I thought you would appreciate this anecdote from Rav Schachter. Members of the Jewish community came to Rabbeinu Tam one of the foremost Tosephists, complaining that Christians were ‘teasing’ them with the Torah itself.
They claimed that the Torah itself supported the notion of the trinity from the first three letters, ‘beis’, ‘reish’, and ‘aleph’ which they said stood for ben,the son, ruach, the spirit, and av, the father.
Rabbeinu Tam took a moment and then responded. “Tell them that the next three letters are ‘shin’, ‘yud’, and ‘taf’. This he countered stand for ‘sheker’ falsehood, ‘Yeshu’, ‘tihiye’. Jesus is false.
His point, just as what I have just said based on a few letters, is nonsense, so, their claims are equally ridiculous.

Since you have never learned from the Orthodox Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11, you have NO clue what this verse ACTUALLY means!
You need to realize, research, and accept, that NO FURTHER SCRIPTURES (i.e. NO "NT") were given to mankind by God AFTER Mt. Paul was more than a "bad faith actor." As you, Rabbi, have pointed out (and I can show anyone many more examples right there, screaming out at you, in his letters) Paul was a prodigious liar. I was stunned one day to hear a pastor tell his congregation that Paul was the most morally upright person who has ever lived. Stunned, I tell you! A deep dive into the NT writings plainly reveals what a vile person Paul was. And no one with any common sense wanted anything to do with him. I believe Hashem is also using him to allow non Jews (I identified as a Christian for almost 30 years. Around 6 years ago I left. I'm a Noahide now]) who were searching for the truth to learn. Even when I was a Christian I knew it wasn't right but it was "comfortable" I had to leave because my burning and hunger for the truth wouldn't allow me to stay. I hope to convert to Judaism but must move to where an orthodox synagogue is. Even if I'm never able to convert I still KNOW Judaism is the truth and will worship Hashem until I die.

First of All, we do not worship "A Religion", we worship a GOD who saved us from our own sinful nature through the sacrifice of Our LORD CHRIST. We follow the teachings of JESHUA,the heart of the Law or Torah, that we should love GOD with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
What we can take out of the books written in the Tanack is that Israel has been under GOD's judgement throughout scripture keeping his promise to Abraham that GOD would offer protection and land to him and his descendants, but they must follow the path of God not entitled to "ALL" but a "REMNANT" who remain faithful and has received the truth and received grace from the living GOD. You seem far from the GOD of Israel as your words do not speak truth.
JESHUA foretold that not one stone of your temple would stand, as your sacrifices are a stench unto the ETERNAL. "HE IS" the temple and the ONLY way to the FATHER
We bless Israel for the savior was borne out of the tribe of David whose kingdom there would be no end and he will reign over the house of Jacob FOREVER.
The prophet Micah5:2 stated that from Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
You are right, you will have a temple and you will have a Messiah but it will be an evil incarnate of satan and he will declare himself GOD and desecrate the place where GOD wrote his NAME. These are perilous times called Jacob's trouble.@@PazPinhasRahamim9220

@ramirochavera, Is. 65:1: "I allowed Myself to be sought by those who did not ask; I allowed Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me, I said, "Here I am; here I am!" to a nation not called by My name."
This refers to the Jews scattered among the Gentiles, such as to Babylonia and Assyria (Gentile nations that did not call on God's name). God returns and restores these scattered Jews (who are the remnant) back to Israel., and through the remnant the nation of Israel thrives again. The restoration of the Jews is the major theme of Isaiah, particularly in the final chapters (60-66). Verse 9 establishes the identity of the remnant Jews: "And I will extract seed (descendants) from Jacob and from Judah, the heir of My mountains, and My elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there." It has nothing to do with Christianity/Christians. That's not Isaiah's theme.

    • @ramirochavera2437
      @ramirochavera2437 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Misinterpreting the text is usually the case. Isaiah 65 is referring to those that were not his chosen, a gentile nation, not the Jews taken into exile because this was GOD's judgement for their rejection of him. Isaiah references back to Israel, a rebellious people who continue to refuse to turn away from their sin and continue to say I am too Holy and my practices will be sufficient. And this continues until this day @@psandbergnz

