A Day on the Midland Line

On Friday the 17th of November 2023, I chased the Tranz Alpine train 803 from Christchurch to Greymouth and the chased freight 826F back. Interestingly, DFB 7199 was the second locomotive providing power on the Alpine and I also caught a solo DXC banker locomotive returning to Otira after helping 804 through the Otira Tunnel.
