Yeah the online community for these mewtwo raids has been really good, great to hear you have been having a great time online doing this 7 star raid!! :)
For real, only a few times I came across players who had no idea what they were doing and brought random Pokémon (I assume it was people who had just unlocked 7 Stars Raids and had no idea what they were getting themselves into, judging by the choices).
Alright, I took notes on what you’re supposed to do each turn once you’re in the raid. The sheer determination all you TH-camrs have put to find a way for people without the online subscription to solo this raid is admirable. I'm definitely going to try this method, thank you a lot!
I saw a solo Japanese Skeledirge use lick for paralysis, torch song, hex (not shadow ball) slack off. > Need dunsparce & bellibolt NPC for paralysis during & post shield > Def cheer right before death to get defense buff after revival > Need for lick to paralyze within 2 turns after revival (death triggers boss reset) > If boss can be fully paralysed once so you can get up 2-3 torch song > Post your stat nullification, hope you don't get attacked when unaware is down, and then you can torch song 5-6 times
I actually just got my mewtwo yesterday thanks to your previous guide. I think one of the randos in my winninf attempt had this build. At the very least I remember mud slap. I took less than 10 attempts to get mewtwo so that's nice. I also had a couple instances where someone used electric terrain before the shield broke because electric terrain conpletely prevents sleep which I never knew before
Yo, I just did it with my ice tera Mew with base Iv's and no EVs. Holding the item Mirror herb Move set being dark pulse, x-scissor, crunch, and life dew.
For anyone going for this strategy, I would recomment using silver powder instead of metronome. You never get a chance to use leech life more than 3 times in a row. For just 3 turns both silverpowder and metronome have the same damage output. For only attacking 2 times, silver powder is better. It might have ensured the 2hko on mewtwo in the end where using metronome it lived on a small amount of HP
I've now been trying this strat for 7 hours straight and gotta say, though it is impressive it's even doable it is WAY too RNG specific to be viable. The most you can get hit by nearly anything besides Aura Sphere (which it rarely ever uses) is twice. I've had maybe 5 out of about 40ish runs where Bellibolt actually ever got the para off enough for it to make a difference. Even the team I ran with took 40 minutes alone to get and low and behold, I found out that Clodsire actually ruins the strat if it gets a poison off. I mean you have to go the first ELEVEN turns only getting hit twice. If you get fully frozen or faint so much as once you reset. They really need to nerf this raid
i’m so glad you can solo it with mew, i recently got a shiny mew in a japanese copy of emerald, and i don’t have the consoles/games to transfer it up for at least a few months, but now i can just keep my switch offline
Kudos to everyone that is able to beat it on 1 September before the guide even exists yet. You guys are real legends. As always, Thank you for posting this! ❤
@@turtle_7777 I did it, but your point stands. I got so immensely lucky in the final few turns, once my stats were cleared (debuffs on Mewtwo were cleared a turn prior). Came down to the AI landing a freeze the exact turn my stats were wiped, which lasted four turns. In which time, my lone Mud Slap forced a crucial miss whilst I was setting up a couple of Bulk Ups (and one Amnesia) to finish it off. If the Freeze didn't happen that EXACT turn, I lose. If it didn't last four turns, I lose. If my single Mud Slap didn't force a miss, I lose. If Mewtwo crits, or freezes me, I lose.
Actually there was already a guide up before the raid even came out so yea... It was in an article about the free Mew and how it'll have random typings for each person, etc. Near the bottom of the article in the last few paragraphs it explained what they would recommend going into the raid... just saying
I dont have friends so I did it online , the first two attempts were painful , the other players literally didnt knew what the heck they were doing ( One flat out brought a Koraidon despite the fact that is a psychic raid ) . But at last the game paird me with 3 japenese player all with the bug type mews and It was a piece of cake so shotouts to all those people with names I cant pronounce 😅 And that my friends is how I got my precious BeastBall Mewtwo , good luck to everyone attempting this challenge 👍
I hate those idiots in raids. They either throw a random legendary/shiny that they want to flex, their level 76 starter that only has its base nature and level up moves, or outright use Pokémon to sabotage you with a level one or a bad matchup.