    • @psandbergnz
      @psandbergnz ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@ramirochavera2437 , thanks for your reply, but you misunderstand the text. If the text referred to Jesus or the NT, then you should be able to point to some Christological evidence in the text indicating this. Can you do so? Do you find implied in the passage redemption through the blood of messiah or faith in messiah? That is the essence of Christianity, but where is it even hinted at there?
The context of all the surrounding chapters is about the return of the Jews to Israel/Judah from exile, where generations of Jews had started to forget God's name. But God knows who His people are, and calls them back, as He reveals Himself to them once again.
The obstinate people (verse 2) are the rebellious Jews who had brought God's wrath upon Israel, resulting in the Exile. But God's covenant with Israel is everlasting, so He does not abandon them to die out in exile, but saves a remnant to bring back. This remnant is the descendants of _Judah_ (verse 9), not Gentiles, and they will possess "my mountains". Sharon and the valley of Achor (verse 10) are cities of Israel. So the descendants of Judah (the Jews) inherit those lands again, whereas the former rebellious Jews have now died out. Christians do not inhabit those places - Jews do. It's all focused on Israel/Judah, not foreign lands (where the Gentiles live). God's "holy mountain" (verse 11) is Jerusalem.
It's about the Jews, not the Gentiles. The Gentile nation referred to in verse 1 is where the Jews were scattered, and their knowledge of God had dissipated. But God does not forget them.
WHERE IS THE CONTEXT FOR CHRISTIANITY IN THE PASSAGE?

If the Jewish law was truly salvific, Jews would be evangelizing with desperation and urgency. Now of course most Christians aren't evangelizing with the urgency and longsuffering as that of the apostles in the 1st century most unfortunately. But, never has there been a religion of such gatekeeping and pedigree as Judaism. I say this, and also I must say that to those who are unwilling to re-evaluate the Trinity as not being polytheist and pagan, you will likely really never be willing to think with even an iota of abstraction, depth of meaning, introspection. Do you even see the symbolic intricacy of Torah? Although I consider Moses to be the gold standard text among all religion as the true creed to monotheism. What do you think the manner for which God has conducted himself in relation to his creation has been? In the spirit, as God is outside of creation, the unmoved mover, Ancient of Days, coming into creation conveying his divine person through his Holy Ghost. Also incarnate fighting with your father Jacob, in visiting with Abraham with two of his angels. Is the a binitarian expression of our Lord what has been ministered unto us? Moreso, as the incarnation stands before Adam and Eve in the garden I know very well that I see the trinity in the Books of Moses. I see Christ the King. I see the divine person without any doubt or blaspheming, undeniably in the Spirit of the Lord. I believe God dictated every lick of the Torah, and providently guided the ministry of Moses and Aaron oh so deliberately. But God's true testament is decisive, will he have mercy, in the face of our grievous trespass? Will he redeem creation? Can we really be reconciled with the Holy and the Divine, with a simple forgive and forget? With a participation trophy? No in the blood of Jesus I repent and am washed, and reconciled. As per Jesus' insistence, His command, His offering. I mustn't any longer trespass, in Christ I can grow in grace for he has bore my burden, and I am new and being sanctified. In the only true mercy, and the only valid justification. I am in the deepest debt, I've been grafted back onto the tree of life, but at the highest and most incomprehensible cost. For David trusted and commended himself into the hands of God's mercy, in the face of danger, he was fortified in faith, does God not heed him? God destroys death. It happened in 33ad. @@abc_6

The critical component of this review is thinking and treating Paul as a "Christian or Catholic" teacher. Which is what THEY did to him. if he was a decorated pharisee taught by Gamaliel, why is there no consideration for his actual understanding of tanahk. He does have a mastery of torah and doesn't teach against any of the commandments or traditions. But the christians and catholics do.
He obviously talking about alot of things that many didn't understand and felt it was worth getting beaten for his faith over and over again.. it says something.
and Tov suggesting he's utterly unclean and a destroyer of torah is again, like he loves to do, a gross oversimplification and should be directed at Christianities later faults and not to Paul/Shaul.

Another point to consider is the question of how to write and speak of things whose understanding is beyond our grasp. Philippians 3 13~3 15 "I may have yet to grasp it yet, but this I know, to give my heart to the Lord and move positively towards my heavenly reward." It's a lovely coincidence that the verse numbers center on Pi's presence. Images of Pi and Christ appeared within our home, leading to the discovery of a mapping of space and time that matches Einstein and Rosen's pragmatic and deterministic view of quantum science. The big surprise to everyone, is that this naturalistic, mechanical explanation matching Einstein also shouts out Christ Jesus. Nobody saw it coming. The world is gob-smacked.

