- Not the best run possible I could have gotten but I had a lot of fun with this and I wanted to showcase that the assassins punish is possible on AT Velk.

@@RepublicofODLUM Yep I learned that after watching this video, it comes in handy sometimes. I can’t stand ledges dude, they have gotten me killed before. That’s one positive thing about MHR, they were able to do away with ledges since they added the wirebug. Have you tried Rise yet? Do you not like it ? I see you’re still playing World lol, we’re friends on xbox

Nice work, sub 4 minutes is pretty crazy. Kinda sad to see Velkhana get beat up like this, she’s one of my favorite monsters lol. The opening was awesome, I didn’t know you could hit her with both boulders at the same time

This is a masterpiece bruh, straight up bullying against the hardest monster in the game
Impressive.
While I with Safi spread HBG that has Guard Up, Guard 5 & Shield 3 barely managed to finish the quest in time (needed a piece of the Velkhana Gamma gear). Had a minute or 2 left (30 min quest). Solo (saw that it's a hopeless cause with random SOS).

What is the purpose of clutching to head and then releasing?
When monsters turn to the side and look like they're trying to catch their breath while drooling, they're in a state called the clagger
It lasts for 6 seconds
By clutching onto the monster you extend the clagger for another 6 seconds
Which is why they kinda flinch when you do it

The only nerf to this guy is when he uses his mantles coz the muscles disappear
why does he sometimes attach the hook to the monster and leave?
So the monster stands longer still. That way he can get more time for his next hit. You can watch him only do it when the monster gets thrown back by an attack and drools

Yes I was using felyne heroics. I used all arch tempered Velkhana armor except the arms were Fatalis.
