Now Mennonites down here by ST.Jacobs area made heater from water heaters. 220 -3000 watts, I don't know well I guess they don't chop any more, so they don't use power plants in winter. That thermostat really does not have to be on if u don't leave on too long. I don't like them, take alot of hydro 1500 watts . My 574 has one 2 hrs & battery & everything is heated up. Yes we have a IH 674 IH 844S and case IH 4230(edit IH SWD 6)
I usually plug it in for an hour and they are good to go