But the idea of going ahead of the Jews concerning the circumcision and commandments and teaching that he was more superior than those who are scholars and no there God!! You can say he was out of touch!! Remember in life everyone is always learning!! However, The best policy is not to become aggressive or disrespectful to someone who is very much learned in their holy book!! It's not our Job in life to quarrel or wrestle with others about what we think to be correct!! But be humble and learn to listen and understand our differences on things but remain peaceful and let things work themselves out!! Having a good attitude and perspective!

Rabbi, I recently listened to one of your podcasts regarding Paul. My personal opinion is this. The Greeks were basically beginning to accept the concept of Judaism and monotheism but they couldn’t accept the faith hook, line and sinker for a number of reasons.
A big problem was circumcision. They objected to the disfigurement of the body. They didn’t like kashrut because they didn’t really want to change their diet and way of life. And then there is the commandment to keep the Sabbath as well
As other commandments that are either difficult or unappealing.
Paul couldn’t change Judaism to suit the Greeks but Christianity was new and more malleable. So he came up with a simple basic concept that God ( Jesus) died for your sins so it was no longer necessary to observe the commandments, or at least the ritualistic commandments as you pointed out. This isn’t particularly logical but the Greeks bought it and adopted Christianity.
I am a secular Jew. I don’t know but maybe you wouldn’t even consider me a Jew but I was born of a Jewish mother so that makes me Jewish.
Here’s the thing. I can understand the objection to circumcision. It seems barbaric and it is painful. It’s a sign of the covenant between God and the Jewish people yet it sounds like some kind of cult practice. A day of rest sounds pleasing but the rules of how to keep the Sabbath don’t make any sense in a modern world. One can’t drive. I am 72 and it’s a lot easier to drive than to walk but driving is work while walking isn’t. I could go on but I don’t think it’s necessary.
I don’t know but my thinking on the ritualistic aspects seems more in line with the Christian’s than with Orthodox Jews. I don’t believe Jesus died for anybody’s sins but I do question the need to continue to blindly follow rituals. And also, considering all the atrocities in the world especially the many many committed in the name of religion I find it hard to believe there is a God. Would a living merciful God really permit such things to happen?
Basically, my question is why should we continue to observe commandments pertaining to ritual?

Paul opposing Peter to his face didn’t mean him going against Peter on everything. That passage is clearly about Paul CORRECTING Peter for he was mistaken in that one particular scenario. The apostles knew that they weren’t infallible hence there were many recorded instances of them debating and correcting one another on Christ’s doctrines. Paul himself consulted the Jerusalem apostles when he was questioning his own path in the gospel truth-Galatians 2:2. He didn’t go against the gospel preached to the Jews. The Jerusalem apostles didn’t preach circumcision. They met to discuss the issue that was brought on by erroneous Jewish Christians to instigate controversy among the gentile churches. All the apostles agreed on the doctrine regarding circumcision that after the assembly Peter along with the other Jerusalem apostles, sent emissaries with Paul back to the gentiles with a letter that clearly stated what was required for their faith and it did not include circumcision-Acts 15:28
There is no such thing as Paul’s gospel. Many times he explained what he preached wasn’t his own. It would be hard to understand for someone who hadn’t grown in knowledge. Paul in the New Testament arguably had more knowledge about what freedom through faith meant compared to Peter. So much so that Peter even had to be reminded what the new covenant teaching was about eating unclean meats in Acts 10:15. Even then it didn’t mean that they were against each other. Paul was just given more knowledge according to the spirit as he clearly demonstrated in 1 Corinthians 8:8

Paul rebuked Peter for doing the same thing that he himself does. Paul saw an opportunity to gain power over what he calls "a so-called pillar of the church" (James, Peter, etc. who Paul disliked). He didn't even know Jesus, so his gospel is exactly "his" gospel

The idea that the apostles are divided and conniving against one another is malicious. Even though the 12 apostles to the Jews and the 2 to the gentiles each had their own ministries, they were one in Christ by ALL means. Evidenced in 2 Peter 3:16 with Peter advocating for Paul and 1 Cor 1:12 - 13 with Paul advocating for unity in Christ. You are wrong about Paul. It’s your word against his. GALATIANS 1:12.

