Bought my 2011 FZ8 brand new in 2010. It was first street bike. It’s completely stock. Such a fun bike to ride. Great for riding around town and a blast on the twisties. Never plan on parting with it.

Gotta love the fz8, grew up riding dirt bikes and got a DRZ 400 super moto as a first road bike then bought a fz8 off my dad and have been riding that ever since, very nimble and has very good control at high speeds. Been happy with the bike from day one

I wouldn't want recommend you the fz8 to a new or novice rider. Not because of the power or performance of it but because bikes like this are far less forgiving than a mt03 mt07 r3 etc, which are designed to be easier to ride so you can get the experience required to get something like a fz8 mt09 mt10 etc as your next bike.. don't rush it by going for a bike that will teach you the hard way when you can get a lot better as a rider on a more suitable bike
