One of my fave Olivia moments. She didn't hesitate to save Kathy and the baby. And she stayed with her to keep her calm and support her through her labor.
@@amartyaroy3754That and the fact that she had had Elliot’s back for YEARS at this point. Olivia was Elliot’s work wife. I’m sure she had been to dinner at the Stabler home and hung out with them many times. She and Elliot were partners but were also friends. She saved Elliot’s tail more than once and vice versa. I’m sure Olivia talked about Elliot with Kathy a lot. A fellow woman she can talk about her husband with who would get it and isn’t a romantic threat, jackpot. Elliot and Olivia are platonic soulmates to me.
Right I liked their dynamic, I was so sad when I heard how they ruined Cathy's character to make Stabler and Benson a thing 😢 they should've just killed her while she was still good and happy with her husband instead of after the mess they made kmt. Stabler being a sad and broken widow with kids and a baby to care for would've been the perfect way to bring him and Benson close without betraying the wife or her character kmt. Not turn her into some random psycho killer that blackmails him to stay with her! Like tf! Heck even them growing apart and divorcing wouldve worked fine!! They would get into arguments about his job anyway, maybe one day she just cant do it anymore and files maybe she also blames the closeness to benson in the midst of it, but once it was over and done they all manage to become friends again, she finds a nice man, and maybe she then encourages stabler to finally make a move on benson, now that shes happy she wants her ex happy too. All those good ways to get a bunch of relatable drama out of the characters while still keeping them true to what we liked about them, whilst also making room for a stabler benson ship to sail!! Why on earth did they do it the way they did its so stupid!! Tbf I heard the newer episodes just got wilder and dramatic loosing any of the gritty realism that these earlier seasons got 😪 and yet the newer ones are the ones available on streaming!!! Kmt Im gonna have to do some dvd hunting!
. You know that is a myth, right? She was wearing a wig at the time, so all those pictures of her "head" on the road is just her wig lying where it had fallen.
Well, Eli would definitely would like to hear that story. I mean I hope he knows the story and how we should be grateful that Olivia was there at the time his mother was in a situation, especially considering she was going into labor
I remember this episode, Kathy puts her complete and total faith in Olivia, just like she's her sister. It's really heartwarming to watch the entire thing, because Olivia doesn't hesitate at any point to be wherever Kathy needs her to be.
Ohhhh. You should watch when her son was missing or when she went undercover in a women's prison and was on the verge of being raped. You should see those.
Mariska mom was the famous actress Jayne Mansfield. In 1967 while she was in Mississippi. The car ran in to the back of a Tractor Tralor. Mariska was in the back seat sleeping.@@joewhitehead3
This was such a brilliant episode! I remember watching it for the first time - the accident had made it into the promo for the episode so I knew it was coming, but I still jumped a mile when it happened. Just wish we could have the full scene with them cutting Kathy out of the car and getting her into the ambulance with Olivia.
This was an awesome episode, one of Maria's best ever !!! That car crash is terrifying. No matter how many times I watch it, that crash makes me jump and gasp every time I see it !!!
And just like television, a car hits them in New York, you see people everywhere but Olivia has to wake up from being unconscious to call for help 🙄 Amazing episode though and they never knew what they were foreshadowing here; Olivia helping to save the life of Elliot's wife and unborn child over 12 years before Kathy would die 🤯 Olivia had so much love and loyalty for that family and regardless of what she felt or didn't feel for Elliot, she never disrespected what he had with Kathy. ❤
Bystander effect is a crazy thing. A person doesn’t call 911 because they assume someone else will. Ends up with no one or only one calling 911. That’s why on the rare occasion that I witness an accident I ALWAYS call it in. Just in case no one else does.

It may be a very short time. Some sec only. From my personal experience, as soon as you can you want to move away....and I opened up a door with a broken leg. But stay calm and wait for the rescue is also an option and not an easy one.

staller and olivia are inseperable been together since jump street no way olivia would have failed stabler
Do you know where I can find the whole episode?
I love that Kathy considers Benson part of the family.
Delivering her child definitely earns her that title.

Didn’t one episode he thought he was cheating on her with Olivia because spending so much time with her other then wrk or she jzut being paranoid

At 27:34 is when this scene begins.
Its a subplot, not the main thing.
Thank you!
Thank you so much
thank you!
Youre the best thank you❤😊
Thanks
That little crack in Mariska's voice when she says "don't worry about me!" got to me, she's such a terrific actress.
If Fin didn't tell Stabler about his wife and his partner being in a car accident this would have been going from bad to worse for them

I like Elliott When No Question Just Got In Car
I'm glad Olivia was there to help Kathy and she asked to help out.
This had me in tears.
Me too. And it gets worse since Benson's actress was involved in a tragic accident when she was a little girl. Her mother was killed then.
This was an awesome episode, one of Maria's best ever !!! That car crash is terrifying. No matter how many times I watch it, that crash makes me jump and gasp every time I see it !!!
One of the rare moments, where the subplot is way more interesting than the main plot.

One of the episode that got me on the edge of my seat. If Stabler was there, that guy who caused the accident would not live to see the next day.
Geez Elliot- you can’t get your wife a decent car????? Always Olivia saving your gorgeous self 🥰😂😂😂!!!
They were the ones who got crashed into
I don't think Olivia would drive his car. Plus they got 4 kids they'd at least have an SUV or minivan.
Great ep but omg Olivia moved her head around SO MUCH before they got the neck brace on O.O
There were clearly people standing around. Even in NY someone would run to help
She really cares of stabler and his wife she immediately helped her instead of letting the fire department help her first