@@OpieApproved Paul admits that he never knew Jesus. That wasn't speculation. Peter didn't write anything in the New Testament, he was a poor, illiterate Jewish fisherman who spoke Aramaic from Galilee. Unless you mean to speculate that he somehow learned how to write and read Greek. Now about your point on Paul's call for unity-this is the kind of thing that critical scholars see as an issue with Paul. In one breath he will call for unity, yet in another he will say that the original disciples of the historical Jesus (James, Peter, Simon, etc) are "so-called pillars of the church" and "what they are means nothing to me" and "I worked harder than any of them." When you read Paul's letters without rose-colored glasses, he is clearly someone who was or struggled with toxic narcissistic behaviors and sentiments. he "becomes all things to all people" (which is unethical, manipulative, and non-Jewish) yet rebukes Peter for doing the same thing. He also rebuked Peter *publicly*, when Paul himself told his followers to rebuke someone privately at first. his interpretation of the Hebrew Bible is contradictory and dishonest, taking passages out of context just to suit his rhetoric and propaganda.

@@RealAmericanSicko Are we reading the same book? Paul admits he never knew Jesus? In what epistle? In contrary, look up 1 Corinthians 15:7-8. And while you’re at it examine 1 Cor 15:11 so what he said about him “working harder than all of them” in 1 Cor 15:10 would make sense. Your comprehension is rather incomplete. You’re citing parts of a verse that are comparative in nature and not matter-of-fact. They were in support of THE message and not the message themselves. I don’t wear any glasses when I’m reading scriptures. I read them for their message. I scrutinize them. I cross reference them. I evaluate their truth. It’s how I test the spirit in them as was advised by the apostles. It took me a while to agree with Paul because like what Peter said a lot of his writings were difficult to understand for anyone who’s young in knowledge. You have so many mistaken statements that can each be corrected according to scriptures but to save time I picked the most obvious ones like your statement about Peter not writing anything in the NT. I just cited his 2nd epistle in my previous response. But for your enrichment here are proofs: 1 Peter 1:1, 2 Peter 1:1.

@@OpieApproved 1 Corinthians is Paul claiming that the *resurrected* Jesus appeared to him (which may have been true-he could have had a dream or some other spiritual experience. It is irrelevant to the Hebrew Bible because if anyone for any reason claims that anyone but YHVH is God, then it is idolatry and is therefore forbidden to the Israelites / Jews). 1 Cor 15 is not proof that Paul knew Jesus prior to his death. I could tell you to look up Bart Ehrman, Richard Carrier, Dennis McDonald, etc., but the top issue that Christians have in seeing the truth about Paul is that you all take him at his word on everything. You believe he was a Pharisee because he says so. You believe he rebuked Peter for good reasons because he says so. But the story doesn't add up when you look at the details. And Paul contradicts himself a lot because he was willing to take verses from the Hebrew Bible out of context and change their meaning to suit his needs and his message. The original disciples of Jesus were Jews from Galilee and they didn't consider Paul a legitimate apostle (keep in mind that when they looked for Judas' replacement in the Book of Acts, they looked for someone who was with them "since the baptism of John". Paul didn't meet the criteria)

For example, Suetonius mentions that Emperor Claudius exiled Jews who were causing riots in Rome because of "the instigator Chrestus.". Christ is deliberately misspelled by Suetonius. These are very crafty authors. Read Pliny's letter to Trajan. Pliny was instrumental in historicizing the early Church, which was invented by Roman elites to supercede Judaism. If we can only know G-d through being bestowed with the Holy Spirit than we do not have free choice.
      Regarding knowing Moses and his Torah are true;
G-d reveled himself directly to the Israelites. He also directly showed them that Moses is his messenger.
(G-d existence was not proved based on miracles and Moses status as a prophet was not proved based on miracles. G-ds commandments taught by Moses were not proven to be from G-d through miracles.)
Revelation happened to 600,000 plus ppl.
These ppl were commanded to tell their children exactly what they saw.
As Deuteronomy 4 says: they saw no image and only heard G-ds voice. This is what they are commanded to pass down to their children.
This is how they know G-d.
(Deuteronomy 13 (and last verse in 12 from Christian bibles) states that if an individual claims to be a messenger from G-d and even performs a sign (miracle) yet he either adds or removes laws or tells you to follow a G-d we do not know - he is a false prophet)
The 600,000 plus ppl passed down to their children all that they saw and that Moses taught to them.
The best generation who did not witness revelation themselves had ample witnesses that it was true. They in tune passed it to the next generation and so on.
Each generations multiple sources were witness to the previous generations teachings.
There were also leaders who insured that the teachings were passed down and were responsible that all the information was completely taught to the successor.
(Eventually the teachings that were passed down and taught in schools was recorded into the mishna and then the teachings in the mishna were recorded into the Talmud)
      In very short;
In Judaism we have our mesorah (our passed down teachings starting straight from Moses) that affirms our faith and beliefs and knowledge of G-d and his commandments.
Perhaps as an individual who subscribes to a belief and teachings like the New Testament that is not meant for a specific ppl this concept is hard to understand.
      Have a good day

A parent’s obligation to teach their child everything. From a to z.

