    • @incongruous4
      @incongruous4 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ezen-harttjonathaniberion8227I looked into it a little, seems beyond petty and senseless. So there's 3 guys to vitality, ed, the guy here kind of the lead, Lucas the other guitarists and a drummer. Lucas went to namm and ed couldn't afford to go too and got mad he went. That's it. Ed wanted nothing to do with Lucas after and didn't want to continue the project with him or even talk to him again. Dragged his feet on paying any royalties from TH-cam plays then immediately kicked him and the drummer out the band after paying, now it's just ed. I feel like there's more to this but that's what lucas has to say about it. Just dumb band drama

    Considering this song is called "Bipolarity," I would assume that it is a musical representation of what Bipolar must feel like, and as someone who is afflicted with this, I'd say they're spot on. You go from beautiful moments of clarity or overwhelming positivity to aggressive, intense anger or sadness. Sometimes they're followed one shortly after another. It's a beautiful chaos. A phrase that I would also use to describe this song.

      Bipolarity can be defined as a system of world order in which the majority of global economic, military and cultural influence is held between two states. The classic case of a bipolar world is that of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union

      Both my son and I ride the bipolar express, he’s a type 1 and a free jazz player and I’m an old metal head, the mixed stated can be very much like this composition but as I’m an atypical type 2 I don’t experience to much mania just irrational anxiety, panic and depression, if it were not for my love and practice of shred guitar and music in general I would not have hung around this temporal metronome stand this long, let’s out the energy good and bad and gives me something to live for, to me music literally is life that’s one reason I love Jason Becker, if he can hang after the shit hand he has been dealt then I can hang with a little crazy

    The creativity of this bands music blows my mind, I've been playing for 14 years and I can't wrap my head around how they come up with this stuff. Lol but this IS another super-prog named band that's 0-1-0ing all over the place actually...Random technical riffs put together without smart transition, generic shred, generic guitar licks and sound, nothing new, I've heard it a thousand times all over youtube... Thats a good description. That's always the difference to me too. Something that forces you to consciously pay attention immediately is something special. Then there's lots of other music that's also really good, but doesn't sink in with you until repeated listens. And which is which will vary for everyone.

How is this dude is 'fucking lame' for playing a guitar proven by petrucci, richardson, garcia, and more (everyone else better than you'll ever be) to kick ass? He's probably owned no less than 20 shitty guitars to get where he's at with his talent. Go do something relevant and bark up the tree of every top 20 artist bumping a strat or gibson studio les paul lol.

    First time I've heard vitalism, loving it. There's loads of what I can "stereotypical" prog metal sounds in this such as the clean intro and the kind of "stuttery" breakdown bits often followed with a divebomb. Wish folks would not feel the need to use these all the time. I may get slated for saying this but I love prog metal/djent and so much of it is becoming "stock" and repeats itself a lot I'll use this to help me strive for originality and won't let it put me off some awesome tunes like this!

    There are 2 kind of guitarrist that look at this:
    the one who get frustrated and envy this guy
    the one who get inspired and motivated to be talented as this guy
    Really awesome, Ed Garcia!

    0:00 - 0:27 indie sounding... Like Slenderbodies
    0:27 - 0:40 flipped from Strawberry Girls, to Intervals, to Polyphia
    1:40 - 2:02 Lucas Mann but... Djent Cheats activated?
    2:30 - 2:53 Polyphia time
    2:53 - 3:19 if Polyphia and Strawberry Girls had a collab
    3:20 - 4:13 honestly can't tell if it's more of a Scott Lepage style or an Aaron Marshall style solo... Hmm
    Tbh, really great song, and as you can see, it reminded me of a lot of bands/artists
