They were in the same room and still texting! Now I'm 100% sure this takes place in an alternate universe where Meta took over, removed everyone's vocal cords and forces them to communicate exclusively by WhatsApp 😂 And you can buy an add-on that lets you hear the text as if it was someone speaking to you, but there's only a limited selection of voices - with their respective variants. That's why everyone sounds the same 🤣
Go to the settings and play it a 1.25 speed. It's slow enough that they don't sound like cartoons BUT fast enough to move these long/boring stories along.
You know there is a word I learned along time ago, that if you use it you don’t have to do things. No. Isn’t it a great word? I use it all the time when I can’t help people. Sometimes people are insistent so you repeat it til they get it, or just stop asking.
I noticed that too. I think they’re trying to make these more like radio plays for people who are just listening instead of watching. I think it’s cool.
Yeah so Tina is constantly complaining about having to take care of David. She even complains to the sick old man about having to take care of him so she's not that great She bitches to everyone for twenty minutes and then says "but I don't mind doing it" and then bitches for another 20 minutes and then says "don't say anything to anyone" lol. She's a mess. And Brad was right, she wasn't forced to. If she gives into guilt trip, that's on her but she pretends to care about him to his face to make herself look good. The only person I have sympathy for in this story is poor David.
@@KCohere33she is absolutely on the right. But she can’t even put her foot down. If I were her, I would just return to my folks’ home and be done with it. 80 minutes was too long. I could’ve tolerated 40 minutes, but 80? Come on.
@@lorannamoody7011 I don’t. Is it really so hard to pay attention to a video that’s longer than twenty minutes? The reason people can’t tolerate long videos imo is they’re too impatient to get to the end instead of just enjoying the storytelling.
These longer videos have a few things in common. One of the top ones for me is thatv things within each story become repetitive. I really miss the 20 minutes, or below, stories.
If you’re going to keep making longer videos, like this, can we at least get some chapters put into this? Or at the very least a five minute TLDR at the end of the video? This used to be my favorite of the Appleverse channels, but this is starting to get ridiculous. If I wanted 80 minutes of White Noise to fall asleep to, I would put on an aquarium soundtrack. I get it you’re trying to appease the algorithm to an extent, but with 90% of your video is just filler, I just don’t see the point. You’d honestly be better off doing like, eight or 12 hour long compilation of your greatest hits of the last two years. At least, then, I can task in the glory of the past videos where things were at least somewhat interesting, even if sometimes they made less sense than a three dollar bill.
@@KCohere33 it’s Not so much the length, it’s the pacing. Most of the recent stories have 45-50 minutes of build, half of which is usually unnecessary, 5 minutes of rushed consequences that half the time don’t even make sense, and the epilogue. At least before, the consequences usually started about halfway through and made sense for the most part.
@@thecornettmultiverse I disagree about the rushed consequences. I think the longer stories take more care with the build up. The shorter stories are the ones where everything seems rushed. For example, the videos where people are instantly divorced. I don’t think the purpose of these long stories are to get to the punchline quickly but just for people who like longer stories because they’re listening while they’re working or doing chores. But not everything is for everyone. If you prefer short videos, there are plenty but they’re just as repetitive if not more.
Why is a pregnant woman moving furniture and mowing lawns?.. why can't these wives just say NO?!.. they never put their unborn child and their health first.. they just allow these abusive husbands and MIL'S to put them and their child at risk.. when I was pregnant my husband didn't want me doing anything.. he even wanted me to quit my job as it involved a lot of standing, taking stairs and walking.. he wanted to keep us both safe. He was upset when I refused to quit and be on bed rest like the dr said.. I just can't stay in bed all day. He knows that.. I'm not sure why she even wanted a child with brad? she's never been able to rely on him BEFORE the pregnancy. he's never had her back or her best interest at heart. Did she think a baby would change him?. He was the same lazy, good for nothing shytty husband before the baby and he'll continue to be a shytty husband. He doesn't help her with anything. How does she think it'll be when that baby comes? It will be 100× worse. Now she'll have a newborn, brad and MIL to take care of.. having a newborn isn't a joke. They need your constant attention. They wake up every 2 hours wanting to be fed, burped and changed. God help you if they don't immediately go back to sleep after that.. you'll be up half the night. I would've gotten the hell away from brad and his shytty mom.