I just completed the raid and followed this steps during an online match! I had everything at hand, including +50 bug tera shards and lots of PP bottles for some reason. Moreover, I made an exact build following this fantastic video's guidance and in the end it worked! I can't believe it actually work. Thank you for making this guide for people like me, and also thank you トマト, くまもん, and アキト for having me assisted on this epic duel. We did it! ありがとう ございます!
Thanks so much for the comment, this raid is insane never thought we would ever see anything like this. I kind of love the challenge but this was extreme. If you try the solo challenge let me know how you get on with it
Thanks m8! I actually used the bug tera type with other players online bc I just prefer to do the raid with others that might have the same move set. But I was actually successful & I caught the mewtwo a few days ago thanks to the last video you made :)) also I want to point out that I seen a really smart thing a player did with electrical terrain so mewtwo won’t fall asleep & gain more health. So I’ve been switching up my move sets just because of it & trying new things like experimenting with the mewtwo raid. But anyways you’re welcome for the comment it’s my pleasure :))
@@OsirusI have a problem When I finish the first state of the raid (so up until the turn where I terastalise Mew and use Leech Life) Mewtwo removed all negative effects, as expected. However the next turn it's faster than my Mew and it hits me before I can even use one mud-slap thus either sending my Pokémon to low hp or even KOing it The problem is that my Mew's speed seems to be already maxed up, so what should I do?
just wanted to add my thanks for this guide! took me a few extremely frustrating losses and close calls, but i was able to catch mewtwo today after a clutch crit from mew as the final blow! thank you so much!
I wonder what Mew set was used for testing. I wonder if it was Mew! Great work showing this is possible. As someone who hates Discord, I'll stick to finding raid partners on Discord.
Amazing guide for solos! I did it after 3 days! I followed everything to the tee, except that I had to heal twice with Leech Life in between, and was left with 0 PP after defeating M2. Cheers!
This Mewtwo raid was ridiculously difficult, but after going online with different people we managed to beat it. The thing I like about this is that this is the first 7 Star Raid battle that does not include a starter Pokémon for us to get, the Pokémon keeping its Tera Type the same as its typing, and most of all a Legendary Pokémon.
I got Mewtwo on the first try with about 1 fourth of the health bar left. I got paired up with two randos and an NPC . Luckly one of my rando partners was a support and my and the other rando was attackers. We pretty much followed the steps in this video. The Arcanine the NPC was using was getting taken out, but the three of us took it down. Was a challenge indeed, but we were all insync. I was happy, now to do it all over again for Scarlett. Thanks to you Osirus and Austin John for the advice to get through this one.
I just applied your strategy, but it was with a group of people with 3 other Mews who were using techniques like Swords Dance, Struggle Bug, and Reflect (which I’ve tried multiple times). This made the difference! Lowering Mewtwo’s accuracy and strengthening my Mew with Amnesia and Bulk Up helped turn the tide for all of us! Thank you for posting this video!
