Comment to counter the cost of the heli
Sounds good
Take up a collection haha!
Hellz yea I'd love a to have a heli drop some pizza and drop a new sled as well lol
2 hours to ride out and get a belt from truck....2 hours for heli.....call the helicopter 🚁 hilarious
@@TopTrendingMusic365if you didn’t notice everyone else kept riding, I wasn’t going to send my dad solo. Did I absolutely need a heli, no, was it the easiest option. Ya
I've been watching for almost 2 years now and I still PHYSICALLY lean my body while watching the side hilling in the video. I feel like I'm helping though
Nothing better than opening up youtube to see a fresh vid from Matt.
Am I the only one that catches myself ducking and weaving when the tree branches come up? lol
Nope! I also lean hard when watching sidehilling and dodging trees etc.
No, I duck, dodge, dip, dive, and lean sometimes. I feel like I'm actually helping. 😂
My Wife says" What the H are you Doing?" Ducking weaving, Weight Shifting,.wrong Foot Jump overs. !!!!! LOL
@@dtracy03ssout here side hilling the lazy boy haha
No I did too lol
Love that Dawson is back. Great video
30 degree slope is equal to a 7/12 roof pitch, I’ve been roofing for 23 year, your regular ground walker is not getting up on a 7/12 roof pitch , an 8/12 roof is when I start using some sort of safety net, new guys limit is probably a 6/12 safely walking , of course alway wear your regular harness 😊
Great analogy. I was a framer for 20 years, so that's how I look it also.
Hard to believe that where the moose live.. what a tough, resilient animal. They don’t get to go home when it’s -35 out lol
I have seen one in Montana back country when riding. It was running a easy 30 mph through snow up to its stomach like it was nothing. Huge animal.
Anyone else notice Poolaris always breaking down, while the doo's always ripping
The blown ski doo ?
Nope, haven’t noticed that. The times I’ve been out riding I’ve seen far more doos being wrenched on and far more Polaris’s ripping.
yup. all sleds break eventually. like the skidoo in this video. but nearly every single video hes put out this year has had a polaris having issues
Gotta set up a Heli Fund! I appreciate you getting the Heli to bring belts for the content. That was some wicked riding none the less. Another Great Video Matt!
Haha you guys watching is the heli fund! I spend whatever I make on sleds/ content!
Thanks!
@@MuskokaFreerider this response is exactly why I always support you! Gotta order more merch!
Thanks for what you do; a joy to watch and a highlight of my day!
Glad to see Dawson back! Love watching you and him ride together!
Can't wait to get home and watch this on the big screen!
got the notification as I went out to warm up my car....😆
Just did this very thing.
Once again, great capture of the pure enjoyment of riding and camaraderie! Great episode!
Steep and deep! Love watching the 165 turbo’s struggle it’s so deep!!. Epic stuff right there!!
That was some badass, intense riding Matt! Doo for the win! Good reminders about my polaris too.
No Joke, exactly 1 week before this i trashed the same belt on a Timbersled (QDT) in a similar "not many options spot". I had the same self regret for having a spare in the truck as well lol. no heli as a buddy on an EXO had a spare on his Matryx and saved me from my predicament.
Love the long videos. Keep it up Matt!
Love getting home from school and seeing a notification from freerider
Same
You guys get into some incredible terrain! Those cedars are huge!
Love the vid! Keep 'em coming, Matt 😊
Cool to see the progression for you guys in that zone over the years. Learning the easiest line, getting better sleds, all made it happen to get to the top finally! It's one of the most satisfying things about sledding to put it all together and learn the terrain to be able to climb elevation quickly.
Yea there’s really only a couple lines you can take so you learn the best one pretty quickly
Mint, brother! Thanks for sharing!
Such great video work, Matt! I get so immersed I find myself shifting my weight at the dining room table and ducking under tree branches.
Loving the awesome videos!
Awesome ..when i get notification from Muskoka always a good time, but when I see 55 min video i said..ok let's watch o big screen..thanks Matt to take us with you, ✌️✌️ we need to see Jason more riding
At 9:01 in the video you can see the moose 🫎 even before Matt spotted it and said “Oh Moose” at 9:13 in the video … 😎😎😎.
A+++
Dude.. I thought he said “that’s a boost!”
Like he was talking about the snowmobile.
😂
@@Outdoors-and-Sports 😆😉👍.
I noticed the tracks just before that. MR moose is just chillin
@@dupes_1618 good eyes 👀…👍👍.
Hi muskoka I watch every one of ur vids I love snowmachining even at 11 can you come up to Alaska sometime thanks have a good winter!
Cringe
Good job on the video as always
That is one lost swamp donkey up there...someone broke the matrix and entered a new dimension? LOL
Well it might explain the trees in that one section on the second day?
That was pretty epic Matt and crew!
Well that was an interesting couple of days. When the belt goes on the Doo it certainly makes a mess, your dad was just picking his out of the clutch the other day and you didn’t give us any of that footage today. Still great stuff, Keep it up Matt!!
I like that you show us how to get unstock. We, regular people, get stock and use all our energy just get out and not on actually riding.
Thank you for your good video and share.
Keep on like this!