Ladies this is why you NEVER EVER QUIT YOUR JOB. He’s using financial control over being the one working to control her. This situation would be 1000x times worse once the baby is born and she’s not working. It would be HELL. Husband needs to clean his own house. Loser misogynist

If I were Tina, Brad would be afraid for me to come home, VERY afraid. What a nasty azz he must be. To live in his own squalor for two weeks and not cleaning up behind himself
I know people are concerned about watch time and engagement, but This kind of thing where the story just repeats itself over and over again is really going to shoot the channel in the foot. They just did another one where a third of the run time was the main character repeating what had just happened to a third party, I have to imagine the production time is worth more than having a story spin its wheels
I am so confused with people like this. Why does anyone else have to handle someone for them. They are grown adults'. Stand your ground and say no. So many people just want others to handle issue they are having instead of handling it themselves. They never have a spine. Just tell me this, if something happened to you from a complete stranger are you going to cry to the strangers parents that they need to do something about that person? No most people would just shut them up where they stand. Grow up people god. So frustrating..
If you mean Tina, she told the MIL multiple times not to do this and she wouldn’t listen so she tried fruitlessly to get help from her husband. That’s not unreasonable.
I'm sure I'll be shot down like a burning Spitfire but... having been pregnant seven times, I really don't understand these stories. Of course the mother-in-law should stop behaving so badly but being pregnant is a natural bodily function, one we are specifically designed to undertake. I had insane amounts of energy, nesting is a powerful thing! Of course, everything is new in a first pregnancy but how on earth do these women think they will possibly cope with a third or fourth pregnancy?!!! I was lambing throughout the night whilst caring for a three year old and breast feeding a two year old, a one year old and a one week old baby. I had orphaned lambs in the kitchens which required bottle feeding every hour and I still had an estate to run. I also suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum for at least seven months of each pregnancy, not a lot of fun. Every week I would spend one night with an IV for fluids and safe antiemetics. The only things I could eat were apples and liver. We have babies when we are young because we have the energy to cope with the birth and the work. Naturally, men should be supporting their wives in any way possible but please, unless one is suffering from a medical complication of pregnancy, get a grip.
The mil can shove it. The op is not the mil on call girl. I would just say I was busy. Forget that. Next thing will be someone needed to be there for her husband at home. This is whacked
Maybe it’s just me, but I think Tina is being a big baby! Sounds like the requests from MIL are not every day and not anywhere stressing. I’m about half way through at this time. May change my mind later?
Still don’t get it! Yes there were a few comments that Brad could have done without saying, but Tina was a brat the whole way through! My opinion of course!
Well there is a few things to consider. It's not just about the amount of stress that Tina felt, but also how she was treated. I can hear a woman who is crying out for support, empathy and physical help. Tina was telling Brad what she was needing and in turn also telling her MIL what she needed, but both just ignored it, blaming hormones. The extreme pressure her body was going through is telling in the story. Brad was doing absolutely nothing in the house. Actually he was increasing the load already on her body. Tina was saying multiple times: "please help me. Please take some of the load that is already upon me". Yes some women can do amazing things and handle multiple situations at one time while pregnant. But others have great difficulty to the point where it starts to kill the mother. On top of that, MIL was adding to the problem, guilting Tina into doing extra tasks. Both MIL and Brad believed that cause Tina was at home that she had nothing to worry about and had all the free time in the world. You can hear in the part where Haley steps in saying she will help serve and both Brad and MIL kept insisting Tina do it. Tina's body was in overdrive and you can tell by the conversation with the doctor. Her stress levels were becoming more extreme and I am surprised they didn't put Tina on bed rest. When you have a husband that doesn't give two hoots about his wife, shows to be a mama's boy and can't look after himself, then you can see how bad it truly is. Step into Tina's shoes. You are super unwell, your partner demands to be treated as king, your MIL prioritises social events over family and having to get everything ready before baby comes, you can see what she is trying to say.
That was ridiculously long. At first I thought it was a compilation video but realized I hadn’t heard this story. I like these voice actors but not these longer stories. I hope they aren’t planning to make this permanent.
That was painful. Looooong... 0:59 His attitude at the very beginning of the story was enough for him to be put on my 💩 list. I kept repeating, "You need to leave." I felt that the OP was either going to have a heart attack, lose the baby, or be hospitalized for the rest of the pregnancy. She should have left much sooner for the safety of her child. And her sanity.
I'm going to keep it a 100 the father would still have to have a chance to bond with their child even if she gets full custody and especially while paying child support you might hate him ass a person but he still Haileys father and at some point you will have to go to court for joint custody unless he signed his rights away I hate a with a lot of these stories they keep the kids away from the dads because he was a ass to them and I'm a female saying this you both will still have to find a way to co-parent with each other.
no my dear. its actually going to be easer on you because you don't have two children to take care of. you only have the one. also i bet you if your ex sister in-law found out you needed help she would be there for you. she's proven it.