The biggest problem I'm having is the NPC not using leer in the final stage. I am 5 days into this. I'm not giving up yet. Am I missing something? Did something get patched? Or am I just that unlucky with my RNG? This has happened 3 times. I have made absolutely sure I'm following the guide to a T. Edit: Unfortunately I gave up. With local functionality not working and having the ability to go online to play with friends or trade made it a very difficult choice to update and lose the event. After 7 days total of trying and 1 time of almost having him I just couldn't keep going as it was no longer fun. At least I can transfer one from Home. But, it's still going to leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
Used this spread online, with great success! Did have one slight tweak: I used Swords Dance in place of Bulk Up. The defense boost was not as important as the rapid Attack set-up. Also helped that another player must have seen this video, as we both used Mud-slap together
Whoever at Gamefreak designed this needs to be fired... there is no "Strategy", you just hope RNG ends up in your favor and that you don't get crit or frozen halfway through The other 7 star raids have has some kind of strategy to go with them that didn't force you to rely on RNG
This is mega hard - tried it about 10 times this morning, then realised that because my last partner was Clodsire (Bellybolt, Arcanine) the poison would sometimes block the paralysis , which was pretty much an instant loss so need to re-roll the partners again, also the gods of the RNG are real with this one, kept getting Crit and it usually gets really squeaky bum in the transition between 'stage 1' and 'stage 2' where you can have to go for the last bulk up but are in range to be KO'd. Still mad props for being able to do it and show us - might try and roll the Mudsdale to get the defence drop through the shield not managed to get that far yet. Cheers for the build and Video :)
Wow! Thank you so much for the guide! I built my own OT Mew and didn’t want to catch the Mewtwo unless I soloed it 😂 I just did it tonight after some hard praying! NPC’s were Weavile, Bellibolt, and Dudunsparce. It was my first run with them and we did it with time on the clock! I’m so pumped! Thank you, and mad love 🙏❤️🎉🎉
So the moves are Stage 1 1-3: mud slap 4: amnesia 5-6: bulk up 7: amnesia 8-10: bulk up 11: Tera and leach life Stage 2 (mew2 remove effects) 1-6: mud slaps 7: bulk up 8: all out cheer 9-10: leach life Stage 3 (null all your stats) 1-2: Bulk up 3: amnesia 4-7: bulk up (prioritize survival) 8: attack cheer 9-11: leach life Stage 4 (rest heal) 1-6: mud slaps (leach life to heal) 7: attack cheer 8-finish: leach life
Just caught Mewtwo. Took about 5 hours. I got pretty unlucky with freeze and crit. But my last attempt everything went my way 😊 (Freeze, crit and faint are all instant losses, stay strong, follow this setup and have LOTS of patience. Good luck) Thank you Osirus for the guide! This ended up being super fulfilling ❤
This raid is pure torture. The odds of success using this strategy are vanishingly small. I've been trying for several hours a day since the raid event started and over hundreds of attempts I've got close a total of 3 times. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Same, I've gotten close like thrice now, but for some reason the fight either starts deviating from the plan (i.e. Mewtwo doesn't reset stats when it's supposed to) or I get really bad luck (freezing at the shittiest time). I'll keep trying though. And if this doesn't work, I'll have to ditch Mew and train up something else...
Didn't think this solo build would be possible. I actually got my mewtwo after a few failed online trys. Thanks for the coverage as always, doing the lords work 😂💖
The RNG gods finally smiled upon me today. Today, with 3 hours of resetting for the right NPC and another 4 hours of fail battles. I finally won and caught my prize. Thank you for putting up this tutorial. By the way, I have been trying this strategy since it was posted. So, two days of failure. To anyone else using this strategy keep trying and good luck.
With a Solo method and the ability to keep old raids, I foresee myself keeping Mewtwo on a copy with my 18 Mew on them to get them all with the Mightiest Mark. Thank you so much!
Solo raids would be so much more fun if they worked like double battles, hell they could just make the solo a 2v1 or import the old triple battle controls from gen 5 and have the reduced team size as a drawback to doing the raid solo in place of needing to coordinate or get lucky with partners and it would still be an improvement. Alternatively just letting you assign partners from your pc to a raid party slot similar to the battle boxes and having them rotate through each of their moves in turn automatically so you can assign a mon with only the one or two support moves you need such as struggle bug or chilling water and acid spray or rock smash and you would be able to actually plan around what your allied pokemon will do reliably.
