    4:00 If you don't understand the system, it's very difficult to fix it. Gallery pressure is just the pressure in the pipework, not the tank or the airsprings.
    5:00 My guess is your air drier is blocked.
    Soapy water spray is the best way to find a leak.
    The drier still needs a service.

    I repaired my brothers LandRover, one of the plastic pipes had worn though. It had a microscopic pin hole and took hours to find.
    The compressor and drier where in a right state but I managed to get it all working.

    I have the same Range Rover but just a 2008 and it’s a Canadian version with left hand drive, I had a suspension fault come up and found a wire hanging down on the driver side wheel area and have no clue to where it leads too on the breaks or anything.

    I don't blame you for refusing to buy used parts, its a real pain if the parts are faulty. I bought a Haas sensor from Europarts as they did not stock the Bosch sensor. I had endless trouble until I bought genuine a Bosch sensor. It took a while to find the problem as no fault codes came up.

    Hi. I have a 06 Range Rover sport. The light you are showing has started coming on after about 20mins of driving. But today when I started it you hear the sound of compressed air escaping for about 10 / 15 seconds then stop’s. Is it dangerous for me to continue to drive.

    Hello, I have a range rover sport supercharged 2008, I got a suspension fault and I changed the compressor with a Chinese product, The error gon BUT after 2 months (warranty also only 2 months) came again with raising slowly, I think I should to replace it again, right? if yes can you please advise me on which brand I have to use, the original is very expensive

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Other than the original, anything else is a bit of a hit and miss...
      That said, make sure you don't have any other leaks or issues...
      As if you do, that could be putting too much stress on the compressor, reason why it might only lasted for 2 months...

      @LMAutoRepairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Prorok7878
      Yes...
      What I believe it happened, as explained, was that the leak made the compressor to run for longer periods of time than it should, ended up damaging it... so, only once the leak was sorted, that I realised there was also a problem with the compressor...

    hi LM Auto Repairs ! is there any benefit if i reset the ECU and then reprogramming it again to the car ?? I have an astra van 1.7cdti 2004 and i found a glitch at acceleration pedal sensor.i checked all outputs on that sensor and all values seem to be ok,but when i scan the app1 ans app2 there is a voltage fall on app2. do you have any idea what can be wrong??thx!

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check connections, etc...
      If the voltage falls, either a bad voltage supply, or a bad pedal... you might be missing the spot where the pedal is failing... remember that the ecu is constantly monitoring those values...
      You can try to reflash if you have the means... nothing to loose...

Now I have a problem again with my air suspension compressor! It keeps running even without the key in it. It stays running. Now I take the battery of. Yesterday the relay, one air suspension left front and the valve block on the front passengers side i replace for new. Compressor keeps running. Check the compressor and the air tank with soap water and no leak. The pipe line front wheel also no leak. I don't know what to do anymore. Can you give me tips. I am tired 😫 😩 😴.

    Good video! I'm sure I'm not telling you anything but with the maxisys viewing live data you can select the parameters you want to watch and hit "top" and it will put them at the top so you don't have to keep scrolling back and forth to see them. I think there is a limit but off the top of my head I am not sure what that is. Maybe 4 parameters. Keep up the good work!

    Your videos are very interesting and educational. Thank you for making them.
    On this video, I wonder if the compressor, although showed signs of water, which is not unusual, was the root cause of the issue. It would have been interesting to have seen the voltage at the compressor checked when the compressor was running. Based on what the relay looked like (corrosion, and assumed one of those relays was for the compressor), that may have been why the compressor could not get the pressure up to where it should be. Ensuring the compressor voltage was as it should be when compressor running, would have been a good idea before removing/changing the compressor. Just my opinion.
    Finally, since you changed both the compressor and the relay, we do not really know for sure. Still, a good video and changing the compressor did not hurt anything given the age of the car. It probably needed changing even if the relay was the problem.
    Thanks again for making these videos. I know it is time consuming and not easy to do.
