One thing I learned about Ganondorf in all the Zelda series is not how powerful the Gerudo King/King of Evil/Demon King is. But rather how cunning he is since he deceived Queen Sonai and King Kauru by granting an audience. Using whatever means to retrieve his grand prize: Sonai’s tear stone.

Too bad, was wondering during my playthrough after finding the Spirit Sage if Paya was going to end up joining us as the Sheikah representative as a 'Shadow Sage'...but I guess they figured that BotW had them covered. I get why they ditched Forest though, Koroks have a clearly defined role in the game already, and aren't exactly suited for combat anyways.

You can trust him when he's on the verge of sanity like when he spared Link to get the Triforce of Courage. It's when he is in his prime (like here) that you shouldn't trust him.

Unless something keeps ganondorf sealed, the cycle will repeat endlessly. That IS why in the adult link timeline, after ganon gets sealed he never reincarnates

Ganondorf's back to being a mastermind badass, link is a force of nature and master mech builder/pirate, and zelda is getting more screen time than she's ever gotten (apart from windwaker), TotK really delivered.