Absolute legend. I was waiting for someone to work out a solo strategy! RNG? Patience? As someone who caught a shiny Iron Valiant in the beast ball I'm sure it's worth a try 😄
Heck...I made it. Took forever, was super close, but I made it. Thanks for your effort, I hope they go easier on us with the next big raid lol. This was...straining.^^
Closing in on 150 attempts at this solo. My first 7/8 attempts were ended by a crit which literally just one shots you no matter what, if mewtwo is fully set up (which it will be after a few turns). After my first ten or so attempts I’ve just kept ballpark estimates of how many attempts, but I can say for sure it’s been over 100 as I’ve been at this for over 24 hours. I’d say around 30-40% of my attempts were ended by getting frozen. Can’t believe that shitty mechanic is still in the game. They really couldn’t have picked a more frustrating last move Just had my closest attempt about an hour ago, and I was literally one turn from beating it. The reason I didn’t? I was hit with back to back freezes on the final 3rd and 4th turns. I thawed out instantly the first freeze, then I decided to heal cheer the second to try to save the run. I’m starting to wish the worst on whoever made this battle What I have learned through all these attempts is; Mudsdale is by far the best “leer” npc. Rock smash gets stat drops during the shield phase, which really help you get through it faster. I ran double leer NPCs for about 40 attempts and found they were absolutely useless 90% of the time. in the final phase, I would rarely get two defense drops even with two of them. Bellibolt greatly increases the consistency of your attempts with its chance at paralyzing mewtwo. It will definitely save you a lot of trouble especially during the start of phase 3 (when mewtwo removes your buffs), as that extra chance of wasting mewtwos turn is crucial. I’m using bright powder instead of metronome because I have mudsdale. The rock smash def drops make up for the lack of damage, and I find that bright powder adds a bit more consistency. Don’t be afraid to take risks early on in your attempts. Getting good starts will smooth the transition to the later stages, and if you fall behind on stat boosting your run is pretty much dead. Ideally you want to have mud slapped 3x, amnesia 1x, and bulked up 3x before your first leech life. You’ll need mewtwo to miss at least 3x, but if it’s not missing at the start you’re already shit outta luck. About getting frozen- I’m still testing out using one heal cheer to thaw it. It depends how well the run is going- if it’s still early on, I’ll let mew try to thaw itself out, but if it’s later on and I really wanna salvage the run I might use the heal cheer. It’s thanks to mudsdale def drops that the added damage is actually enough to where it looks like I should be able to squeeze the heal cheer in a turn Last thing to note: if you faint, if you get one shot crit, if you get frozen for more than one turn, your run is DRASTICALLY worse. You should consider the attempt dead if any of these happen, and just start a new attempt Gl to all, including myself, and seriously fuck this boss battle Edit: Finally beat the battle solo. Only took almost 30 hours and probably around 175 attempts. Just barely managed to do it with about 4-5 def drops in the final phase, so definitely go for the most optimal npc teammates (Mudsdale, Bellibolt, and either Weavile or Arcanine) if you want to save yourself from a ton of attempts. I did it with Mudsdale, Bellibolt, and Corviknight but I probably could've saved myself a lot of time if I had the ideal third teammate as well
Great vid, was lucky enough to get help from the discord where everyone is knowledgable so been lucky enough to get mewtwo already thanks to the community!
If you try it I wish the RNG gods be with you its not straight forward but a good challenge even if you already have the Mewtwo :) thanks for the comment
You’ve been killing it man! I saw the Japanese vid a couple of days back but kudos for the detailed explanation. Now to wait for the Zygarde raid lololol
No way… it’s possible?? 😮 I’ve done 5 clears online. I’m good 😅😅 Blissey is giving me everything I need. I want as many Tera shards as possible😅❤ at least for urgent typings
Thanks, Osirus. I used your first, online strategy and was lucky to get a perfect team of Mews and got my Mewtwo. I wish I'd waited for this strategy so I could have done it the hard way!
i’ve managed to get it to a quarter health but then it nullified my stats and used a psystrike… but yeah i can say it *is* possible but you need dream luck
Got the setup but just wasn’t cutting it with NPCs. It’s the last few hours of the event and idk what else to do so I toss a Hail Mary with randoms from Asia. Only got 2 other real people, but boy were we all locked in. I reckon they were as worn out as me because we all had different Mews, but I was able to play more support with Mud Slap and cheers. Just barely eked it out, but I managed to get Mewtwo and I’m very happy.
