The studying in the morning advice is super important, mostly for people who have jobs, kids, responsibilities in general that leave you exhausted at the end of the day. Studying while tired absolutely does not work. I started doing that too, waking up at least three hours before everyone else at home woke up (around 5 am) just so I could code and study as the first task of the day, and I became so much more productive because I could start well-rested and spend all that fresh energy in coding and studying instead of spending it in other things. Totally recommended.
True……I got a CS degree and it was ultra hard to focus while working full-time! Nearly impossible to focus after exhausting physical labor…….sometimes had to nap to regain energy not to mention preparing meals and working out too. Have to be smart when you study, it’s best to learn dense, technical stuff when you have the most energy.
I love hearing Ana's struggle with feeling overwhelmed. I feel like there's so much and I'm in over my head, feels good to know more people feel that way but are successful in the end.

Thats something I'm trying to make sure I keep in my mind as I start. Its gonna be a long and stressful journey but as long as I stick with it, it will be more than worth it in the long run.

i spent too much effort reading coding books cover to cover. i should have jumped into basic projects sooner. i probably would do a bootcamp if i could go back in time.
@@ダチアヨ there is so much stuff out there to learn that a bootcamp will help you stayed focused on the important stuff. you can do it on your own. i did. but then it is up to you to try to sort the essential from the stuff you will hardly use. also because a bootcamp is scheduled, i suspect more people would follow through. on your own, you really need to be self motivated and disciplined to stay on task.
Colorful Codes I agree with your statement and boot-camps are different. I am a self taught developer. I created my own curriculum dependent on my needs and wants. A boot-camp creates that curriculum for you to follow which may or may not be what you want; but, will be what is needed at the time, to get a job. And will involve learning frameworks like Bootstrap, react, node or angular using MongoDB or the like. I don't and will never use a framework. They take too long to load and add too much bandwidth use to my servers.

However, I tend to procrastinate... not learning enough hours per day... Already got the basics in Python though. Probably is best to try to first get a junior Python dev job, and then continue learning ML. I need to finish my site and add some projects on it (it's from template). Before that, I'll still do 1 more course on Udemy, that I bought (for £11) in advanced Python programming. I hope to be able to apply for jobs before the end of the year. But I have to squeeze somehow more hours...

Being able to obtain careers in tech without a degree has largely been my experience here in the US. The companies that I've worked at, and that my friends have worked at seem to like self taught individuals more so than schooled. From their perspective it shows someone who is a self starter, is disciplined and really wants it. How has life been since your last comment?
2 courses away from graduation and still feeling like I need supplemental resources to fully digest which niche of IT I want to go into. 5 Wk accelerated course didn't allow me to fully digest all of the concepts while trying to do work and family and not feel overwhelmed by constant learning.
Agreed. Online bootcamps are nothing new. I spent months in a dark room in front of a monochrome display with a copy of C++ Primer Plus, a game engine source base, and no internet connection. There was nothing glamorous about this stuff. Man how the times have changed...
My tip stop comparing yourself to others as in how much competent they are why I am not there yet ... trust the process and keep going I wasted many years because of it see them as a challenge you will one day overcome not something to make you feel incomplete depressed and underconfident ... trust 👏 the 👏process 👏
Hello I am civil engineer by profession but I love to write programs, I am good at c++, learning python now . Plz tell how I can work online. I want to change my job.
1) Do I need to make a seperate start.sh file if I already have one that starts the Main.py 2) Is it possible to add the information to playback on startup inside the start file I already have? 3) Since I keep getting Permission Denied Errors (and constantly asking me to enter the pi password), when I try to copy the mp3 file to /etc/sound, and no issues copying to Downloads & Desktop, can I use their Path to load from?

My experience with changing the name is this: it messes up your SEO on all of these platforms + not every follower is going to see it, so you want to make the transition pretty long and lingering. Hence the “previously Coding Blonde” for those who haven’t seen it and for the SEO. Smaller channels probably have an easier time than larger because there’s less existing data and authority on keywords (I wish I knew how that works, I just know it’s definitely a thing), but I also don’t know haha. The algorithm is mysterious to me and I used to work at TH-cam

Try setting an end goal first (i.e. Think of a project you would like to build using Python) then you will be more motivated to teach yourself Python.
