same price as a venti Starbucks coffee. And yeah, like the reviews I got to choose the skin and what not and was instantly able to play (they got banned after a few weeks, but it was that cheap.)
I definitely hope the botting market gets nuked, and I'll never see a lvl 30-35 account with botgames in it's match history, in plat/emerald/diamond+ games ever again.
eune is not forcing vanguard , union protects us from that and other cyber regulations prevent riot from doing that

Riot's terms and services never stated that smurfing was not allowed or anything like that so it's also not something they want reports on. And if people still report smurfs, it will just clog up the already heavily overburned review system they have, meaning more accounts that actually violate the terms of service will slip through.
With current matchmaking systems, smurfs typically get placed into their tru elo relatively fast.
Yes they will still ruin games but by the time they would get banned they are already playing in fair matches.
The reason at the time that I sent that, was the ratio that I was placed against a smurf, it was was ridiculous to say the least, overall was something about 1/3 matches had a lvl 1 account headshoting everyone in every peek. It felt like these guys simply created an account every 3 matches, everytime lvl 1 or 2 accounts.
Smurfing isn't bannable -- why would they want reports on something that isn't against the game's rules?
In my last 15 games I've had bots on the enemy team 3 times in low diamond, getting lucky I guess, felt bad for the enemies though, they are just constantly sitting under turret, and moving in 8 pattern. Funny enough they are still not banned and have like an 80 game loss streak, while still not being banned.
Like a year or two ago I was watching a couple unranked low level friends duo in ranked they did 3 or 4 matches and all of them had a bot Yuumi support in their team except in the last match where I told them to ban Yuumi and it went Soraka and stuck to the adc like a RuneScape character that pressed to follow another player.
I used to work nightshifts and to end the day I often hopped into arams at 2-3 am.
Human players were a rarity with 3-4 per lobby
I my opinion there are a lot of shenanigans in iron league. I spent a lot of time in iron before I just quit out frustration.
The Smurfs, the bots and the vastly different quality of teammates makes learning and climbing out of iron very difficult.
Also the players in this elo are some of the saltiest human beings on the planet. Now I am a grown ass man who will admit I’m not that great at the game.
But these guys in Iron 2, they think they are fucking pros and that are just being held back because they get bad teammates. Which is funny because if they were actually that good they could 1 v 9 all their games in Iron.
I believe this is the point at which all armchair Internet experts (including myself) will dogpile on with 'well obvsly it's the Dunning-Kruger effect lmao', and while that's probably true I'd say it's also a matter of ego. It takes a lot of courage to face yourself and say 'actually, I'm NOT as good as I thought I was', but you can't become better at the game until you do.
i remember seeing a lot of bots in league 1-2 years ago with the afk soraka yuumi and taric
I hadn’t seen a bot in game for at least a few years and then the other day I got TWO on my team and ONE on the enemy team. In the SAME game! I have no idea what happened that day.
I've seen bots a few times when I was playing. A long time ago, some of the events had rewards for playing 30 games,When I was already a little fed up, and wanted to complete the mission quickly, I played matches against bots, I took champions that took objectives quickly, to finish the match quickly. When I did this, several times there were players who were bots on my team, who just walked from the base to the middle lane, hit some minions, went back to the tower, advanced a little, and died to the enemy bot. They never got past the first tower, and they repeated this script until the game ended.
Kernel level anti cheats dont even work, games with ones like easy anti-cheat and the like don't even have less cheaters. They're also extremely vulnerable, getting backdoored and hacked. It's too much power for a company to hold and it doesn't even show results