I was in a LOT of great groups of randos. My first time I opened it up I had an excellent team and I got my Mewtwo first try. But after a few days I think I got landed in a few raids with some people who I assume MUST have been looking for other ways to solo or other strats because I’ve seen Lokix and Bruxish and then I see some videos one like the next day with those builds featured. There were other people with iron hands meowscarada and annihilape which I assume were kids or something but most raids have been great. Someone did it with a shadow calyrex and damn near OHKO’d it lmao
It is pissible with Annihilape though. Met someone on discord who asked me and others to support because he wanted to Try Annihilape build. Man have I never seen Mewtwo getting so brutally eliminated xD
I was farming Mewtwo raids and out of curiosity entered in one with a ghost Calyrex. I was pleasantly surprised. The Astral Barrage attack esp in the end was fierce. I suppose some Legendaries with Unnerve ability are viable...I won a different M2 raid with someone who brought in a Mewtwo. In both wins the other 3 pokemon were Mews
Thank you! This set up worked great for me, although I didn’t solo it. Other players joined in with Mews and I played the supporting role by just spamming mud slaps and that did the trick.
Just made it finally. Not gonna lie that was a disgusting experience xD You need a lot of factors to be up at the same time and a huge amount of luck still feel super lucky that i finally beat it. Was in the last part of the fight where the shield is broken and i actually managed to throw 6 mudslups at mewtwo and it got paralysed as well so i was like YES! and then boom he throws an ice beem in my face and freezes me for 4 rounds luckily all his hits in the meantime was dodged and then i get unfrozen and manage to land one hit. then a second ice beem comes my way and got frozen again but this time only for one round and i was thinking to give up time almost run out and had time for one more attack only so i decide to stay and then boom i land a critical hit and i one shot half oh his health bar and beat it. I mean thank you so much for this guide but it takes so much patience mate xD
After days of using this strat and changing the combinations of the NPC mons recommended and tone of just attempts where I got to maybe one more hit to only get one shot crit by mewtwo at -6 or frozen to let timer run out. I quit. It was just not meant to be tried so many mons before this strat. Just wish the solo experience was better don’t play online so guess this one not for me. Good luck to anyone still trying. 😢😢😢
Funny I had beat him yesterday and everyone said this was impossible to do solo. And I was lying. Welp now you all feel dumb I bet. Glad the guide has reached so many.
This is an interesting guide and it seems it might work. But I actually spent half day searching for the right partners at Blissey, only to find out that these locked-in partners probably reset with restart of the game and also with midnight/re-aarangement of raids on the map. So when I finally found Bellibolt+Arcanine, I gave it about 20 times and only once I managed to get past Rest, only to eventually fail on timeout, as I needed to use 3 extra leech Life attacks during setup to stay alive. The most difficult part is the first phase, with only 3 Mud slaps usually not being enough to survive until the first Leech life. I eventually gave up, reverted to a multiplayer strategy with Struggle Bug/Life Dew/Swords Dance/Leech Life, connected to some random Japanese players with Mews and we managed to beat it surprisingly easily, given that everyone knew what to do (Struggle Bug like hell when Mewtwo cleans his stats). One of the mews even used Mud-slap so aside from the low attack on Mewtwo's side we had en extra bonus of some attacks avoided. So, thank you for the video and the guide, but in the end I was not able to see it through.
