I’m gonna share a story with all Ozzy fans. When I was 13 my house was burned down and my disabled twin almost died. I was dead inside for many years. I blamed myself and I just couldn’t deal with my emotions. I heard this song and I burst into tears. I finally felt like someone in the world understood me. I’ve been to a few ozzfests and I would randomly cry. Now I understand that ozzy got me through the darkest hours.
I just feel he's talking about how being an artist is like being a vessel for whatever vision decides to come to you, probably collective energies that need to be shaped, named and represented by a human being, who has no control over that vision, and he's just being 'used' as a vessel to express it.

He gave me the headset and putted the cd into the player. And turned it on. My love to ozzy‘s music began and never stopped again. Gets me through is - I would say the most powerful song of him with an amazing start - and outro. And a great video.

It was in a dusty small one-room second hand cd store in Vienna when I was offered by the sales man my first Ozzy album (ozzmosis)I didn’t know him before. He gave me the headset and putted the cd into the player. And turned it on. My love to ozzy‘s music began and never stopped again. Gets me through is - I would say the most powerful song of him with an amazing start - and outro. And a great video.
This song was my introduction to OZZY... I believe I was like 14 and saw it on MTV... fell in love immediately... I've been obsessed ever since.. there is no one greater in my eyes... all hail the Prince of Darkness, the Godfather of Heavy metal 🤘🤘❤❤❤🐐
