  • www.IamJackofAl... Video 2 briefly covers M1 Garand history, ammo, slings, bayonets, and bandoliers. I do have to make some corrections The m2 ball projectile is 150 grs lead core copper jacketed bullet. The late model m5 bayonet I used in the video was not issued until 1953.

lucky you! nice find. Not many of those around any more. Regarding you question, all M1 30 cal rifles were built using the same specifications therefore a Springfield, Winchester, IHC, or H&R are all the same except where they were built and the company that was licensed to build them. The only differences you will find will be early production specs to late production specs. For example the rear sight, the trigger guard, the gas plugs, firing pin,op rod catch etc. Good Shooting.....Trades

The best M1 videos I have seen! I just received a 1955 H&R M1 all original parts with a gorgeous bore. I cannot to stop shooting it. I was just wondering, what are the differences between the Springfields and the H&Rs?

Love your videos on the G- rand daddy of all rifles !!!! I bought a Winchester Garand on gunbroker !!! It was rather pricey but no regrets buying it !!! All original parts and mostly Winchester parts at that some SA and HRA parts !!!! Why did they mix rifle parts ? Is it because they broke down after perhaps heavy use in the field !!!
