- We've continued along the South Coast of Wales, and are now in the South West corner.
This video is about St. Ann's Lighthouse, whilst only being a relatively small Lighthouse, was an extremely busy station. It looked after a few offshore, Lights and did lots and lots of Helicopter operations. This video is narrated by Peter Fitch, Principal Keeper.
The Lighthouse isn't open to the Public, but you can Holiday in some of the ex Keepers Cottages, details from the following:

I remember following the Sea Empress disaster story. Now I get the insiders' view and narration. History that deserves to be remembered, thanks.
Thank you very much. My footage of the Sea Empress was a few days after the event, when they were trying to refloat her. Cheers and take care.
Great video as always , love waking up to these on a Monday morning - very calming , thanks
Thank you very much, glad that you are liking my videos. Cheers, take care and stay safe.
Caught up to the present after watching all your previous videos, thank you very much for preserving those.
Thank you very much for watching them. Happy Christmas, take care and stay safe.
Great bit of history thanks
Thank you very much. Cheers and stay safe.
Always wanted to be a lighthouse keeper when I was a kid then I found out they were all automated. I Was devastated
Hi, thank you for that. There are some countries that still have a few Keepers? The only way here now is to join the Tech/labour force that go out to maintain them Cheers and have a Great Christmas.
Another lttle gem Peter ....stunning. This time of year is always solemn as the 4th was Hughs 25th anniversary 😔 ..... on a happier thought it was always fun and enjoyable making up Hampers for the Bristol Channel stations being relieved via Swansea Airport ( Fairwood ) each station would have a fresh baked cake by my mother Frances ...and various parcels of treats and consumables as a gift to the keepers, really fun also showed me as a 10 yr old how to make the necessary items in life for day to day living last ....a good mindset for me. Merry Christmas to you and all your subscribers ....its wonderfull to have these video's to look at. 👍🎄🎄🎄👍
Thank you very much Barrie. That was extremely nice of your Mother, Frances, to do all of that for the different Lighthouse Keepers, I bet she was highly thought of down there. Anniversaries can be quite sad, but at least Hugh is fondly remembered. Cheers Mate, take care and stay safe. and a Merry Christmas to you and yours too.
Excellent work, thanks for this.
Thank you very much, stay safe.
Thanks Peter. Very interesting.
Thank you Tommy, cheers and take care Mate.
Hello Peter, hope you are well, lovely to see another light from the area around where I was born (Haverfordwest), even in Australia the oil tanker going aground was news and very sad to see as the local area is beautiful and apart from the oil operations, pristine. Stay safe my friend and if we don't get another video by Christmas, I hope you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year.
Awesome Peter, thanks for this fascinating 👍
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it. Cheers and stay safe.
A lovely account of the times. 😊
Thank you very much. Have a Great Christmas.
Another classic, great video and what an excellent speaker. Awesome fog horn could hear it echoing around. Loved the Skylark singing away. Sea Empress tragic indeed.
Thank you very much Mate. Glad you liked it. Yes, the other Peter did me proud by narrating this video. The Keepers certainly worked hard at St. Ann's Lighthouse, a very busy place. Cheers and stay safe.
Thank you for another great and interesting video
Thank you very much, glad you liked it. Stay safe.
Really enjoyed this--- still thinking of renting one of the cottages for a week to watch the ships coming and going
Yes, a great spot for watching ships coming in very close as well. Thank you very much and have a Merry Christmas & stay safe.
Still like the sound of the Tannoy kind of foghorn, its a shame they dropped them, I believe the only one in tact [still wired up ] is at St Bees Head in Cumbria. Great footage and story from Peter, hope you and your family have a great Christmas and thanks for posting these.
Thank you very much, yes the Tannoy is/was quite melodic/moody. Peter Fitch is a great narrator, really made this video come alive. Hope you have a "Great Christmas" too. Take care and stay safe.
Cool thanks mate
Like dari Indonesia paket komplit 🙏❤️🌹
