    I PASSED my Ati dosage cal today with a 92 y’all! Most definitely use this ! And please DO NOT listen to your teachers when they tell you this method doesn’t work for all your calc problems because it does!

      did mine. got 40%. but it was online so cant see score.
      If a question says for example 500 ml every 5 hours over 1 hour, do you ignore the 5 hours part? since you don't give the drug for 5 hours

    I’m crying. Literally crying. 🥹💜
    I’ve never felt smart with math, I was always scared if it, and I haven’t even started nursing school yet, but I was so scared I’d be left behind once classes start. I watched this video and practiced for hours today. Then I went to challenge myself, and guess what: I got every single question on three various NCLEX dosage calculations quizzes 100% correct!!! I’m not stupid! I can do this! I can be a nurse!! I can’t tell you how happy you made me feel. Your help helped me heal and gave me hope. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🥹😁

      @tabithahaynes1451, each program may have slightly different ones, and it should specify in the question. If not then rounding to the tenth is typically the rule of thumb.

    Hi,SOS! im a vet student and the college isnt giving very good instruction! i have exam on dosage and have to show my work can someone please please show me how to do the following questions? 1. 25mg/5mL= 150mg/xmL. Question 2. 75mg/3 tablets=xtablets. Question 4: 3 mg/ 1 tablet= 19.5 mg/xtablet. Question 5: 375mg/10mL = 46mg/xmL. Question 6. 3,5mg/1.5mL=14mg/xmL. Question 7: xmg/1.8mL=4mg/7mL and final Question 8: 25mg/xmL= 4mg/7mL? I was supposed to have exam done allready and behind so anyhelp would be totally greatful!

      Catara, we can't speak to other healthcare professions since we are only familiar with nursing programs, but if your questions are similar the math should be the same and it should work.

    does this work with problems like " the healthcare provider orders aspirin grains 20 po now. the nurse has available aspirin grains 40 tablets. the nurse will give_____ tablets. Im still lost.

      Kristen young, yes! It is much more simplified with less cross out steps, but yes it will work utilize the same steps!
