This was from a stream of mine where I attempted the "All Unique Moons" speedrun for the first time. It's a run where you collect all 880 moons in Super Mario Odyssey. It was pretty fun, hopefully you enjoy it! :D

@@Smallant Just do the same thing as the no capture run. Can't complete the game with no captures but you try to go for the least amount of captures. Go for the most amount of moons you can get without looking at the game. Volleyball is one you'd look for but almost every other one you could do.

It's fun seeing Smallant before he had all of the game knowledge he has now. It's refreshing to see him a bit out of his element and to remember that he had to practice to get this good just like everybody else does.

I was doing a casual run through of collecting all moons cause im a completionist, i just finished wooded and it has taken forever cause im a filthy casual.
When I first got the game and played through it casually it took me a looong time to make progress. I'm a completionist too and didn't want to leave before getting everything I could!

I just started my first casual play through yesterday, and I’m going to do an all moon run for the same reason. The thing is, though, that I’m also attempting to learn speedrun strats at the same time, and it legitimately took me the entirety of the 6-7 hours of the first day trying to do the first half of Upfrog Skip because I’m a stubborn twit and I still failed and then tried for another two hours today before I just put it on hold so I could actually play the rest of the game. 😅
I keep getting like a few pixels off and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!!!

I found it after talking to talkatoo and it still took me so long to realize that the taxi it's talking about is an actual taxi in the sky that's way off in the background
I found it because I just assumed it existed when I saw the binoculars.
EDIT: I always thought that was such a dumb mission, in any kingdom.

I've had Odyssey for over a year and just found out that you can damage the mega gushen by ground pounding
I was the opposite. When I first fought the boss I thought you could only damage him by ground pounding!

I think the most surprising part of this was the fact that, despite playing entirely in Japanese, the ENGLISH version of Jump Up, Superstar! played in the New Donk City Festival.

Then my wife enters the room with a smile on her face saying are you ever gonna get off that game ,"no daddy is showing me the fast strats, minutes later he falls asleep on my lap. That will be a good time.
