I traveled from Uruguay for 14 hs to see this incredible, out-of-this-world show. I am 60 years old and I´ve been a huge ABBA fan for decades. I hope I can see it again because it is absolutely worth it. I am glad to see young people like you that appreciate the quality of ABBA.
I have so many favourite ABBA songs that I have difficult telling them! I admire ABBA for their genuine humility despite their great success. They are my role models and I feel that they heal me. Think that we all need them and their good and fine music and vibrations more than ever.
i'm off with ten others of my family in october. now i'm even more excited after watching this. sounds as if it will be an abbasolutely amazing show. cheers to you and all us abba fans throughout the world. xxxxxxx

This is the most informative video I have seen on the Voyage Tour, even including official marketing materials. I finally understand what it is and how it works.
Thank you for the review. I was a teenager when ABBA music reached my life. I remember the excitement when watching tv shows of them at home with my family. Such good memories. Greetings from Spain!
@@ShonaHarding Yes, I have photos of it which I will treasure. We had a good laugh as I had a 1976 music cassette of ABBA Greatest Hits with me and I asked Benny if he'd like to buy it! 🤣
I saw ABBA Voyage with my sister and her boyfriend on Sunday Janurary 15th as part of my late birthday gift, i had tears in my eyes as it was so good. Big softies i'am, the opening was the visitors which is my favourite track. As it was their last album in 1981 not knowing they would be releasing another album 40 years later.
That’s so sweet and special! I must admit, I didn’t know all the songs but the feeling of being in a room with so many people who all love the same band was amazing. Truly phenomenal
Enjoyed your video. I do love the the 'it's like 4k' comment. It'a far more more than that haha. The best one though was 'they had a band and singers that I think are real people' 😂😂😂. They are. Made me smile. Nice vid
i went to Voyage last July. Being an older fan who was too young to see them the last time they played live in London in November 1979. Having read how much work the four ABBA members who are now all in their 70's put into the making of this show (something like 5 full days for 8 weeks in motion capture outfits) I was blown away. The dancefloor was our option and after all the pandemic stuff it was nice to be in a crowd again, although it didn't actually feel like you were rammed together. Every second of the show was amazing and although a few of my personal favourites weren't in the setlist, I believe they plan to change that at some point so we'll definately be going back. How lucky are us Brits that they chose London to launch this show and I never fail to be impressed with those fans who have travelled from all over the world to see it. ABBA has this very rare phenominon of uniting people of all ages and all walks of life with their music, which is infectious and joyous. great review, and lets hope Voyage continues to run with sell out shows.
great to read your review billydog. we're coming over from canada and joining nine other family members for our abba voyage concert in october. it's going to be abbasolutely fantastic i already know. i too have been an abba fan since the day they walked onto the stage in brighton in 1974, and i too was sadly a tad too young {i wish now, lol} to get to see them live. i can hardly believe that my life time love for this group is now going to materialise into seeing them 'live'. what a tribute to the best band in the world. what a day for me it's going to be. and what a great time to be alive for all of us abba fans. peace, love and blessings to us all. xxxxxxx
@@frankl34798 pleased it was helpful and I KNOW you are going to have an ABBASOLUTE BLAST. safe journey and I hope the whole family has a great experience.
Great review! The main reason why Voyage works so well is because ABBA are all alive and they did all the motion capture for the show. You simply couldn’t do it with an artist who is no longer with us. That’s why the likes of Whitney, 2Pac and Roy Orbison were awful. And they were holograms. ABBA is digital.
"you simply couldn't do it with an artist who is no longer with us'...Excactly! that's the difference and it's gotta be shouted out there to everyone.Voyage carries ABBA"s 'alive' prints within.Consciously, willingly!Otherwise you can't take a dead artist and do the same. It's fake and blasphemous.Just my perception.
Yes Gareth, very well put. This is the latest technology out there. ABBA is the pioneer and first to do this remarkable venue. And, they used the best tech guy to direct it, George Lucas of Star Wars fame. And your right, it's much better with the band members still alive, which makes conversation keeping the Voyage Concert alive and popular. BTW, it was a great and interesting review.
Shona , hey great and interesting review. This is definitely on my Bucket list. So glad you had fun and I'm so glad the younger generations are jumpin ' on board the ABBA Love train. Today, it's a shame their is no real music to appreciate or like. ABBA brings us joy and upbeat Musica. Enjoy the ride! 👍🌹🎶
Dia dhuit! Thank you, Shona. Indeed. Lovely to see how you enjoyed the show and how you explained everything so nicely. I'm going to see it in April. The most expensive show I've ever visited so far... Ticket for Block B (seated), Flight DUS -> LCY -> DUS , 1 Night Hotel, Visitor Oyster Card... about 550€ so far... Must say, I've never really been an ABBA Fan. But most of my favorite Bands don't exist anymore as several members already died. OK, Now ABBATAR 🙂 You didn't mention the prices for the merchandise you've purchased. Well, that will be another shocking experience I guess.
Thank you for your comment! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! The jumpers range from £50-£80 The lanyard was £4 The program book was £15 I hope that helps!
A lot of the people in the seated sections did sit for a majority of the show, but they were older people so maybe their mobility isn’t as good. However during Dancing Queen the whole arena was on their feet and it was magical. So I think yes you can dance and stand in the seats, but be mindful of the people around you being able to see the show too
The leg space in front of the seats is a bit wider that that of theatres and cinemas, so you can easily get up and dance, wave your arms in the air and have a good time on your feet. My block seemed to be up on their feet more than sitting down. It's your choice. depending on the songs, but whatever you choose to do, you are guaranteed a feel good, happy time!
Interesting review, definitely touches on some subjects usually glazed over. Out of curiosity, what do you think of the two new songs on the set list? I Still Have Faith In You and Don't Shut Me Down.
I enjoyed them! Definitely different to what I’m used to with ABBA but they gelled well in the show and didn’t feel out of place. What do you think of them?

Once again. They are Avatars. Not Halograms. You cant duplicate Abbas Avatars with anyone who is dead. Being Alive is required. Research how theses Avatars were created. 👍
You are not allowed to film in the venue, there are strict instructions that if you do, you will be removed. I for one really enjoy this addition as it meant everyone was in the moment enjoying the music, and you weren’t just lost in a sea of phones