In Judaism studying and understanding G-d and his commandments is number one.
      It comes before secular education.
      And is taken extremely seriously.
There is also the concept of studying for the sake of studying (as opposed to for the sake of knowing and doing )
There are many individuals who dedicate their life to studying the Torah.

Throughout the Torah and the prophets WE KNOW that Judaism accepts converts from those of the nations who come to faith in the One and ONLY Creator of Heaven and Earth. Our prophet Ezekiel in Chapter 47:22-23 laid out the words of YKVK so well that there can be no confusion that everyone who comes to faith in YKVK becomes as the native-born Israelite WITH INHERITANCE within the tribe he dwells with. Did Paul obey this command of YKVK? No. Ask yourself why Paul had to make a long trip out of Israel to Damascus to hunt down and kill Jews who believed Yeshua was the Messiah? Weren't there enough Jews who followed Yeshua in Israel he could kill??? If you are thinking something doesn't add up here you are thinking correctly. Believing someone is the promised Messiah of Israel is no sin, and certainly not an offense punishable by death according to Torah. What the hell was this Paul actually doing? [ to be continued ]

I think the critical document for understanding non Paulines is the Didache fragment. It shows a unitarian "Christianity" that predates the Pauline Binitarian and Trinitarian variants. God the Father alone is supreme, Jesus is an exalted servant, a prophet like David. The cup of wine and the breaking of bread was obviously a variation on the Sabbath Meal with messianic apocalyptic influence. The actual disciples were spreading their understanding of Judaism to both Jews and non Jews. Then Paul came into the picture and everything went off the rails.

Medicine got better, but it takes time. The Gospel is also something that was revealed through time. Paul became Christian after Jesus resurrection, therefore, he was no longer under the Law. He was under the Grace of my Lord Jesus. Paul, just like Jesus, was persecuted by Jews. E.g. "They promised that they would not eat or drink anything until they killed him. 13More than 40 men took part in this plan." Don't get me wrong, I love the Jews. I just see that Paul was hated in the past because he was preaching the salvation through Jesus Christ.

I just don't follow the significance of Rabbi Singer's criticism of Paul's take on Jesus' resurrection (I Corinthians 15:3-9). The claim is that Paul was a maverick for making up "his own unique version of Christianity" by suggesting Jesus rose in spirit, contradicting the gospel narratives that Jesus rose in physical body! In I Corinthians 15:3-9 Paul speaks of Jesus' physical death and burial, but then he states Jesus afterward "appeared" to the disciples, then 500 others, then to Paul himself, the former appearing to agree perfectly with the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John).
If you read further down (I Corinthians 15:12-17), Paul repeatedly speaks of the Jesus being "raised from the dead," so I just don't understand the contradiction the Rabbi is trying to make? If Jesus appeared to the disciples, 500 others, and Paul himself, it seems he is referring to a physical reality that can be seen! But to be clear, whether the resurrected body is spiritual or physical (probably both), the bible is clear in the book of Revelation 21:3-4: "And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God himself will be among them, and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."
As an aside, the Old Testament also alludes to this in Isaiah 35. Verse 10 reads: "And the ransomed of the Lord will return and come with joyful shouting to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away!"

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 directly quotes Jesus in saying to break the bread and drink the wine..so that just doubly contradicted you. He DID quote Jesus, and the only thing found in 1 Cor. 11 re. the Lord's Supper that you find objectionable was direct quote from Jesus' LIFE here..and it was Jesus who instituted it, Paul merely repeated it, Paul did not invent it. Most of us Christians believe Jesus' words re. the Lord's supper are spiritually symbolic, not literal. You are referring to the beliefs of the false unbiblical Catholic church who preach what Timothy calls in NT "doctrines of demons", such as forbidding marriage (i.e. of priests, and we all know how much damage and corruption that caused)..
The Apostle Paul also said in Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." So yes the law meant MORE than merely types and shadows. The New Testament regularly refers to New Testament writings as "scripture". It is OUR Scripture, in addition to the Hebrew Bible. You will just have to get over your offense lol..we would be offended with your attitude toward us and our beliefs if we didn't love you so much!!🤗❤❤ Paul is not LYING, he is re-interpreting passages of the Hebrew Bible in the context of his Christian beliefs. He clearly believed it meant something more for the AD context. Paul did believe in what Jesus taught, which was REPENTANCE for sins, so yes it IS New Testament beliefs to turn from transgression/sin, thru repentance and then thru power of the Holy Spirit. If you believe in/agree with throwing the apostle Paul in prison, do you believe in throwing Christians in prison too?

