Why it has emotional impact? is because we missed ABBA when they stopped making music, and this is ABBA once again in front of us with new music, and with us once again loving their music.
Even though Im Danish, it warmed my heart when Benny said to bring ABBA Voyage back to Australia. My love for ABBA began there when I went to the concert in 1977 in Perth (I was four) And loved them ever since. Have seen ABBA Voyage three times and going again in April. And so funny when Benny said "NO" to Eurovision and you could see that Bjørn would have been up for it.
What you got to remember ABBA are geniuses , I love how Benny & Björn are really focused on modern technology and I loved how Benny played the Laurel and Hardy as well .
For me abba is more than a music group, they are people who have basically been blessed by a heavenly entity, because their songs, melodies, voices and arrangements are magical, Björn and Benny's talent for composing is incredible, it is demonstrated by the fact that half a century has passed, and their songs still sound today, on the other hand, the voices of Agnetha and Frida have nothing to envy to opera singers, their voice is a siren's song, a celestial choir, and I am not exaggerating when I say this, but it is a group that is made up of highly talented and professional people, ABBA is part of history, along with legends like The Beatles and Michael Jackson
Great interview and my fingers crossed that Abba Voyage comes to Australia, preferably Melbourne! I had the privilege of seeing voyage with my daughter in June and was simply wonderful ❤️❤️
Extremely interesting and informative interview. As i am in my final few chapters of this life, i sort of take comfort in knowing i won't have to witness the ensuing chaos in the decades to come.
🙌💫🎶Nice interview by Björn and Benny. They are a good production team showing their hits, music. I hope that there will be some new songs coming from them. Fans all over the world are very grateful to ABBA for their music.🎶💫🙌🌻🌟🌟🌟🌟💫🙌🙂♥️
Fantastic interview! Honeslty if anyone is an ABBA fan they will know the difference in wording and recording style. Plus they have stood together and moved on gracefully as adults should do. That's why we love them. They are REAL in every way.
Well done to Victoria Derbyshire for present an intelligent interview and avoiding all the usual boring questions that have been asked a million times. For older artists I'm impressed just how familiar Benny and Bjorn are with the latest technology. I really hope we'll get to see the ABBAtars perform the missing songs recorded for the show.
It's emotional coz we thought they would never release new music let alone give us a new album and show. I think the others will be able to persuade Benny over Eurovision next year. Bjorn has hinted he is for a reunion in 2024.
Brilliant. So interesting to hear their thoughts on AI. Most fans don’t disassociate music from the artist. How could you become a life long lover of music if you don’t relate to the artists behind it. Ask abba fans, No doubt Bruce Springsteen fans or Taylor Swift fans. I think Bjorn is right you will have plenty of AI music, classical, club music, film scores etc) , music for artists helped by AI and then the original Artists which will have meaning, personality, association, life experiences etc. . I think the memories and legacy over years will still be for original artists. Anyway God bless Abba . Truly unique
I think it’s emotional because it is in effect a time machine backwards, and I think most people given the chance, would give anything to be able to revisit their past, and re-live it,but with the knowledge they have now. Too deep ?
I would LOVE to go see the London show, but it's so damned expensive - not just the ticket(s), the over night accommodation, travel costs etc etc.. It's sad to say but I'll probably never get to witness it "live" so to speak.
Prices for events are ridiculous. I have lost all interest in seeing concerts for this reason. I have seen most of the artists I would want to see anyway but even if I had not, I am not prepared to pay stupid prices to see anyone on principle. It is just not worth it financially or in any other sense.
I HOPE they bring the Voyage Arena to Australia. I am in Western Australia,,,,but to go to Melbourne is a lot easier than flying to London. I saw ABBA in 1977 in Perth. The best concert of my life. Still love them as much as I did in 1973.
I thought, Oh great, an Abba interview, by the end I wanted to get my watch time back. I don't watch BBC but they seem true to form. Every box ticked...sorted. Truly depressing.🙁
Russia should get out of Ukraine then. Opposition to Putin is almost non existent in Russia yet people accept living in a police state. In Germany in the 1930s the SPD opposed Hitler and in eastern European countries from 1945 to 1990 many people stood up to communism. So what are Russians so scared of and when are they going to remove him from power?
UK government is very much behind why the combat is there in the first place, so the BBC lady just carries on with that thing, she is on the task on this propaganda bit. And yes, Russia did hit that night military objects in Ternopol, including storages of the UK-supplied depleted uranium (!) ammo, meant to be aimed at the Russians... "what a nasty thing to do" (c)
”Let The Geniuses Speak” 🙌 Thanks Victoria for such a considered and captivating meeting.
I learned a lot with that vidéo , last week i bought their box with 102 songs.

