Man, it's hard not laughing super hard at this while everyone is sleeping! But yeah, my love for Power Rangers never ceases to annoy my family. And yeah, this was an extra-long season premiere that they gloss over in the show!
0:54 Dammit, Jesse, not even a full minute in and you've already got me laughing hysterically...and at 1:53-1:55, my laughter got louder. You are a HORRIBLE influence on me! XOXO
I think it's funny that they had so little trust in the project that they didn't call it THE Power Rangers Movie but "a power rangers movie", like "yeah, it's....passable, someone will do a better one eventually."
Watching all of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and the TV series, Power Rangers Turbo again just made me realized how much I hated this transition of the franchise and how it just ruined Power Rangers for me as a kid once they started introducing Justin as the new blue ranger and immediately replaced Tommy, Adam, Tanya and Katherine with four inexperienced newbies halfway through the show, TJ (Red Turbo Ranger II), Carlos (Green Turbo Ranger II), Ashley (Yellow Turbo Ranger II) and Cassie (Pink Turbo Ranger II). This is why I actually preferred Beetleborgs: Metallix (the sequel season to Big Bad Beetleborgs) over Power Rangers Turbo back in 1997, since that actually did had a good premise at the time. Oh well....
Turbo was on repeat at my house on my personal vhs player. the whole "make blue ranger a kid thing" made me relate more being a small child. Also, in retrospective, I think this movie was a major influence in my taste in women (Divatox)
The urban legend that Turbo nearly killed Power Rangers is complete horseshit. Yes, it's true that this film didn't do well at the box office, and the first half of Turbo had low ratings, but all of that was from a two-year ratings decline that had been stuck on the franchise since Mighty Morphin Season 3 in late 1995 (Zeo would've gotten huge ratings, but Big Bad Beetleborgs was getting all the attention in late 1996). But, after the change of cast in "Passing the Torch" happened, the second half of Turbo started getting good ratings, which was good news for Saban and the Power Rangers franchise. On top of that, the old Power Rangers (Tommy, Kat, Adam, & Tanya) were becoming adults. Yes, teenagers do have some responsibilities and problems, but nothing compared to adulthood, which means real responsibilities such as getting a job and paying bills. These are things a teenager lacks, which makes them ideal Power Rangers. If there's a monster attack, they don't have to make up some random excuse and risk their jobs to step out. It's possible for them to go into space and leave their seemingly non-existent parents behind. Teenagers makes sense. Not terribly much sense, I'll grant you, but we all get the logic. And honestly, the replacements (T.J., Cassie, Carlos, & Ashley) are no worse than the first team of Power Rangers (Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, & Kimberly) were when they were chosen by Zordon. Hell, Billy couldn't even fight for shit back then, and they still picked him up.
Wow, dude, I really don't give a crap about the POWER RANGERS mythology personally, but I genuinely love your passion. I had that same affection for the WILD FORCE series myself as a 12 year old. That show was on ABC Family every weekday morning during summer 2002, and my brother and I initially watched it to laugh at its camp value, but since we were still fairly dumb kids, we slowly got genuinely invested in what happened next in the plot. We treated it like a goddamn soap opera. Good times, my man, good times...even though the Red Ranger from WILD FORCE is now a convicted murderer. Honestly, finding that shit out about the Red Ranger from WILD FORCE was more of a blow to me than the Kevin Spacey revelations.
It’s okay I made parents suffer through SpongeBob and King of the Hill too. I was somebody who was obsessed with watching all episodes and the whole episode too. That included intro and credits. Family got easily annoyed of The King of the Hill song that plays in the beginning of every episode.
Power Rangers should never be defended as "good" whatever its form as this opposes reality. That would be the equivalent of saying Batman & Robin is a cinematic masterpiece--it just ain't true, regardless of who might claim it.
Which prolonged TV show episode had the least business being in the theaters as a standalone movie? Power Rangers: Turbo? Powerpuff Girls Movie? Or Star Wars: The Clone Wars? Also: On Justin's age, Saban produced the show Beatle Borgs, and I believe Drew and Jo were a bit younger than Justin. Plus, I believe in one of the Super Sentai Shows (where Power Rangers spawned from), one of the heroes was a kid.
Man my dad took me to watch me on the and I only have a faint memory of watching it, so my father went through for almos 2 hours of this just for me, I, I gotta go and tell my dad I love him. BTW after watching some reruns on PW Turbo, is it me or am I the only one with a crush on Divatox?
I saw this movie on dvd when I was young. Looking back on it, I think it's a dumb movie. The rangers in the film only morph twice, and when it does happen, it is after a long time, the villainess was dumb, the kid ranger was annoying. It's incredibly cheesy. Can't find anything good about this movie now. I also heard that it's Super Sentai source material was actually a parody of it's own franchise.
Why didn't we get a VR TROOPERS movie kind of preferd that show to power rangers as the show only lasted for two series and it kept the original cast for all its run and wasn't as stupid at times like the rangers
Divatox henchmen actually have faces unlike the show, which have them looking like goons like the putties and such. Rocky atleast has his red ranger powers back aswell as everyone else who lost there powers in there seasons, everyone has there powers back. I still wait for the day when we get an actual final battle between MMPR rangers and Lord Zedd and thanks to Hasbro, we likely will get an actual finale unlike the show, which had In spaace rangers rescuing Zordon and Zordon sacrifices himself to destroy all evil or atleast purify them of evil, also In space rangers act like they have known Zordon forever, when it was the original MMPR team who knew Zordon. You dont even have the actual MMPR team saving the universe and destroying there old enemies that they have fought for ages, instead you have the new Turbo team go into Space and do it, a team who didnt know doodly squat about any of the villains except Divatox but act like they do and I guess I should be happy that they changed it after In space cause atleast the series after In space have those rangers finishing off thererespecttive villains, I moan and groan about the way they handled Zedd and Rita and ended them the way they did aswell as the machine king empire but with Hasbro taking the helm, we might start getting good stuff considering they do fantastic Transformers TV show series like Transformers Prime and the latest one, where every transformer from every season join forces against one big threat.
Just because it was a phenomenon doesn't mean it was any good. I fucking despised Power Rangers and still do. From the stupid ass theme music to the dumbass characters, there ain't a fucking thing that I can say is remotely entertaining about it.
I have the first movie on DVD since it's not on blu ray yet I don't think but if it was id get it on that. This movie is terrible and stupid but I want to get it to go with the other I have. I grew up with old 90s series and remember watching the first episode when first aired.
Man, it's hard not laughing super hard at this while everyone is sleeping! But yeah, my love for Power Rangers never ceases to annoy my family. And yeah, this was an extra-long season premiere that they gloss over in the show!
Elgar’s head looks like The Green Goblin’s mask from the first Spider-Man movie if it was organic and pink.
0:54 Dammit, Jesse, not even a full minute in and you've already got me laughing hysterically...and at 1:53-1:55, my laughter got louder.
You are a HORRIBLE influence on me! XOXO
RIP GREEN RANGER! 🥺
Divatox was made for the dads to stomach the movie lol
NO! THIS IS PATRICK! - Jason
THAT WAS SO GOOD 😆😆😆
I think it's funny that they had so little trust in the project that they didn't call it THE Power Rangers Movie but "a power rangers movie", like "yeah, it's....passable, someone will do a better one eventually."
It's 2023 and we still haven't gotten a better one...
5:05 poor Adam can’t catch a break🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
It's funny how Colt from 3 Ninjas played Young Rocky. Nice job!
I never realized
Gary Busey and a Conehead! I love it. Great video. Thanks as always.
The only good thing about this bullshit was that the villainess had a fantastic rack, I personally approve on the actress and costume design 👌👌👍👍👏👏

