- One of the most annoying things as a tram driver is when people cross the tracks without paying attention. We are very vigilant, especially when passing other trams, about people suddenly crossing. At 22:20, we see an example of a fatbike with two girls who are crossing the tracks. Even though we are driving slowly (15 km/h), the fact that the bike is already crossing the left track would make it almost impossible to avoid a collision. Luckily the girls managed to brake in time, but the stress it causes to drivers is not nice. Especially considering that this happens to us around five times every day...
To those who do things like this: please always wait to cross the tram tracks until you can have a complete overview of the situation and can also see what is coming from the other direction. Think of your own safety as well as the wellbeing of the driver!

Thank you for another interesting journey. You didn't sound at all happy on this one. I don't blame you! Perhaps you should ask them to equip a ship fog horn to your Avenio tram. That will get some attention!
Will they learn from this? Probably not. You have my sympathy for having to put up with this.
😱🚲That was a close call at (22:20), wow that even frightened me. Now i can see what you have to put up with and the dangers of driving a tram. Also that girl on her mobile phone was totally oblivious that you were right behind her and that she was very near to the tram tracks (26:18) Other near misses as well with the van and car at (29:15) and (29:37) 😱 Excellent video as always and i hope you are doing well from Steve in the UK ❤
Hi Steve, I'm Graham from the UK. I watch these a lot. I agree about the dangers they face with idiots on bikes and mobiles. I wonder what the young tram driver was saying when he saw them girls coming from the back of the tram. I wonder if he was saying some harsh words, lol 😆 🤔 I would of said some chosen words 😉 😄

Ik begin nu volledig te begrijpen waarom trambestuurders van Avenio's steeds minder of korter hun knipperlichten gebruiken. Soms zelfs helemaal niet. Wat een irritant piepje is dat.