Even though you are Danish, I will give you credit for enjoying ABBA
(Sweden here 😊)
The best Music 🎹🎼🎻 band EVER
ABBA is more than a Music band, they are a blessing from the Most High!
@L4AH4N1889 - Bjorn wouldn't like you saying that about them, he is an atheist.
What you got to remember ABBA are geniuses , I love how Benny & Björn are really focused on modern technology and I loved how Benny played the Laurel and Hardy as well .
Absolutely should be considered more often as one the greatest pop songwriting geniuses.

so many great songs, so many great movies, so many great music videos - wait a minute! THEY ARE ALL GREAT!

Very good interview! Good questions, not the usual ones.

What a fantastic down to earth interview, Victoria did a fantastic job.

@@plerpplerp5599 yes I think she pretty much exhausted that topic !
for a small country, Sweden has had a huge impact.

Intervista interessante, questi 2 geni musicali collaborano insieme dal 1966.Incredibile .ABBA nessuno come loro. ❤
AI is with us BUT it has no emotions and NEVER will have !
I think the band peaked artistically in 77/78 with the release of 'ABBA - The Album'. There simply isn't a bad track on it.
Bjorn is so lovely 😍

@@eightiesmusic1984 good point, but how much did you pay for your mobile phone...?
Long live Abba. Stuff AI!!!!👌
ABBA stands with Ukraine! Yeh!!

🙏🙏...sy fens benny anderson.. Tapi sy tidak bisa bahasa inggris sy ucapkan benny sehat selalu..💙💙🙏🙏
Bjorn wants to perform again as ABBA. benny doesnt. and the world wants them to.
Benny is writing something for Eurovision, his second No was sounding a little bit ,I don’t wanna talk about it yet .
Could have had 5 minutes on Chess and 5 minutes on Kristina, but otherwise good interview.
I thought, Oh great, an Abba interview, by the end I wanted to get my watch time back. I don't watch BBC but they seem true to form. Every box ticked...sorted. Truly depressing.🙁
Love to AВВА, especially to my favorite AgnetНа.
Odd to hear that they never socialize lol.
I think they labeled Bjorn and Benny backwards? Did they?
AI will never have a human heart & a human soul. Those are things technology will never be able to create.
Yes we want to a voyage Avatar tour please we love ABBA❤

Many Russians love ABBA . Bringing the war in Ukraine and politics in this interview is out of place
I totally agree. Bringing politics into any interview in which the subject of politics isn't the topic has gotten very tiresome.
Just as ridiculous to mention that the "ghey" community hijacked the Abba's for their personal use.
That emphasises the so called 'quality' and biases in the British media nowadays. The rest of the interview was very good.

It‘s interesting how Benny purposely mispronounces Agnetha’s name because he knows no one would notice if he did it properly.
🙂🌞🏖ABBA🥳🐬🍀
🖖
The true talented ABBA IS SO REAL IN OUR HARTS AND FOREVER with beautiful authentic music. I don’t like this interview with that lady, sorry
I actually liked the words that the A I thing made up..............Sorry Bjorn......
AI spews that kind of rubbish out all day long. Try it and see what I mean.