That looked like one heck of a ride! Thanks for taking the time to put your videos together, I really enjoy watching them.
So cool! Awesome work Matt!!
LMAO @ "what do you think, is that a good break in for a new belt" F'ing classic! love the videos brother!
Epic adventure man
Right on 👍
Always a positive attitude.
Todays video definitely got me pumped up to go shred pow. Nice work Matt, what an awesome zone and killer vid!
Epic man, absolutely epic.
Love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
🎉 nice vid
❤🎉 love your content always satisfying to watch and help fill the void when riding here in Ontario is non existent
Love the longer vidz
Just gave me a Dorset flashback 😮 with a side of grand touring 800 trip reminisce
Sick pit, brah.
Never clicked on a video so fast😂Great job Matt
Holy cow that looked like an absolute blast!
Was wondering about why a late vid but reading the title it’s gunna be worth it love the vids man never quite
Love the vids, keep em coming :)
The eastern Ontario part of me is hyped up for the water crossing bits haha
Figured there’d be a couple guys haha
winter amazing wonderland up there in the trees
Hadder wicked!!!!
Dang..didn't think they saw it😆😆
Awe man, Im just about to drive home from work... now i have to wait till i get home to watch😋
I know you’ll be back haha
@@MuskokaFreerider lol! I promise not to rip up the 401 to get home to watch.
Good stuff
Awesome content, thanks for what you do, and the merch i bought was awesome, I’m having fun out east plastering my buddies sleds with Freerider stickers when they get stuck😊
Skidoo any day over Polaris. Love your videos 👍👍
Which one blew a motor today?
You see, we're about 30 videos into this adventure and we experience a blown skidoo motor.. OMG 😲. But practically every video that someone has a Poo 💩, there is a failure. Or several. Mr poo head loves his poo so much, he can't handle your negative.
Only Doo queens will equate a blown fucking motor to a clutch or belt failure. God damn you girls are unreal.@@bigchaloopa
If you look at your attract angle at vid end, even the 65 is fighting itself climbing, a good set up 75 would be on top making speed with ski marks in the snow.. gotta be a balancing ack controlling that all day.. good vid
Bud light...oh my
Was waiting for this comment lol
To be fair , it's normally Coors😂
YIKES. I thought that was Bud Light. Need to edit that out. 😂
All the Atrazine! 🐸
Don't, just don't.
good content
Nice video
Ayo,I Am Amazed Wow 😮
1:11 #MuchLove Thx For Sharing I Am Really Amazed That Y'all Got Well Prepared Before Ya Travel Out On The Trail's,Too Beat On Y'all's Turbocharged Engines,I Also Just Recently Learnt About You're Page
Epic!
Hell of a rider...!
Regarding those stumps, I'm guessing they high-graded the nice cedar saw logs and cedar poles out of there with a heli.
Sick video! Just wondering what camera your running for the nice shots.
RIP to that belt 💣
Can't wait for my sled to get out of the shop
Yessss a surprise episode! Love these longer mission videos💯❄️❄️💯
Wow, that tree you measured: ~4.6 feet (1.4 meters) wide!
9ft. Circumference is diameter/pi. radius is 4.5ft which is half of diameter
Heli to the rescue! Where’s the pizza lol! Nice job Matt!!
gona be a grate vid
That water crossing is now known as “Dawsons Creek”!😅
How often do u check the slide conditions before a sidehill.or u just a little more cautious now after that last bad drop in the wind blow area.
can you do a video comparing climbing with the limiter strap short and long ? thanks
Lunch special , we always use a couple of sticks for our lunch , chop-sticks are plentiful in the woods.
Great 👍
Yeeyee
Jerry was on one this vid ! Lol sassy jerry
Jerry looked awesome. I am the same age and i could not keep up to hm.
Was just typing about how big of a trooper Dallas's sled has been when it blew up 🤣🤣
Wow, no spare belt, that's gotta hurt.
Could have edited out the mess ups but Matt leaves them. Awesome
I know this is off topic ,but would you consider doing a video with an older XP 800 summit (2008) and see where it can get compared to your 2023's
Nice
"Chow Mein baby!"
Lets gooo!
The Poo stays on edge so much better and way more rowdy.
Moose at 9:05!! Haha 😂😂
Would love to see you try a artic cat 😺
That looket like so mutch fun. Cant ride onthill mai this year. The helt is acting up
There were a few spots that mad me uncomfortable on just TV! I want to ride sleds so bad lol
I like the Polaris better it even sounds better on video I love the days you're on the 9R!
Pretty sure you can see a moose at 9:02 aswell. Not sure if it's the same one!
Yep.
You’re a hellacious road builder. You should be an equipment operator 😅😅
I think Dallas needs a turbo 😂
He really does lol
Great video, You going riding with Caleb anytime soon?
Lou!! Lil bigs and TR money! Send in the Uber heli!
That's it, I'm not getting a matryx, till polaris figures out all their BS, panels flying off, clutches flying apart. I don't remember the axys having all these issues. I'm gonna keep the old axys till polaris works out the issues, or maybe try the Cat, if it holds together a season.
You should do a video or a quick section of video what you wear for bade and mid layers and everything underneath
Yep that zone is bad luck. Matt turns in to a lumber jack.