09:40 - Incorrect. The physical world is tainted by the flawed material world, which encompasses man-made constructs like the lord in the Old Testament. Distinguishing between the material and physical realms is crucial. Ideally, the material world should be guided by truth, leading to eternal identities, but in reality, false beliefs, such as the fear of God or the idea of God as a Lord, have a significant influence.
The Truth manifested within the material narrative through the character of Jesus, employing the very tool that Satan used to divert us from the truth. While the Old Testament represents the material world, the Truth entered it to expose its deceptions and reveal the path to redemption and enlightenment.

The word in Tankah Jewish scripture is not fulfilled by Paul changing the word of God.
Example 1 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is by explaining that the Hebrew word seed in Scripture is like the English word sheep to show how Paul changed the word of God when Paul claimed in Galatians 3:16 that the Hebrew word seed in scripture (Torah Genesis 17:7 and Genesis 22:18) means one person and therefore must be about Jesus because if it was about more than one person Scripture would have used the word seeds (however in Hebrew the word seeds does not exist meaning “seeds” never appears in Hebrew scripture). The reasoning of Paul is the same as someone claiming that the English word sheep means one sheep because if it was about more than one sheep then the word used would be sheeps. (The word sheeps does not exist in English like the word seeds does not exist in Hebrew). God uses Paul to test who will follow the word of God and who will follow Paul in the test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.
      .
Example 2 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is by explaining how Paul changed the word of God when Paul claimed in 1 Corinthians 9:9 - 10 that the commandment in Torah Deuteronomy 25:4 “do not muzzle an ox” is really about humans and not animals. God uses Paul to test who will follow the word of God and who will follow Paul in the test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.
      .
Example 4 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is by explaining how Paul changed the word of God when Paul claimed the sacrifice of Jesus took away the sins of the world and therefore Jesus removed animal sacrifices.
God tells us that when the Temple that is described in Ezekiel chapters 40 to 47 is constructed it will include the animal sacrificial system as it did in the Solomon Temple (the first temple) and the Herod Temple (the second temple) and that in the Ezekiel temple (the third temple) the messiah will bring sacrifices for himself and for the people. God uses Paul to test who will follow the word of God and who will follow Paul in the test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.
      .
Example 5 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is by explaining how Paul changed the word of God when Paul claimed the anointed messiah is both a King and a High priest in Hebrews 4:14. An anointed messiah king descends biologically from David however an anointed messiah High priest descends biologically from Aaron meaning the anointed messiah king cannot descend from both David and Aaron meaning an anointed messiah king cannot do the duties of an anointed messiah High priest. God uses Paul to test who will follow the word of God and who will follow Paul in the test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.

Paul taught the church how to change the word of God.
The word of God is not fulfilled by wrong Christian translations of Tanakh Jewish scripture.
Example 1 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians understand that Psalm 22 mentions the lion three times in the Hebrew scripture and in most Christian translations but was wrongly translated in the Christian produced Septuagint Bible in Psalm 22:16 as “they pierced my hands and my feet” instead of the Hebrew Psalm 22:17 “like a lion they (my enemies, the enemies of King David) are at my hands and my feet.” The lion and the animals mentioned in Psalm 22 represent the enemies of King David.
      .
Example 2 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians by explaining Psalm 40:6 in a Christian Bible (which is Psalm 40:7 in the Tanakh Jewish scripture) is not about Jesus because the Hebrew words “My ears you have opened” were wrongly replaced with the Greek words “A body you have prepared for me.”
      .
Example 3 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians understand why Psalm 110:1 in Tanakh Jewish scripture is not about Jesus is by explaining that after messiah King David said “My God my God why have you forsaken me” in Psalm 22 then God revealed through Prophet Nathan in Psalm 110:1 “My Lord (God) said to my lord (messiah King David)” words that show God has not forsaken the messiah King David.
      .
Example 4 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is by explaining Isaiah 7:14 in Tanakh Jewish scripture is not about Jesus because the Hebrew word young women in Isaiah 7:14 was wrongly translated as Virgin.
      .
Example 5 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is explaining that the child Hezekiah named mighty God who “has been born” in Isaiah 9:5 in the Tanakh Jewish Bible was made into Jesus by writing “shall be born” in Isaiah 9:6 in Christian produced bibles.
      .
Example 6 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is explaining that Isaiah 53 in the Tanakh Jewish scripture is not about Jesus but is an explanation of the past and present and future of the children of Israel.
      .
Example 7 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is explaining that the New Covenant in Jeremiah chapter 31 in the Tanakh Jewish scripture is not about the New Testament Bible but is the confirming and strengthening of the first everlasting covenant with a new promise that in the end of days the law Torah Taurat will be put in the human heart permanently meaning in the end of days which are the days of God no human will intentionally rebel against God.
      .
Example 8 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians is explaining that the son in Isaiah 7:14 is not Jesus but is the son of Prophet Isaiah.
      .
Example 9 of Muslims and Jews and Noahides helping Christians by explaining that Zechariah 12:10 in the Tanakh Jewish scripture is not about the death of Jesus by crucifixion but about how a loved one who is killed with a sword in the battle between Israel and Gog will move all Israel to remember God and this will bring the defeat of Gog and will bring the messianic age.

