What computer classes does an experienced nurse need to to take up a job in analytical and clinical nurse informatics since I think I have less computer skill? Do I have to be computer science degrees to do that?

I'm a medical assistant and I know nursing is not for me with me being in the field for 20 yrs nursing is not what I want to do. But Informatics is I want to work on computers but I do not want to be a nurse to have to do it.
Do health informatics. With this, you don't need to be a nurse. Any body with a bachelor's degree in any related field can do a masters in health informatics. For you to do nursing informatics, you must be a nurse and have a BSN.

An MSN in Informatics because an MSN carries more weight. You always have that to fall back on. It also can cross over not only in health IT, but in nursing and public health. Hope this helps!