Hello! I have played league for 4 years now, and was hardtack silver for the first 3(I am emerald now.) I use to see Yuumi, Soraka, and Annie bots pretty common, especially late at night/early morning. The weirdest things about them is how they ended up on my team 99% of the time, and never the enemy's team. Getting a game with these bots got so common, I could tell there was a bot in my game in CHAMP SELECT.
It would start by support typically hover the 3 champs mentioned before, and then in the ban phase the bot would ban a teammate's champ if they have it hovered. If you ban the bot's champ it would move the the next champ, usually 1st Yuumi, 2nd Soraka, and 3rd Annie. I never tried banning all 3, but id assume it would just pick a random character or another random support champ.
During the game if the bot is yuumi, the bot would hop on ADC doing nothing but casting a Q at the minimum time before it got registered for AFK. If the bot isn't playing Yuumi, then the bot will just follow the ADC around and recall when the ADC recalls. Not really casting abilities, or casting very little, constantly hitting waves whenever. If the ADC dies, or if the ADC gets far from the bot, the bot will then follow an ally who is closest and act the same way. I have never seen a bot get lvl 3 support item, and rarely get lvl 2 support item.
It felt like there was nothing you could do, and your odds of winning are higher if you just didn't have a support in the first place in moments like these.
For the record, I have seen 3 confirmed scripters in my games. Their champs were Renekton, Jax, and Kayn.
i hate this so much. it gives yuumi mains a bad name. (like, i hate the bots not you talking about them!!)
I wonder if a way to juggle the thing with bots could be to restrict the server change for a year from the account's creation -(maybe with some lifting if the account reaches Silver rank in SoloQ to mean that the user is actually playing and not lose-botting).- Edit: WHOOPS
That way, it would lock a bunch of accounts from the users and gather way more accounts, exposing more patterns for them to discover which accounts are botting.
I saw a lot of bots (10 or more) last season before Riot "did something" about it, saw a few bots after that but I don't think I've seen any this season. Was Bronze and Iron a bit last season, this season started Bronze and climbed to Silver.

I remember a couple years ago I had plenty of aram games with bots. Like sometimes I had a full team of bots or faced a single player or two while the other players were bots. Doesn’t happen anymore
I’m in high Iron and an ADC main and in a ranked game I ran into a teemo bot account. No leash, and would just follow me, auto attack minions that got close to him and backed when he got below half health, bought scanner at the beginning of the match and used it in lane.
Hello, just so you know, the accounts are not only uploaded by bots, but there are also people who pay to raise the account to level 30 by hand and those accounts uploaded by hand are worth more, for the simple fact that they have less chance of being banned, I know this for the simple fact that I do it and the pay is good overall.
Do you still spam aram/bot games or is there a different way to do it now?

