@@GordonVart Thanks man, nice find... Unfortunately it only works on meshes within a blueprint... So it doesn't work on the armors in my game. The armors are skeletal meshes that gets spawn on the character when he picks them up.. So that's a real shame.. But I got this to work on my naked character and weapons and so. So thank you for that :-)
@@reeanimationgaming1034 Gotcha. That's a bummer it doesn't work. I have had so many issues when attaching things like armor to the character. The last time I tried that I couldn't even get the collisions to work properly. The armor basically clipped through everything and then I decided to wait for UE5. I love the Unreal Engine but sometimes it can really be frustrating just trying to do basic things. I've been dabbling as a hobby learning this for almost two and a half years now, and every time I turn around there is still something new to uncover. I just downloaded UE5. it's kind of like starting a new relationship. Keep in touch, I'd love to see what you end up putting out.
@@GordonVart Oh man... I just figured out how to do it within the blueprint.. I could just get the armor and set decals to off.. It's an extra node I need in the BP for each armor, but that is fine :-) Thank you for pointing me in the right direction :-)
Brilliant man.. Thank you!!!
Do you know how I can avoid the decals being projected on to the character when he runs past it? :-)
