I own the 500 now too but same problem with mapping on my Joystick, mostly I think in the sensitivity settins. I copied another rotor fan but it still flys like its piloted by a drunk! Try the settings from TH-cam 500 sim pilots, a lot share. I think one has to play with the sensitivity settings, try it, tweak it, fly, tweak it..etc. If you find success please....let me know. Im on pc/xbox
Thanks so much! All axes have Sensitivity and Dead Zones at Zero and Reactivity at 100%. All axes are managed by LTN dedicated boards facebook.com/TLNElettronica/ as shown at the beginning of this video there is no assistance, I hope I helped you
Hey! Great video! Just wondering where you got your collective. If you don’t know it all good! I am just in the market for a collective and trying to find a store
Hello and thank you, I built my collective myself, with the entire motorized Autotrim system and hydraulic clutch, this is a video I made some time ago:th-cam.com/video/k4l5Map96hg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hi3KzPFiKUxxG9hh I bought the 3D print of the handle from microhelis.de , but honestly I'm not satisfied, there are many parts that are printed crudely and the quality of the material is poor. I'll be resin printing one soon. If you want to build it yourself you could follow this guy: th-cam.com/video/FVQ8w8BwIzM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZtcwL0apmOG44Wde he sells the whole project to print with videos for assembly, maybe I'll buy his Ciclico project. I hope helped you 👍
Nice flying! Noticed that the real life cyclic movement in your hand is not fully replicated in the sim. You noted the the curves are linear, so was just wondering. Have you landed on top of the bridge with the flag yet?😊
Hi, the 3D model does not replicate the exact movement of each joystick, in my case I use a dedicated electronic board on a thrustmaster joystick with FSUIPC and SpadNext Software, in some MSFS models the Bank seems freezed, however it is possible to rewrite the 3D model to improve it...
Ciaoo, l'ho preso anche io però non l'ho ancora aggiornato; hai qualche considerazione? Come ti trovi?
You are very smooth. In my tests all helicopters have tendency to be blown away by wind in a non-realistic way. It seems like wind and torque come into effect the moment you start being light on the skids and they don't affect the aircraft at all while on ground. i.e. if you set strong wind as long as you are stationary it doesn't affect you completely. It can make the rotor turn but that's about it. Have you tested with some wind component also?
Hello, I did some tests with 20 knots of maximum wind. I haven't had much difficulty but I think the damping coefficients need to be adjusted. It does not depend on the helicopters but on the values managed by the simulator. In the video there are about 7/10kts of wind but it does not excessively influence the 'translating tendecy', but if you have a cyclic/joystick with a central spring it can be difficult to set the controls for optimal take off. Obviously it is a helicopter with skids therefore the friction with the ground decreases only when the weight decreases on them, therefore the collective must be added in small steps and you have to wait a few moments to see the reaction of the dynamic flows.
@@zaelu It's a pleasure to help you, write when you want. I recommend using a joystick without spring in the center, so you'll be able to hold the position with less errors.
@@Helicopterx1 I have Thrustmaster F18/Warthog grip+base joystick with a 20cm extension and I can't remove the spring in it without destroying it :D :D but at some point I will build myself a FFB Joystick from a bldc open source project so I will have a proper helicopter stick then :D . @@zaelu Thrustmaster is great! On web there are many solutions of cyclic, collective and pedal controls. Nice, must be a little excited and pleased. 😊

How does this helicopter compare to the X-Plane 500D made by Brett S.? Thanks.
Love the graphics.