Thanks Osirus for the great guides, its been super helpful and I managed to get my Mewtwo yesterday. I've noticed a lot of randoms have been trying and its so cool to see. Shiny mew is a thing of beauty, I wish I got pokemon red on my 3ds before the store went down so I could try and get one
Thank you for the support also I will be scheduling a shiny mew from pokemon red giveaway on the channel tomorrow evening if you are around for that you could pick one up :)
Glad to see that a solo raid strat has been found. Though I already used another 7-day Free Trial of NOS to get it online, which is a lot quicker and easier than this very tedious, RNG-reliant strat. Thanks for the help though with this raid, all raids before, and any future raids we'll be getting
Did it third try with this build, obviously got very lucky with RNG on good teammates but third game we all synced up and had good synergy and got it done. Very awesome solo build anyone can do it with some patience 100% 👍
Thank you for the video! I managed to catch Mewtwo with this strat. It took me not so long to get a Weavile, Mudbray, and Arcanine as companions. Although there's no Bellibolt I decided to try it anyway. Unfortunately on the first try it didn't work and I messed something up and ended up not saving this trio. So I had to find the desired companions again and after some 25 tries, I got a Bellibolt, Weavile, and Heracross. This was good enough for me and so I tried it with this trio. The first two tries failed again. Both times, after Mewtwo nullified my boosts he hit me with an attack and I was KO'ed. But then on the third try I managed to KO Mewtwo with only a few seconds left, my last attack was a crit Leech Life. I had so much luck on that try, with the paralysis and accuracy drops. So, thanks again!

Yeah the online community for these mewtwo raids has been really good, great to hear you have been having a great time online doing this 7 star raid!! :)
People are trying because we have less flexibility with our raids and catching Mewtwo in general compared to the raids we have already gotten.
The casuals stopped playing fortunately
I consistently came across very good players who had solid builds.
For real, only a few times I came across players who had no idea what they were doing and brought random Pokémon (I assume it was people who had just unlocked 7 Stars Raids and had no idea what they were getting themselves into, judging by the choices).

If you're relying on RNG to avoid the attacks I think sword dance might be better since you need 3 turns setting it up vs 6 on bulk up
@@supernaturaI do keep in mind tho that bulk up also raises the def stat just in case mewtwo goes for psystrike
@@supernaturaI The problem with that is I get OHKO'd by Psystrike if I tera bug without defense boosts.
But it looks like the metronome helps out the mud slap too. Even if it's only 3 turns
That boost is negligible, it does nothing. Mud Slap deals a total of like 0.01% damage @@deemy6464
Super impressive. Haven’t tried it but I’m just glad the title wasn’t a click bait and you were so transparent and honest that it will take patience!
I honestly can't believe it's possible. The Mew set is really clever. I never would have thought of using mud slap!
this man should get a purple heart for how much he has fricking helped this community
Purple heart was if you got injured in battle, medal or honor is a more suitable medal
its called get this: a JOKE@@spoodybo
@spoodybo I mean I presume organising and theorising this caused mental damage so that's a kind of injury
This isn’t his strategy
Kudos to everyone that is able to beat it on 1 September before the guide even exists yet. You guys are real legends. As always, Thank you for posting this! ❤
I'd be surprised if there's a single one who beat it without any help solo. Especially with the RNG
Near the bottom of the article in the last few paragraphs it explained what they would recommend going into the raid... just saying
I honestly had no idea the random tera raid NPCs could be manipulated like that. Good to know.
I dont have friends so I did it online , the first two attempts were painful , the other players literally didnt knew what the heck they were doing ( One flat out brought a Koraidon despite the fact that is a psychic raid ) . But at last the game paird me with 3 japenese player all with the bug type mews and It was a piece of cake so shotouts to all those people with names I cant pronounce 😅
And that my friends is how I got my precious BeastBall Mewtwo , good luck to everyone attempting this challenge 👍
Super happy to hear you finally had some luck online to get this one done!! and in a Beast ball as well 💪 thanks for the comment
I hate those idiots in raids. They either throw a random legendary/shiny that they want to flex, their level 76 starter that only has its base nature and level up moves, or outright use Pokémon to sabotage you with a level one or a bad matchup.
I remember finding a team where someone instalocked Clawitzer. Watched their health get reduced to atoms.
Thanks for helping everyone with this raid osirus because it’s super hard for us all 🙏
Thanks so much for the comment, this raid is insane never thought we would ever see anything like this.
@@OsirusI’ve been trying this solo and I get as far as him resetting my stats but even with 6 acc drops he one shots me as though his acc was fine 😅
I feel bad for beating it rather trivially on my first attempt lol
@@OsirusI have a problem
When I finish the first state of the raid (so up until the turn where I terastalise Mew and use Leech Life) Mewtwo removed all negative effects, as expected.