Mysteria in Greek mean a secret ritual that is open to a limited set of people and about wich is forbidden to communicate to other people. It is evident that Paul uses this term in a very different meaning.

Hi, I would have to question Tovia's statement that the Gospels were written 20 - 30 or even 40 years after Paul's writings - because the last Book of the New Testament was written Just prior to Mid 66 AD.
The Wikipedia article titled, 'Book of Revelation' wrongly dates the book of Revelation to having been written in the Emperor Domitian's time or around 81-96 AD as this excerpt of the intro shows:
"The author names himself as simply "John" in the text, but his precise identity remains a point of academic debate. Second-century Christian writers such as Papias of Hierapolis, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Melito of Sardis, Clement of Alexandria, and the author of the Muratorian fragment identify John the Apostle as the "John" of Revelation.[5][6] Modern scholarship generally takes a different view,[7] with many considering that nothing can be known about the author except that he was a Christian prophet.[8] Modern theological scholars characterize the Book of Revelation's author as "John of Patmos". The bulk of traditional sources date the book to the reign of the Roman emperor Domitian (AD 81-96), which evidence tends to confirm.[9][d]"
The Actual INTERNAL Evidence within the book of Revelation does emphatically NOT tend to confirm the 81-98 AD dating by secular scholars Nor their completely spurious 'Unknown' John as the Author.
Part of the problem with misinterpretation of numerous passages in the texts - of both Old and New testaments - especially with regard to the flow of prophetic narratives - is the introduction to all bibles, by one of two Roman Catholic Cardinals in the 1200's AD of the completely 'arbitrary' Chapter numbering system which even Scholars and critics state is 'incoherent' in places - in this Wikipedia article, Titled; 'Chapters and verses of the bible' under the heading, 'Christian versions' as follows:
"Cardinal Hugo de Sancto Caro is often given credit for first dividing the Latin Vulgate into chapters in the real sense, but it is the arrangement of his contemporary and fellow cardinal Stephen Langton who in 1205 created the chapter divisions which are used today. They were then inserted into Greek manuscripts of the New Testament in the 16th century. Robert Estienne (Robert Stephanus) was the first to number the verses within each chapter, his verse numbers entering printed editions in 1551 (New Testament) and 1553 (Hebrew Bible).[25]
The division of the Bible into chapters and verses has received criticism from some traditionalists and modern scholars. Critics state that the text is often divided in an incoherent way, or at inappropriate rhetorical points, and that it encourages citing passages out of context. Nevertheless, the chapter and verse numbers have become indispensable as technical references for Bible study."
    ----
Indeed, the numbering systems are or have become indispensable for finding and quoting various texts - however- and herein lies the problem regarding two of the most important books of the bible having been dated to the wrong eras in which the internal evidence shows they were actually written in - most notably the 'Book of Daniel' erroneously dated by scholars to Antiochus IV Epiphanes' era of between 176 - 174 BCE and the Book of Revelation to a much later time than the INTERNAL EVIDENCE of the book of Revelation itself shows in chapter 1 and the 'small book' prophecy of Revelation 10:8 through to its end in 11:2 - where a new prophecy for our modern age begins at Revelation 11:3 through to 11:18 showing the exact timing of the Resurrection of the saints from verses 13-18 at the sounding of the 7th or 'last trump', i.e. Revelation 11:15 - just as Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 & 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17.
The True - internal Dating - of the book of Revelation to Between 65 and Mid 66 AD as follows, below, i.e, Just BEFORE Vespasian and Titus' Military campaigns that began in mid 66 AD and carried through to the Second Temple and Jerusalem's destruction over a period of 3 1/2 years to 70 AD:
Revelation 10:8-11:2's 'small book' prophecy in its entirety - but without the arbitrary and faulty chapter numbering system which also screws up the verse numbering system in many biblical prophecies - not the least of which is Daniel 11:40-45 thought to be 'inaccurate' prophecy by secular scholars in Wikipedia's article titled, 'Book of Daniel'.
"And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:
and the holy city SHALL they tread under foot forty and two months."
Note the future Tense used in the last verse of the - small book - prophecy above, because in Revelation 1:1-3 and 1:11 and 1:19 John is not only commanded to write everything he sees in the present and his future [1:19] in a book [1:11] because 'the time was at hand' [1:3] for the destruction of the second temple to take place [Matthew 23:33 through to 24:26] But to Send that Book to the 7 Asia minor churches still extant at that time - BEFORE THE TEMPLE was destroyed.
The 'abomination of Desolation' Matthew 24:15 & Mark 13:14 was actually Vespasian's Roman Army standing where it ought not to stand, i.e. in the 2nd temple grounds as the 9th chapter 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel foretold from Daniel 9:24-27.
In Revelation 11:2 Jesus apostle John the actual writer/author of Revelation - emphatically does NOT record the destruction of the second Temple as he was commanded to do in Revelation 1:19.
    ------
Just as the scholars are completely wrong about the Dating of the book of Revelation to 81-96 AD when It was completed and sent to Asia minor churches before Mid 66 AD - the secular scholars are also completely wrong about Dating Daniel to 200 BCE or Antiochus IV Epiphanes' era of between 176 and 174 BCE, ironically. on the assumption that Daniel 11:40-45 was a prophecy about Antiochus' Military campaigns and death - When it is perfectly Accurate Prophecy covering Vespasian and Titus' military campaigns and Vespasian's Death instead.
Refer to the Wikipedia article Titled, 'Book of Daniel' under the intro and Subheadings of Historical Background, Development, Authorship and Dating for relevant details of the completely wrong assumptions about the book of Daniel - all based in Daniel 11:45 supposedly being Antiochus' Death When the Vespasian article at wikipedia under the subheading, 'Death' shows very clearly Vespasian did indeed died of natural causes as Daniel 11:45 said he would, i.e. "And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."
    ----
So Revelation being the last book of the Hebrew/English bible written - therefore shows ALL the other gospel books, including Paul's writings - were written before mid 66 AD also. 🙃