All these stories illustrate the need for people to understand having a backbone verses running rough shod over people. The OP needs a back bone, the FIL needs a backbone stop "keeping the peace" a little less peace now means more peace later when the MIL and husband learn that they can't be such selfish twats and have the spineless ones take all the damage of "keeping the peace". The MIL and husband definitely need lessons in not ignoring other people's feelings and issues because it would inconvenience them. But again this is a bad communication story... if you clearly say no and stick to it- that communicates something as well as if you clearly say no and then do it for the peace. It's like when your kids are young and going through the picky stage you can make individual meals for everyone OR you can let them go without eating one meal. Assuming of course there isn't a medical reason why they can't skip a meal it won't hurt them- I am very thankful that when mine were in that stage I had my pediatrician reassure me that skipping a meal wouldn't hurt them. Teach boundaries, respect other people's and hold your own firm that is how you reduce stress in the long term- at the very least don't give into the manipulator's demands that you join their conspiracy against their partner knowing they are being shit humans. Start putting yourself in the other person's place would you want to know if your partner/ loved one was treating another loved one so shitty? I know I would because I would not be telling them to suck it up I'd be going to have a talk with the person acting badly.
Agreed on Brad in Mil but damn how dirty are these people? Being pregnant twice I understand how it goes n everyones pregnancy is different n not right to expect other people to do things for you but being pregnant Does mean you can't do anything at all. You can still do most until birth. And you have to keep active, it helps with labor. Of course take breaks. What is going to happen if she has a second child? What will happen to first child? If you can be pampered and everything that's great. But to expect it and doesn't happen then it's going to be hell for both of you during pregnancy. So just divorce? Complain about no father? Having to raise on her own? There was no cheating, beating. No giving a second chance and then if still same shit then divorce? It's wrong
55:09 really?! She is growing a baby the mil should stop pushing her around especially first pregnancy. It is obnoxious. Even her daughter empathizes. She didn't need to mow or lift furniture. @@lorannamoody7011 Hey Loranna,! You have a awesome weekend ahead 👋🤗🥰🐊
One long, vary good story. Well done .😊
Get housekeeping services
I loved this long story😊 my ironing was finished in no time
I would have been done the MIL the first time she asked me in my first month of pregnancy to move furniture and mow the lawn when my lazy-ass husband was also home!
They were in the same room and still texting! Now I'm 100% sure this takes place in an alternate universe where Meta took over, removed everyone's vocal cords and forces them to communicate exclusively by WhatsApp 😂
And you can buy an add-on that lets you hear the text as if it was someone speaking to you, but there's only a limited selection of voices - with their respective variants. That's why everyone sounds the same 🤣
I enjoyed the long story and thanks 👍
Wait is this just one story????
Too long. I am skipping forward some.
Go to the settings and play it a 1.25 speed. It's slow enough that they don't sound like cartoons BUT fast enough to move these long/boring stories along.
Speed it up to 1.75 or 2.0, it's slightly more bearable.
Hahahahahaha MEN thinking they are tired. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
These videos are becoming too long with too much repetition as filler.
This channel is re-uploading old stuff.
And adding in filler stuff to make it look original.
True i have been watching lately because of the dang filter
SHE IS GROWING A WHOLE AZZ HUMAN 24/7!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM!!!!!
Yeah, but some of them are sneaky. They’ll hide it then surprise you once you’re committed.
This is a prime example of why sometimes a man should be the one to carry the baby, just to know what its like for the MOTHER
Stories like this are why I tend to skip towards the end.
40 minutes is pushing it. This is only 10 minutes shorter than the average movie!
Brad, she carrying a ficking baby in her belly. That puts alot of stress on her body.
This story was very different and interesting, liked it 😂
I like this long story 😁
1:06:47: It's not unreasonable to ask someone BEING UNREASONABLE to stop. That husband: eish!😅
She needs to ignore her mother in law. Mother would complain to her son and he'd take mommy side.
You know there is a word I learned along time ago, that if you use it you don’t have to do things. No. Isn’t it a great word? I use it all the time when I can’t help people. Sometimes people are insistent so you repeat it til they get it, or just stop asking.
I like how some of the dialogue is set up like they're physically in each other's presence.
I noticed that too. I think they’re trying to make these more like radio plays for people who are just listening instead of watching. I think it’s cool.
@@KCohere33 same, gives more of a realness
Very good story, I would love to hear more stories from you
Can you guys return the old videos, i kinda wanna see them again
They have been playing some of the older ones recently
Brad really needs to learn to cook and clean for himself. He's useless, get out of the marriage fast.
10 times longer than necessary!
The last story is very interesting
Yeah so Tina is constantly complaining about having to take care of David. She even complains to the sick old man about having to take care of him so she's not that great She bitches to everyone for twenty minutes and then says "but I don't mind doing it" and then bitches for another 20 minutes and then says "don't say anything to anyone" lol. She's a mess. And Brad was right, she wasn't forced to. If she gives into guilt trip, that's on her but she pretends to care about him to his face to make herself look good. The only person I have sympathy for in this story is poor David.