However the next turn it's faster than my Mew and it hits me before I can even use one mud-slap thus either sending my Pokémon to low hp or even KOing it
The problem is that my Mew's speed seems to be already maxed up, so what should I do?
just wanted to add my thanks for this guide! took me a few extremely frustrating losses and close calls, but i was able to catch mewtwo today after a clutch crit from mew as the final blow! thank you so much!
I suffer from anxiety and depression but your videos/lives help me out a lot. No matter what the content is. Thank you!
Whoever at Gamefreak designed this needs to be fired... there is no "Strategy", you just hope RNG ends up in your favor and that you don't get crit or frozen halfway through
The other 7 star raids have has some kind of strategy to go with them that didn't force you to rely on RNG
Thank you so much! You're a life saver for us solo players :D
first turn freezes are the bane of my existence
So the moves are
Stage 1
1-3: mud slap
4: amnesia
5-6: bulk up
7: amnesia
8-10: bulk up
11: Tera and leach life
Stage 2 (mew2 remove effects)
1-6: mud slaps
7: bulk up
8: all out cheer
9-10: leach life
Stage 3 (null all your stats)
1-2: Bulk up
3: amnesia
4-7: bulk up (prioritize survival)
8: attack cheer
9-11: leach life
Stage 4 (rest heal)
1-6: mud slaps (leach life to heal)
7: attack cheer
8-finish: leach life
Just caught Mewtwo. Took about 5 hours. I got pretty unlucky with freeze and crit. But my last attempt everything went my way 😊 (Freeze, crit and faint are all instant losses, stay strong, follow this setup and have LOTS of patience. Good luck) Thank you Osirus for the guide! This ended up being super fulfilling ❤
even the replay of the fight kept me on the edge of my seat! amazing!
Finally! I’ve been Waiting for some Solo Instructions
Props to Pokemon man. They made this extremely hard solo and I love it. This is what Pokemon is about
I found a discord and they taught me what build I should use and we beat mewtwo down a few times, I love the Pokémon community nothing but love 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Took me 4 tries. I had an unlucky one where he crit and killed me. But last try went perfect! Thanks for this!
What do you do when mewtwo is *LITERALLY ONE LEECH LIFE AWAY FROM DEATH* but he takes a long animation and releases his energy
Heck...I made it. Took forever, was super close, but I made it. Thanks for your effort, I hope they go easier on us with the next big raid lol. This was...straining.^^
I always get so close but the arcanine on my team doesn't lower the defense at all so in the last seconds I am unable to give the finishing blow
Honestly amazing video lee. I am totally mindblown as I was not expecting to see this at all.
They really couldn’t have picked a more frustrating last move
Just had my closest attempt about an hour ago, and I was literally one turn from beating it. The reason I didn’t? I was hit with back to back freezes on the final 3rd and 4th turns. I thawed out instantly the first freeze, then I decided to heal cheer the second to try to save the run. I’m starting to wish the worst on whoever made this battle
What I have learned through all these attempts is;
Mudsdale is by far the best “leer” npc.
It’s thanks to mudsdale def drops that the added damage is actually enough to where it looks like I should be able to squeeze the heal cheer in a turn
Last thing to note: if you faint, if you get one shot crit, if you get frozen for more than one turn, your run is DRASTICALLY worse. You should consider the attempt dead if any of these happen, and just start a new attempt
Gl to all, including myself, and seriously fuck this boss battle
Edit: Finally beat the battle solo.
A solo guide?! Nice lee!
If you try it I wish the RNG gods be with you its not straight forward but a good challenge even if you already have the Mewtwo :) thanks for the comment
@Osirus I give you credit for even attempting this solo... just finished the vid, great work!
You’ve been killing it man! I saw the Japanese vid a couple of days back but kudos for the detailed explanation.
