      Thank you, glad you like it! If you want to become a pilot, I would suggest you spend your energy towards proper pilot training. The time and money required to make something like this, is a significant fraction of what is required to becoming a real pilot :) In addition you have the issue of learning bad pilot habits when practising on your own. The Mentour Pilot channel has a video on the topic: th-cam.com/video/l83d_z3GPeo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rpn2AtsnzleLRJc6. Best of luck on your journey towards becoming a pilot!!

    Beware if you ever switch your processor in your computer or upgrade your computer. Most likely you will have to repurchase your prosim license. This happened to me last year when I switched my processor to the biggest one for my motherboard. I decided not to repurchase and I went with airmanager. I cut my 737 displays to fit the whole size of the monitors I have, it now looks more like a more modern cockpit. I then purchased the pmdg and programmed my overhead with spad.next, worked beautifully. then got a virtual cdu for the pmdg and pop out manager to pop out my mfd to a screen. But if you change your computer make sure they don't skunk you... I learned the hard way, but I'm happier now because I fly the pmdg not the prosim version of the plane, no wing flex or good sound package at least when I had it. Take care.

    • @B738DIY
      @B738DIY  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the heads up. I'm sorry to hear that you had issues with prosim. So far I have not had issues upgrading or changing computers. But that is probably dependent on having a active prosim upgrade license, which hasto renewed each year.

    • @braneden
      @braneden 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@B738DIY ok I don't think I had that, as far as I know. I did lose my pfd, nd But realistically I could pop those out from the pmdg as well, but with airmanger and have an old style horizon from a 727 I think and a regular old hsi, then pop out my mfd down in the center area. I'm really satisfied because every switch switches in the pmdg pretty cool but prosim wasn't too bad either. Take care.

I'm using and testing MSFS's experimental feaures to create a three monitor view but even if I get an acceptable result most of the time, some times the views on the screen are mixed and I must to delete it and recreate an this is very annoying.

    Nice work, but be careful with the type of actuators shown in your video. Been there done that and they are too slow. You want something that is powerful enough to easily move body/chair and also do at least 250mmsec. Any slower and it will struggle to keep up with the telemetry data and could even make you feel sick. All the best.

      Thank you. Fortunately the actuators in video are only for manipulating seat position. I have more powerful and faster actuators for moving the whole sim. I posted a video, testing the actuators here: th-cam.com/video/NnleRBV7D40/w-d-xo.html

      Nice. Looks the business. You may have already have this covered, but in regard to a FFB yoke, I have used servo kits from VPforce to build both a powerful yoke and stick. All the best. @@B738DIY

    How much did you spend on this cockpit?

    Unfortunatelyfs2020 is made with the single thread configuration. Which means we are ALL limitedby this. Let's hope the new version has this issue fixed. To see this use development mode.

    Dette var vanvittig kult! Trodde det ikke fantes miljø for sånt i Norge.

      Tusen takk! Jeg vet det er en del simulatorer rundt i Norge, men de fleste holder nok på for seg selv.

    The cockpit itself looks fantastic. I am not so sure about your method of moving the view to the captain viewpoint though. That means that the co-pilot, if you had one, would be getting a very wrong view. I think pro sims have the view centred don't they? Of course thats not realistic either, as it would look like you are crabbing, but its the best comprimise if you have two pilots (as a 737 should).

      Thank you! You are absolutely right that the pilot not flying would get a very wrong view, when the view is "correct" for the pilot flying. That is why I have installed the switch that allows for changing the view. If we are two flying, I change the view to the pilot flying during the critical phases for flight, such as takeoff and landing. When we are cruising, I center the view to have equally "bad" for both. In pro simulators they have cross collimated displays that use curved mirror to make the view correct for both pilots. See:

      @B738DIY I hadn't heard of collimated displays. From the looks of it, it's not something most home cockpit builders would attempt. But very cool
