man i remember a year ago i couldnt even begin to play this now i can atleast play the intro. Its wild when you start breaking down his music and see how much he puts into it
Im just traveling back in time from the future to tell that this man made it into an Archetype: Intervals for any guitar players back in 2021 watching.
Sheet happens does his tabs. If I remember correctly when Shape of Colour came out the tabs were released very soon after. Id imagine they will be out no later then a month after the album is released and may even be released same time. Keep fingers crossed!
Such a dynamic tune, as is the entire album! Your growth as a writer/player is exponential, and has gone through an amazing evolution - exceptional talent! Great stuff, Aaron!
You’re an inspiration, I absolutely adore this type of music. I try to learn as many songs as I’m able to play from you. Currently learning sweet tooth. You’re one of my favorite bands along with polyphia, plini and ptv. I don’t listen to anyone else lol
Chin and polyphia are both good but man there’s something about this song in particular I absolutely love. I’ve started learning it with the help of someone called like. Thenakedguitarist or something. I can barely play the first two into parts at half speed lol it’s just crazy
Had no idea you did the camera work on this playthrough. That explains why it's so sick haha. Love the work you do on those Plini/animals as leaders tours. Cheers man
been learning the first phrase for like 3 weeks now and i'm SO CLOSE to getting it up to the right tempo. Some day I'll get to the rest of the song. Much love, you're an inspiration!
What I love most about this track is the small difference between these three second-ish parts at 0:42 and 1:43 That extra note adds so much to the song. Awesome piece of music! :)
i fully respect how you've evolved and found your pocket in the world of music, kudos. i wish you'd still do a couple of the 7 string songs though, especially with the amount of leadwork you're doing now as opposed to older intervals, i feel like the 7 string could bring even more life to your chord progressions. just my 2 cent. keep up the good work, i will by buying the album ;)
The best song from the Intervals repertoire. Perfect arrangement. Questions and Answers. Very striking refrain. Virtuosity, Swing, Melody and excellent harmony. A wonderful chord melody bridge made by Aaron's guitar. Bass and powerful drums. One of the things that annoys me is the exaggeration of the bass drum in all songs, looking like a machine gun, which trivializes this musical resource when used in excess. In this case, the drummer was more restrained and more musical. Congratulations!
I strongly believe ear training intervals daily is important. So here I am, getting my daily dose of Intervals.
underated comment right here
I listen to intervals from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed, in reality or in my head lol
Aaron never fails to impress. He makes the most melodic and intricate riffs seem effortless. Really dig that Suhr!
I teach U.S. History and I am currently teaching the Progressive Era...decided to play this song in class today as it fits the occasion...
Bodhi best teacher ever
These are just the facts...
Bodhi What did the class think of it?
I’m a music teacher and I played Tonga by Jason Richardson the first day for Elementary school students lol
Pretty sure it was something like..."This ain't 21 Savage"
A few months ago it was a merely my dream to be able to play this song but right now I am so proud to say I can finally do it!
Ready for your next challenge?
A Clock Without A Craftsman by Lee McKinney

That solo at 3:30 is so amazing it consistently gives me goosebumps! I can't wait to learn this song once those tabs are out!
chris b I need the tabs so bad.... any idea when/where will they be available ?
Sheet happens does his tabs. If I remember correctly when Shape of Colour came out the tabs were released very soon after. Id imagine they will be out no later then a month after the album is released and may even be released same time. Keep fingers crossed!