Greetings All 👋 Enjoy 👍
I wish they'd go back to the shorter videos.
If you keep accepting the task, then don’t complain about it.
Like Mother, Like Son. They both are guilt tripping gas lighters.
To any pregnant women that actually experienced something like this, you deserve better.
Damn, I can’t even root for Tina. I wish this story could give back 80 minutes of lost time. 😂😂😂
Was it really that long? I scrubbed all the arguments and just went to the end. I understand the complaints.
Why can’t you root for Tina? She is completely right.
Brad is just like my ex. Things will not change. Trust me
These longer videos have a few things in common.
💯💯‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Do people really have such short attention spans that an hour long listen is still too much?
I would NEVER had done what mil wanted and i would of call my husband and told him to do it!! Dil is WAY to nice!!
She is over the top.
so people are texting while being in the same room now?
I mean who talks anymore
This story is restricted by its own medium.
"Stop! Don't touch me Brad!"
Who would stop leaving the room to text this? 😮😂😂😂
This was too long. I fast forwarded to the ending…
Wow Catherine!!
Ladies this is why you NEVER EVER QUIT YOUR JOB. He’s using financial control over being the one working to control her. This situation would be 1000x times worse once the baby is born and she’s not working. It would be HELL. Husband needs to clean his own house. Loser misogynist
“She left me because I left dishes by the sink”
Hahahaha!!!
When they forget this is supposed to be text message stories 😊
MIL is just like how moms egg donor treated us like seriously the day of my sisters wedding I had a bad headache mom talked me into going and I couldn't even sit down to get rid of it everytime I sat down she was all go get this WHEN THERE WAS A BUNCH OF PEOPLE STANDING AROUND DOING NOTHING I finally snapped at her and told her get one of the other ppl to go get the crap she tried to pull the but i thought you wanted to do it crap I said no I DON'T I GOT A BAD HEADACHE THAT ALL THIS STUPID RUNNING AROUND ISN"T HELPING I literally went to the bathroom and wouldn't let anyone else in JUST SO I COULD GET RID OF IT BEFORE THE WEDDING just glad I left after eating or she would have tried to guilt me into helping on cleaning up headache was caused because of my sinus and allergies and that was the least shit me and my family had to put up with from her over the years
Geeze. The screaming!
Good morning from Portland, Oregon 🌹💜⭐️
If I were Tina, Brad would be afraid for me to come home, VERY afraid. What a nasty azz he must be. To live in his own squalor for two weeks and not cleaning up behind himself
This story wasn’t even interesting enough to be this long
Yes 20 minutes would have been better
Right? Its so brain meltingly BORING
@richardsonrym doesnt help that half the voices done by the VA is just aggravating when they do the male/ old man voice. Its so bad
That’s probably because people aren’t really listening to it, just waiting to get to the end.
I totally agree 👍
I just tell people I cannot lie. I get out of A lot of things
It's presumptuous to assume others will lie for you!
If my MIL suggested that I lie for her, I would say no. I won't lie to get myself out of trouble so why would I lie to keep her out of it?
This really didn’t have to be an hour and twenty minutes long 😳😊
The mil can shove it.
Some men just want the glory without putting in any work.
That was ridiculously long. At first I thought it was a compilation video but realized I hadn’t heard this story. I like these voice actors but not these longer stories. I hope they aren’t planning to make this permanent.
Why doesn't the husband go help his mom.
It's kind of weird that they are texting while in the same house " come here so i can kiss you" after she tells him shes pregnant.
I don’t think they’re texting at that point. It’s just a way for us to follow the action.
NO U DO IT YOUR HUSBAND
Boy long story in that time there would have been four more stories.
That was painful. Looooong...
0:59 His attitude at the very beginning of the story was enough for him to be put on my 💩 list.
I kept repeating, "You need to leave."
I felt that the OP was either going to have a heart attack, lose the baby, or be hospitalized for the rest of the pregnancy. She should have left much sooner for the safety of her child.
And her sanity.
Too long.
Absolutely true.
My own father was not a good husband to my mother, but he was the best dad ever!
They’re texting at the table?
no my dear. its actually going to be easer on you because you don't have two children to take care of. you only have the one. also i bet you if your ex sister in-law found out you needed help she would be there for you. she's proven it.
how do you text an accent?
Get on with it!
It is such crap! Haley could easily do it. Low energy toward the end it is just the mil picking on her.
The husband is an asshat
Sooooo are they sitting next to eachother arguing via text who is going to the kitchen? Odd part of the conversation
I think they are treating it like radio before there was tv via text form. So chances are they aren’t actually texting. It just looks like that.
