Sorry everyone, several videos that I posted was accidently removed when I cleared my google data browser. I don't know how that happened, but over a dozen video was removed. I will be reposting most again.
Much love for Guam loved my time there , looking like Opportunity to turn Adversity into Prosperity , Think beyond the box the past has left behind , Sell what the future will bring . Guam was living independent of the rest of the world for eons. That motel would make a nice green house to grow food , would be good for the island . If you're passionate enough to sell the idea someone will buy it , I'm sure the bank and the town doesn't want to sit on the abandoned property , they don't want to pay to tear it down , I'm sure that they would buy a small win instead of a large loss .
Nice hotel. Good staffs. Nice spa, nice stores. Beautiful lobby when i visited once there. Hope the owners well didn't get ripped off by a corrupted worker or too much taxes 😮 the rooms had Beautiful views from the balcony
Heard they owe a lot of tax to govguam and left island. Now a new owner took over. I believe the employees had something to do with that, but not sure.
I spoke with the owner and it closed due to mismanagement and funding concerns. It’s going to cost about a million to restore it. They own this and the Winner building that you did a video on off Marine drive across. Recommended to him to fix it.
So sad, it was 1st named Sherwood Hotel & was a beautiful hotel back then. Then it closed down & a Korean tried to make it a condominium, Call Verona Hotel did not make. So sad …
This hotel is bad luck from the time it was being built chelu. I remember back when it was being built they halted construction couple of times and changed builders couple of times as well! had issues after it was built.
Thanks Chelu. I feel really down. Makes me lose moral in making more videos. I'm looking into the matter with YT. Always good to hear from you. Take care.
Nice Vlog chelu'🤙 keep up those great videos....former guam 6seven1 resident here....🤙
Thanks and will do. It’s great to hear from a former 671 resident 😊

Wow! Thanks for the info, makes sense now.
Those cars are the weirdest thing.A 1950s T-Bird, a Ferrari, another Hummer. What are they doing there?

Thanks for the inside scoop, much appreciated
Crazy. I've been there in 2009.
I’ve been there 2015
I hope they would rent it into a beautiful hotel place 😊

So it’s definitely a haunted land?
One of the abandoned white car looks like a stripped ferrari
I believe it is. I also saw a vintage Porch in the lobby. Not sure if the Porch runs but its on display.
How can I get in there as of now??
waste of land , they should do something with that
Man, I'll take that HV.
Nice cousin
I want them to like demolish it because nobody gonna repair that
They should use that for the homeless so no more homelessness in Guam
I love abandoned places I tried to plan to make a iMovie
This was abandoned way before corona my guy
That has prob. been closed for 20 years. I was there in 2005-2007 and it had been closed then.
No google confirm that Verona hotel was closed in 2022
I stayed there for 6 nights while attending workshop at UOG, this was 2017.
Turn it into a housing projects it could generate more income to help the guam economy
Yes, better than going to waste
That's way before covid
Meanwhile, the jfk couple touring the place and seeing tourist- 🗿
I know what’s underneath there :)))
What’s underneath?
Dam you internt!😠