Now to wait for the Zygarde raid lololol
Annoyingly my Bellibolt refuses to use Discharge
I'll definitely being testing out this strategy. Thanks for taking the time to post it
Night one was an act of brutality we all shared in 😂
I'm impressed with these raids
Thanks for this video I tried some of your strategy and I got it in my first try today and 6 tera raid in total
No way… it’s possible?? 😮 I’ve done 5 clears online. I’m good 😅😅
Blissey is giving me everything I need. I want as many Tera shards as possible😅❤ at least for urgent typings
So happy these Blissey raids are still running great prep for the DLC's! Great to hear you managed to already get the Mewtwo online :D
Thank you for introducing me.
The WCS art on the back wall is really nice!
Thank you so much for the amazing strategy!! 🙏🙏 you are the officially the goat of Scarlet and Violet raids 👑
Most insane raid so far. Thank you for your videos. Me and my daughter caught it together with your original online build 😊
Thanks, Osirus. I used your first, online strategy and was lucky to get a perfect team of Mews and got my Mewtwo. I wish I'd waited for this strategy so I could have done it the hard way!
i’ve managed to get it to a quarter health but then it nullified my stats and used a psystrike…
but yeah i can say it *is* possible but you need dream luck
Got the setup but just wasn’t cutting it with NPCs. It’s the last few hours of the event and idk what else to do so I toss a Hail Mary with randoms from Asia. Only got 2 other real people, but boy were we all locked in. I reckon they were as worn out as me because we all had different Mews, but I was able to play more support with Mud Slap and cheers. Just barely eked it out, but I managed to get Mewtwo and I’m very happy.
Thanks for the last video on mewtwo I was able to beat it with your guide thanks a lot ❤
amazing to hear Anthony pleased the online strat worked out and you got the mewtwo
Absolute insane. 👍🏼 I like the side effects of this raid - finding online communitys or discords. 😄
In both wins the other 3 pokemon were Mews
well done man well done.
Thank you bro
Weird my team did it no problem. Honestly it was the best raid experience we’ve had. It was time consuming but fun.
Finally have done it! Massive thanks for sharing this strat 😁
Thank you! This set up worked great for me, although I didn’t solo it. Other players joined in with Mews and I played the supporting role by just spamming mud slaps and that did the trick.
I’m glad that a solo strategy was created even if I can’t do it cuz my switch is kinda bugged. Props to Osiris for spreading the word.
Thanks for the help! Got into a team of all news and we kicked his butt with this build.
Just made it finally. Not gonna lie that was a disgusting experience xD
You need a lot of factors to be up at the same time and a huge amount of luck still feel super lucky that i finally beat it.
Glad the guide has reached so many.
i never thought i would be asking RNG for a truce
Thank you so much for the video! Didn't manage to catch Mewtwo this way, but just got lucky with random players online.
Glad people are actually cooperating online I usually get some trainers that just bs but this time everyone is using the right Mew
this vid deserve a 'like' and 'share'.
Aw amazing! fingers cross I hope I can get one :) @@Osirus
You're just built different ur the first TH-camr to find the solo I tried so many times I failed so thanks
I knew someone would find a way to beat it solo, thanks for the video
Was about to do this, but your other guide went well for multiplayer mew, was so lucky got it at first try. Thanks a lot man!
I managed to get Bellibolt and Arcanine but Arcanine neves uses leer as mentioned. Trying my luck with Sneasel tho
Did manage to do this a couple of days ago, and man was that satisfying to do. Thanks again for the guide man 😊
Congrats on grinding out the solo win 💪 super happy to hear you did this!! Thanks for the comment ❤️
Was there a nerf to this? My belibolt never paralyzes with discharge :(
I still have this raid active. Have been putting off trying this strat, but I'm finally going to do it!!
We need more like this! What's next Lugia? Ho-oh? Suicune?
Well I've rng'd my way through these raids before, just gotta do that again
Can’t believe you did this on your own ! I will certainly try thanks so much !
WOW this is wild. It's crazy it takes almost the entire timer
Solo matches like this most likely will.