Yeah, sorry mom and dad... I'm really really sorry. Shall we now go watch it again and drink our socks off?
RIP Tommy! :(
A child as a Ranger seemed crazy at first then I saw footage of Kiba Ranger.
There is one called Rocky and you did'nt reference the Rocky movies, no rantlers unbelievable i did it Adrian
I love this awfully good series there should be more
that movie is so good its one of my favorites as a child
Turbo was on repeat at my house on my personal vhs player. the whole "make blue ranger a kid thing" made me relate more being a small child. Also, in retrospective, I think this movie was a major influence in my taste in women (Divatox)
4:19-4:26 Hmm, either Chief Officer Clancy Wiggum from The Simpsons or Chief Officer Misty Luggins from DreamWorks' The Bad Guys.

Well, at least Turbo's Red Ranger never committed any crimes in his life.
2:43 Senpai Ringo-kun! 😍
Stop being weird past self!
Amanda Seyfried and a Furby! 😆
Jesse Shade is a fucking treasure among critics. Pretty sure I'll end up watching all these videos.....again! lol
0:51 what was the named of the instructional dance video?
beetleborgs was the fuckin shit
"What the fuck is a Zordon?"
This came out in the theaters didnt it

Awesome Humor loved it :D
At 19:11 hope u weren't getting sick!

I loved this movie when I was a kid. I probably watched it 20 times on vhs
Divatox had no business being that sexy

Is Rita repulsa voiced frieza from DBZ
Nope. Her voice actor played Kid Goku in the 80s American dub!
Why didn't we get a VR TROOPERS movie kind of preferd that show to power rangers as the show only lasted for two series and it kept the original cast for all its run and wasn't as stupid at times like the rangers
Sallie Wagenblatt I do remember liking VR TROOPERS quite a bit, if only because the villain was voiced by Tim Curry. Can't go wrong with that.
The villain, Grimlord from VR Troopers was played and voiced by Gardner Baldwin.
The new Power Rangers reboot sucked so bad with critics so much that it has forever ruined the entire franchise.
#RangerFail
Mutsor Tima Fuck Critics!
Actually, the Power Rangers franchise will still go on, no matter how many bumps there are in the road.
@@RoyStantz Yup! It's like Star Wars or The Simpsons.
Screw this movie for ruining the franchise for years.I hope the next reboot isn't this.
i remember enjoying both movies. im not sure why this dude found the need to bash them.
Awesome stuff 👍🏻
What's wrong with Johnny Ramone hair?
9:07-9:08-9:09-9:10 Absolutely sexy.

As someone who watched this movie as a kid when it came out I gotta say I always appreciated Divatox’s cleavage.
Power rangers is my favorite
I guess that’s a no no from your review about power rangers turbo movie
I like Power Rangers
I have the first movie on DVD since it's not on blu ray yet I don't think but if it was id get it on that. This movie is terrible and stupid but I want to get it to go with the other I have. I grew up with old 90s series and remember watching the first episode when first aired.
