I truly don’t understand why everyone assumes that doctors are rich. They usually start with some debt from college. And who knows how long it takes to become profitable in the med field. Not all doctors make bank at the gate.
You are right but also insurance is where the money is at. The doctor charges a base amount then the insurance only pays a discounted contract price agreed on between the doctor and insurance company. The rest either gets written off or transferred to the patient depending on the agreed contract between the patient and the insurance company. If the patient doesn't pay their portion then the doctor gets even less than the original base price listed on the bill and will send the balance to collections and eventually write off the unpaid amount to keep the books balanced as well. Then the doctor has so many things to pay for in regards to his practice with the lower amount collected before any profit is made to go into the doctor's pocket for his living expenses. It is very hard in the beginning for doctors to make a good living like people assume they get. It only happens if they are good enough for patients to want to come and if they stick with it long enough for the results to come but even with that there is always a chance for things to go downhill if an unexpected issue arises like a lawsuit or something since doctors are human and all humans make a mistake ever now and then.

I would have said, "OK, adios muchacha!" and would have packed out immediately. If my husband called later to tell me that he had also packed out and wanted to join me, fine. But I never would have spoken to my MIL again.
My brother ex girlfriend lived below me. She had the AUDACITY to complain about me. Making too much noise in my apartment. Just moving furniture around bothered her. I told her to leave my mother alone, and if she has any problems with me tell me. I yelled this at her. She moved out and shortly after she broke up with my brother.
If the SIL's doctor fiance is such a good doctor and makes so much money they can provide their own home. Why doesn't the daughter live with her mother. Divorce the jerk of a husband. I hope that she can take her part of the money out of the house. Hopefully the fiance learns that his new wife's family are losers and liars.
I can imagine that the narrator would have whiplash and a sore throat from switching amongst so many characters. I think it would sound so much better if more than one person played all of these characters.
DH and I grew up together. We were having a silly argument at the beginning of our relationship. He tongue in cheek said he was going to tell my mother. He called her and she laughed her ass off.
Fate of Allie and Mary. (Mary's ending) After enduring a lot of her son Matt's drinking and violence problems and Allie's selfishness lead to the family's downfall, Mary's now all alone with no husband, her own children and grandchildren while she's sitting on her rocking chair being depressed, wondering for life on where did go wrong on raising Matt and Allie. (Allie's Case) After Matt was sent to prison due to his alcohol problems, Her mother Mary finally decided to kick her out of the family as she's also afraid to getting back together with her boyfriend and now not even her friends can help her as she's now working for a minimum wage at a local diner with no time offs whatsoever as she also became traumatized by Matt's Violence when he drinks and feeling guilty everything.
Oh my gosh main character needs to grow a backbone until the mother-in-law what she really thinks about her and she needs to tell mommy's boy where the door is.
Why the hell didn't she do something when she had to give up her tickets that mother-in-law is so selfish and she should have left if not then when they put down for that house she should have already been gone
Okay, I'm less than five minutes in and I really can't put up with hearing any more of this... These scenarios can be cringy and difficult to listen to sometimes, but this takes the cake even for these Apple stories.
