    I appreciate the actual opinion of a real coach/player that doesn't try and sell the racket like so many other channels...keep up the good work 👍

    A good review is one which helps people decide if a racket might be for them, not something that solely gives one persons reactions and how they alone feel about something.

    when i played with the 100 head size on the original aero i felth like i could not even swing my racket or it would fly out. Going to demo the 98 and hope to get same control as my blade 98 but with more spin and manouvrability

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea I feel similar as you. The Aero 98 will have more pop and spin than the blade but not as much as the 100 aero. Good luck with the demoing 👊

    I have two of the aero 98 and find they are hard to find sweetspot and seem very powerful and hard to control. I always hit long when I use it and it is sort of hurting my shoulder. What racket would you recommend for me? I am mainly a baseliner

    • @sergeykouptsov
      @sergeykouptsov ปีที่แล้ว

      Try lower tension.20-22 kg is nice for that racket.

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, first try to lower tension and go for a softer poly, or else I would recommend Yonex Ezone 98 or Head Xtreme Tour 👍

    Very nice Video! You play a very solid ball. So how do you compare the pure aero 98 to the Vcore 98? I dont know if its worth to test the aero 98. Im an allcourt spin player but also like to defense with nice shots. I Like Dropshots too. I actually like the Vcore. What would you recommend me?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks and good question. I would prefer the Aero 98 over the Vcore 98. The aero will have a bit more power than the Vcore 98. My favorite Yonex is the Vcore pro 100. If you are thinking about changing rackets, always try and find a stick that will help your weaknesses. Most people will focus on their strengths, like wow, this racket gives me so much control on my offense, but then when they play players above their level, they can hang at all since that same racket gives them nothing on the defense.

    • @JacquesMltr
      @JacquesMltr ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay thank you! The only problem I have is, when I order 2 rackets, they are not the same

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JacquesMltr yea, the quality control can be a bitch…I have several rackets that are up to 10 grams difference that the advertised weight 😤😤 insane.

    Thanks for great comparison review and reference to your Babolat GOATS. I have transitioned from 2012 PD GT Coretex to 2021 PD 100 to 2023 PA 98.
    Loving the maneuverability, control and spin potential of the PA 98 so is my current racquet of choice.
    Any idea why I prefer the older PD to the newer one?
    Cheers and keep up the great reviews!

    How would you compare them to the Head Extreme Tour and Yonex EZone 98?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question: ranking them like this. 1. Extreme Tour (perfect blend of power, control and comfort) 2. Ezone 98 (good comfort and control, but lacking some power). 3. Pure Aero 98 (good pop and solid sweet spot but was rough on my arm). 4. Pure drive 98 (pure trash 🫣)

    How did the aero 98 compare to Ezone 98? Which has a bigger sweet spot?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say ezone has a more reliable sweet spot with more control than the aero…aero a bit more stiff with extra pop…depends on what you like…just don’t use different color strings in next video 🙃 😜

    Det ser ud til, at alle i Danmark bruger enten Babolat eller Head ketchere!
    It is interesting that the general opinion of Babolat players is that the Pure Aero 98 is better than 100. Have you noticed this also?
    And will you trial Babolat Strike 98 18x20 / 16x19 in future?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ja, har også hørt at især HEAD er helt vild stort i DK. And yes, I think the pure aero 98 is better than the 100…you get a better feel and comfort compared to the bigger and bulkier 100. One of our coaches love the strike 98 16x19, so maybe we will include that in one of our future reviews…I haven’t tried it so that would be fun to do👍

    Are you able to swing more freely with the aero compared to the pure drive?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, exactly…for my game style, the pure aero felt much better at contact, and I could go for my shots for freely (confident)…the pure drive 98 felt way off, and just couldn’t find the sweet spot at all, especially during points.

  • @jonathanchen1026

    The color does affect how the string feels and the playability, so one could argue you are using 2 different strings.

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure, people can argue a lot, especially these days, people getting triggered left and right…stay triggered bro 😎 👊 (jokes aside, some strings do feel a lot different depending color, personally I think lux element and element black are very different, one of our coaches think the technifibre razor white and blue are two different strings completely…however, the Hawk touch does feel the same in both red and gray imo)

    Tempted to switch to Babolat! What tension and strings were on these?

    • @tennisviking
      @tennisviking  ปีที่แล้ว

      Head Hawk Touch 17g, good solid string that’s not too stiff or too soft. Strung at 44 lbs on a Wilson baiardo