These bots got pretty advanced. The ones I saw were programmed to respond to accusations from teammates of being bots, with lines in all chat like “my team is calling me a bot I’m just new :(“
Vanguard isn't in the live client yet necrit, it only hit PBE this patch cycle
The only time I have ever thought of smurfing is when I have a buddy of mine who is new to the game and is getting DEMOLISHED in my lobbies and soon enough they aren’t having any fun at all.
If Vanguard was more transparent about what they do and let us see instead of “Just trust me bro”, people wouldn’t have as big an issue. But Tencent recently got exposed to collecting personal data. The very thing they promised Vanguard wasn’t doing.
If they let us see the innards of Vanguard, they also let the FPS cheatmakers see those innards, and if those cheatmakers get their hands on that info, it is more likley than not that they manage to make Valorant cheats that Vanguard can't detect within a couple of months, making Vanguard useless.
This does suck for transparency, but since stealing data requires getting it off your computer and doing THAT produces network traffic - and network traffic is monitored by your antivirus program, which is specifically looking for specifically and exactly people trying to sneak stolen data out hidden in network traffic generated by real, legitimate programs (since that's how computer viruses steal personal info, they compromise a pre-existing program that already uses the internet and piggyback the stolen data onto that program's network traffic), we do at least have fairly high certainty that Vanguard isn't stealing data (and your local antivirus isn't the only thing monitoring network data, your router, general internet infrastructure and (if they're responsible) your ISP are all also monitoring all network traffic passing through them for all forms of suspicious activity, including data theft).
As someone who enjoyed playing bots to introduce new friends to league, there was never a single game i played in easy bot since 2018 that had no bots in
a few yrs ago they were so prevalent on aram , i remember one time the enemy team had 4 bots an mine 2 that was a sight .....
I think most people stopped complaining because we know once it’s on PBE it’s coming to live no matter what. Bugs and exploits included riot doesn’t care. Unless it crashes the game it hits live.
I've had a few ranked games destroyed by bots, but after getting out of silver I don't see any bots now
I never knew this was a problem until last week because a teammate of mine mentioned it. There's at least one bot / smurf account (or whatever you want to call them) a match. I play ARAM if that matters, but regardless, this is so frustrating.
I have not seen bots in league in some time. However... I remember a time, and certainly some of you can recall this period... where you would log into in ARAM game, and the Entire team was full of nothing but bots. Everybody on the enemy team, and everybody on your team were all bots. You were the only real player. They would all stand in one spot, follow the exact same actions and commands, and the game would be a total mess, or stalemate even, in a twist of irony.
As a bronze player, I can confirm that you DO get bots every few games. But wait, there's more. Sometimes the bot can communicate too so sometimes people won't bat an eye. The bot would play well depending on which player it decides to follow. If a player it follows is somewhat decent or is above the rest, the bot would somewhat adapt to their playstyle. A lot of times though, bots int early on or just flat out AFK/dc. Not fun.
I ran across bots when leveled up a second account. They're fairly common in the coop modes
as somone who has played with their fair share of yuumi bots, your team tends to spend most of their time avoiding it as much as possible, and trying to soft int if it catches them to get it killed as much as possible
It's risky tho, especially if this happens in ranked
as an actual iron player like myself, i have noticed that there was less bots. i had no clue that riot vanguard was added to league, but this change makes me happy if the bots are being cut down
Vanguard still going to be a problem to most people because we just don't know what the hell is going to do while it is activated
The main reason people buy smurf accounts is to play ranked with their friends. Oh one friend is diamond and the other gold. Nope, you cant play ranked together -> buys lvl 30. No idea how Vanguard is gonna affect this ( if it even prevents lvl-up bots ). I know that if League was runned by Blizzard, they would start selling lvl 30s by themselves lol. So at least they dont take the obvious-all-money-approach i guess.
I've played a few Co-Op vs AI games since Vanguard dropped. There's been some very clearly bots on my team and none of them have been stopped yet so who knows if it's doing anything.
You can detect all of that without Kernel anti cheat.
Mouse movement, mouse position while pressing spells, how spells are pressed, how often spells are pressed, meta information while doing actions, there's a lot that can be tracked, which also allow for detecting bots..
Scripting however is more advanced, and while it still can be detected, it is harder. But IMO still doesn't explains the need for Kernel level anti cheat..

100% agree, get rid of smurfing. I LOATHE trying to play a normal draft pick match, and there's an obvious smurf on the enemy team. (I am not a good player imho, so it's really obvious when I'm in a match with fellow people at my skill level, and then there's that ONE stand out that is playing *way too good* for our level.) I don't even like smurfs on MY team, because it makes actually learning and playing the game harder for me when I basically get carried and don't have to do anything. I want to LEARN, not get carried. :(
I'm on OCE and ever since they released Vanguard I have been getting random jumps in ms, like from my regular 4ms to 3400ms within seconds, once or twice per game or just randomly disconnecting. I haven't got any issues with my machine, and it isn't my net.
I don't want to blame the update but it's the only outlier. It's extremely frustrating as I've done nothing differently and I'm getting punished.
Any tech peeps out there, is it possible for it to be causing this? Is there a way to fix it?
I worked so, so hard back in the day to get platinum. I wasn't good but I worked on getting better at the game and improving and getting to a spot I was happy with.