As-salamu aleijkum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
I have a question about the circumcision.
I know (now) that also Muslims does it, but I haven't seen it mentioned in the Qur'an and my current opinion if that's the correct word here for it is, that it was done hygiene reasons in old times when it wasn't so easy to take care of your hygiene.
Could you give more insight about this from Jewish perspective, because I believe that it may come from there or was it something what people did in that area (like was it just a habit of that time when there wasn't running water and showers "everywhere".
Also I think that modern knowledge says that everything in human body has a meaning example eyelashes protect your eyes and foreskin also protect your thing from something or was it given to men just so it can be "cut" off?
Thank you and Barak Allahu fikum 🤲🏻

Jews are commanded to circumcise all males on the eighth day after their birth in Leviticus 12:3. Since the descendants of Keturah became intermingled with the descendants of Ishmael, all of them are obligated to circumcise their male children on the eighth day. However, the children of Keturah are not liable to punishment by a court for not observing this commandment, since it is not part of the Seven Noahide Commandments.

you say Pauls audience was non jews, but he was always speaking in the synagogues of the cities he traveled to; i would also like to say ive always had problems with the way old testament scriptures seemed to be taken out of context by new testament writers. what was the intended meaning of a verse was it translated correctly etc.Its all very frustrating when your just trying to honor and respect GOD

On the contrary. Paul as an Orthodox Jew will unlikely do such changes unless he experienced something supernaturally good, moving and life-changing event personally with someone Divine like Jesus telling him to do so 🙏✝️ . And by the way the correct term is abrogation because he didn't corrupted anything he just debunked the Jews of their hypocrisy of understanding the laws. 💯✔️👍
