A very good video is the M1 Garand Rifle Training U.S. War Dept. also on my channel. These are Links to companies that sell M1 parts: www.amherst-depot.com,

As great a rifle that has ever been issued to any Soldier
You've got a great collection of M1 Garand education videos here. I appreciate them and thank you. I'm headed out tomorrow to the CMP to purchase my first one.
Hello! Thank you for posting these videos! I'm currently saving up for a HRA service grade rifle. I love the M1 also. I love hearing my grandpa's stories from when he was using the good ol M1.
Hey saw that videos stopped about 9 years ago… is there a new channel or page? Hope he’s still around!
You don't often hear Enya (or Celtic Women) music playing in the background on Garand videos, but it was a nice change of pace! I'm waiting on my first Garand's from CMP now, after waiting years to finally order. I am in the learning curve on these particular weapons, which are decidedly different from the police rifles we use these days. They do have an attachment and place in history that few rifles can claim, and I am a big fan of the era of this awesome type of arm. Thanks for the info.
I'm back watching this video again all I have to say is thanks and I'm so lucky to get my new to me 1943 Garand I love my rifle...
Great video. Thanks
Good video thanks
Thanks for the nice comments. Your feedback is appreciated. The M1 Garand is a classic. Love that rifle.
Great video. Do I hear the exorcist theme?
Does the safety break with normal use that often ?
Its not "Broken", they take it out and snap or cut it off on purpose. There is a ton of info here on TH-cam and on other sites that explain this. I am the armorer for my American Legion post and all 10 of ours have this "modification". We have never had a problem as once modified, the rifle now has one safety rather than the two that the unmodified version offers.
can i buy your m1 garand
When we gave a ton of these rifles to the south african military they broke the safeties on purpose so they could put the weapon in safe even when the weapon isn't in battery, which is a redundant feature in the eyes of the US military.