You can thank streamers like Body for Vanguard becoming a necessity. Huge hypocrite who claims to be anti-scripting but promotes bot selling sites on his streams. It's a shame people like him have absolutely no morals or integrity and essentially forced Riot's hands. Botting leads to scripting (throw away accounts) and other ruined games (bots are there sometimes to de-rank fast). Realistically scripters were never the only reason (and likely not even the main reason) for needing anti-cheat, but they were a reason to help ease in the user base. Now we're losing a lot of great things like custom maps, skin spotlights (potentially), and kernel level malware. Thanks Body! Top tier streamer.
Bots are extremly common in Co-op vs AI and low elo ARAM
You can only make an account with social security # and once you're banned, you're gone.
The crazy thing is, this is exactly what wildrift uses for ranked matches between iron IV - silver I (most matches). If you are in between these ranks you are playing entire enemy team bots till you hit like gold IV. Then they throw you against plat to emerald players who wreck the shit out of you coz you’ve been playing against bots this entire time.
Now I am really curious what are the bots like who can rank an account to Masters. Also how is it possible to remove smurfing?
I had a Yuumi MF bot duo lane in my game the other week. Fresh lvl 30 accs, building trash items boots and armor on Yuumi and same build on the MF. Afk for half of the game. All of my team reported them, prolly some of enemy team too and they both still got to ruin at least 20 other games when I checked the next day. Checking their history you could literally tell the other bots they leveled their accounts with just from the naming scheme alone.
The play pattern and everything is so obvious too, its hard to believe that someone at riot cannot write a proper detection program to autoban them quick.
So here's a weird thing, my friend is Iron IV. Genuinely. And his games don't look anything like how they're presented on TH-cam, they just look the same as bronze games

ive actually had a fair number of bots in my league games, usually they are most obvious when they move in a very unnatural way while not really seeming to be aware of the game around them possibly going to the wrong lane
I've had a few bots in ARAM. Usually account levelling bots for people who want to try the game and feel instant power with an account power levelled to a certain level and rank. Until their account gets banned for botting. I indeed saw more bots in MMOs like when I played Aion (the OG back in 2009/2010 until I ran out of money for the sub and switched to LoL 😅) and when I was... Working at a video game company that has two MMOs!! I got to learn how they detect them and had the privilege to hit them with a ban hammer very hard. 😂
vanguard scans more than scripts/bots and it is still active even if the game is not loaded, this is a bad signs. If you want to play still, just operate virtual machine to isolate the vanguard anti cheat.
If you try to lvl a new account today you would see countless bots until lvl 30. After that they suddenly vanish like they were never there.
Iron 4 accounts are HARDER to make, because you will BE BANNED IF YOU LOSE SO MUCH, you need to lose properly, which is harder
I disagree on where bots are, im not a great player, been playing around gold and plat on/off and this season did it for me, every single game there was a bot on either my team or the enemey side, me and my friends would look up their match history and its always the same, level 31-39 with 20 defeats. Another kind that we found was an afk one, happened multiple time they get in game, buy no item and dc at minion spawning, their whole match history is this (wich suprise me riot isnt banning them). Never saw this much botting in my 12 years of playing except for this season
Are you playing on EUW?
Because different servers have different problems. E.g. Korea has a lot less problems with smurfs and scripters, because there the accounts are linked to your real identity so it's much harder to create multiple accounts and it's also easier to track. Just as example.
And it could be that you're on a server that is far more infested with bots than other servers.

ive been playing this game for over 10 years now and currently in iron2. I was in gold took a 3 year break came back and boom puts me in iron and now i see bots every 3rd game
How would smurfing effectively be prevented?
Make folks be able to move servers at will, then ban smurfing.
Actually, you know what, for anyone that might go, "but profits", here's an idea;
Make the transfer cost cheaper, but when you buy them, you get a time limit of I don't know, a month or less, heck, you could make different tiers of it, cheaper for less time, or even higher times and payments... But you get to switch freely between different servers in that limited time and then by the end of it, you choose where you're staying and then have to re-buy it afterwards, if you want that freedom again.
The only "smurfing" I ever did was to get accounts on NA, to play with friends across the pond, instead of paying for constant transfers, while being active in my main region on a constant as well, 3 at this point cause I forget the credentials of the first 2.
I cant count how many smurf that i have been playing against for months.

Wait, Vanguard is out on League as of right now? I havent had it pop up the same way it did back when I was playing Valorant (as in, seeing it in the taskbar, being able to actually engage with the application etc).
they are testing it on some servers. not on all of them though.

It could work, but depending on how much it costs people will still buy botted accounts if they're cheaper.
@@nyandra290 just make them cheap enough so it's not worth the effort. 5 dollars or something. I'd much rather get an official LV30 account from riot that won't get banned then a cheaper eBay account at that price.
