- 9,411 actual miles on this unrestored survivor. The car still looks practically new. Only 451 made total in these colors, documented with Marti Report.
Rare and attractive color combination. The red with full length rose color top and matching rose side moldings are very unique. I'm standing next to the car and it looks new. The paint is claimed to be all original and our inspection agrees. It has a shiny finish. No dents, garage scrapes or rust. I am very tempted to use the word perfect. As I sat in the car I could not find even a minor flaw. It's a very special interior that matches the exterior's 2 tone. It is all red with the rose inserts on the seats and door panels. The seats and armrests are glove leather. The dash area is pristine, the chrome sparkles, no cracked plastic. The motor compartment is 100% stock. It still has the stickers and assembly line markings, and all the vacuum lines are in place, the snorkel to the air cleaner is complete etc. It has not been spray canned or messed with.

These cars a Luxurious Icons of the past.
I bought a 1978 model in 1987 for $2,500.00 and it was in Excellent shape. I drove it for four years, The only difference, it was tan and it had the Digital Miles To Empt button.
Damn shame what has happened to Lincoln over the past several decades.

A tilt wheel??? of course it does you just need to push the turn signal stalk forward that's how they did it back in the day I know I had a 1977 Mark V.
It's a beauty! I'd be scared to death to take on the road though.

@@davidmcleod7757 Someone would hit it. The doors would get dinged. A stone would get kicked up by a big truck on the highway and crack the window. A thousand other things. That's the trouble when they look pristine. All you can really do with it is put it in a museum.

We use b-roll to show glimpses of each part of the vehicle when it is relevant to what Jay is speaking about, so stopping the turntable isn't necessary. I scrubbed through this video and we do show the interior, both dash and seats.
When you say glimpse, you're not kidding. There is literally about two seconds of interior view. I can't imagine anybody seriously interested in this car. The video spends no time showing any detail.
Happy to take the feedback into consideration and try some new stuff. We are working on some changes going into 2020 and I'll look at experimenting with what we can do different here. Hopefully you'll give us chance to make the changes and come back. Thanks for the constructive feedback.

It does have tilt you push the turn signal stick in forward & it tilts up and down

Not a prob I had later model Ford had the tilt stalk under the ignition but these year models it was the turn signal stalk push forward & the wheel tilts.
hey jay i dont mind looking at this mark ,, but when you run your hand on the pass side inside door why say its all leather in the door panel that s just a cheap sponge arm rest ,, not like the collectors seri or diamond jubilee

I wonder why it has Mark VI fin trim on the front fender.. Something is just not right if it does have only 9k miles

Did it rides it does have tilt steering I have one of these cars I've had two of them and they all have tilt steering it's not optional it's standard
We were confident it did too and was listed in our initial description. We are familiar with the vehicle and mechanism that would make it tilt however two of us tried after the video and couldn't get it.
My Grandfather, My Dads Dad HE Love Lincoln Town cars always purchased them Brand New and Everytime HE Would See a Nice one like this HE Would Say gotdamnit look at that son of a bitch right there Lol Lol Lol Lol

Are you referring to it having Luxury Group option? According to Marti Report on our website(8th picture) for the vehicle it did have Luxury Group option.
