Never apologize for having a truck running. I'll listen to that multifuel engine run all day long!

Thanks for sharing. One I'd be curious to see (although I am sure many of the steps are similar) would be getting a long-dormant M939 series running.

Andy what engine is it in you 939 series truck, is it the naturally aspirated 855 Cummins or is it that little turbocharged engine? IF its the 855 with no turbo charger its essentially just make sure you fuel is actually fuel that is decent condition, ie. no water, no dirt no dead animals etc, you get my drift. Make sure the batteries in the truck are in good condition, check to make sure its got oil in the crank case and go ahead and fire it up, stay off the throttle and let the engine idle for at least 5 minutes before exceeding 1000 rpm, they start amazingly well if just a couple things are checked before starting. IF you have the turbo charged engine you will want to shut the fuel off at the Injection Pump so you can turn the engine over till you have oil pressure on the gauge then after you see that then go ahead and turn the fuel back on at the IP and start the engine. The PRIMARY concern here is to make sure the turbocharger has oil to it before the engine starts. Last thing is just make sure the fuel is in reasonable condition, if the fuel is shit neither truck is going to do will with it!
      Good luck Andy!

You must have been reading my mind. I have a parts truck that last ran about 10 years ago. The frame is cut behind the cab and it only has 1 rear axle with it. Donnie drove it through the woods before he sold the axles. Still have the rest of the drivetrain with it. I wanted to see if it would run but the fuel tank is not there.

Yes, but I don't know where from. Starter shops still rebuild them so there must be kits.

I do have a 60 amp traducer that was put in though. what would be a good set? Im wanting round ones. Can I hook them straight into the transducer?
