So the ex wife had to go to great lengths to save her own life and now the ex husband wants her to donate a kidney? No surgeon in his right mind would harvest an organ from someone who overcame health saving measure to save their life. It could take them out of remission. It would jeopardize their own life.

They won't accept someone who had cancer as a donor. Too high a risk for the recipient.
We're in the UK, and when my mother developed cancer she was no longer able to donate blood.
UK are strict. You can't even donate blood if you'd had smaller things than cancer... And people would be shocked so I don't think they even asked details and just expected

Think $15 per hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a month taking care of a home and child/children...that would be $11,160 per month he owes her if he was paying her the American national minimum wage. So how does the "breadwinner" think he's doing more than his wife? Even without children, that's $7,740 on a 16 hour day per month just taking care of the home. @@maryb8150 The only difference I am aware of regarding consolation and consulation, is that the one with the u in it instead of o, is probably misspelled. The correct word should be COMPENSATION. Consolation would be for like if you were entered in a contest or in a game show or something, and you didn't win, so they gave you a Consolation prize of lesser value to make you feel better about losing. COMPENSATION is for when someone wrongs you and you sue them for damages.

I was surprised Jake actually cared about Meg dying when he abandoned Kate for the same thing. Turns out it's a scam, maybe if he had used a different excuse that makes more sense then someone would take pity since beingupsethis lover is dying is out of character for him.
