We need to start another campaign like #FixTF2. F2Ps should talk. Its the literal BASIC of any game to have an accessible chat, not one you have to buy for $5. Its so annoying and frustrating to not be able to communicate to other players simply because they can't.
We can also name the campaign as: #F2Pshouldtalk or #F2Prights And this is the campaign demands: 1-F2P should have the ability to use chat and microphone. 2-F2P should have the ability to have all kind of craft recipes unlocked, meaning that F2P will have the ability to craft anything like P2P, meaning that F2P doesn't need to upgrade his account to P2P to be able to craft anything he want. 3- F2P should have the same item drop system that P2P have. (Because there's differences between F2P item drop system and P2P item drop system. 4-F2P should have the ability to call for votes and able to vote yes or no. 5-F2P should have the ability to play Competitive Mode for free. 6-F2P should have the ability to play MVM missions for free, without paying for tickets to play it. 7-F2P should have the ability to call for MEDIC!!!. If there's any other demands you want to tell, just say it.

tf2 is still the only game I have spent money on. I bought a backpack extention and got unmuted too. I think that after a certain number of hours played you should just get unmuted for free, but what do i know
maybe once you reach an set amount of *playtime* (not staring at the menu), like, maybe between 72 hours to a full week? during that time you get to see your teammates use communication, and learn from it

Here's some things. In 2fort i just crouched around as an engineer. And my entrsnce teleporter broke. And when i csme to the teleporter the demoknight that destroyed it did a u turn before looking at me. Then leaving me be.

Those hats are good looking and quite simple to obtain, i personally like the knight hat the most and also i really like the game alien swarm even though hat is not the best in my opinion (i was completely F2P up untill like 2022, and i started playing around 2019-2020)
I’m pretty sure you can still get the Lugermorph and any achievement item from those games as long as you own the games. I bought the first Poker Night years ago when it was still available, but got the second off G2A a few years ago and got the items.

I'd double check that you can still get the items but if you're willing to spend some money (I don't think I spent more than 20ish bucks but I honestly forget) and are willing to play a healthy amount of poker with pop culture characters, I'd say go for it. Best of luck though, don't feel like you're missing out on anything special just cause you didn't buy a game that was taken down for lame reasons but also don't give up completely on earning those items
It reminded of my F2P era... Whenever I got wounded, I was just hopping in front of a Medic so he could notice my health & heal me, telling my P2P friends on Steam Chat to say my speeches to the team, having almost no hats & just a few achievement items, Using "Try for free" on the weapons & such... 3 years passed (Yes, I'm late to be a TF2 player) & now I'm needless to do all those things I've mentioned above. Even tho I love the game SO MUCH & I play it 4-5 days per week, it completely thought me that what's the difference between an F2P & a P2P.

i remember my first two cosmetics being The Deus Specs and Ellis cap, both a gift from someone who wanted to stop the bullying i was receiving from premium players, and a year later i bougth the orange box, that gave me tf2 premium, and after a loooot of crafting i started trading until i got a value of 100 or 200 keys for my bp, one day, i decided that cosmetics were actually worthless and i sold everything, bought some games, and realized that the true experience of tf2 was just gameplay, like enjoying those infinite matches at 2fort or turbine, what a lovely game

I was lifted premium and it is hard to be an f2p because you get picked on and you could be seriously skilled your still considered as trash because you're a f2p. Valve's biggest mistake was removing communication from F2Ps cause I almost got 8k hours and back when I had 5-6k hours I had so much fun teaching new players the ropes
The last time I played the game was back in 2013 and I played it straight for a year on my PC that could barely run it but it was fun. I forgot my old Steam account so I made a new one when I finally got a PC this year. I tried playing TF2 for almost 2 weeks and kept constantly getting kicked because I was a F2P player. And when I tried to tell them I was a returning player I found out about me being silenced. It’s a real shame. I loved the game so much and wanted to give it another try after so many years later and older players are gate keeping me from even playing.
