Great Job Anubhav, it was a Pleasure to host you and share with you our culinary specialities from Goa. Hope this helps those watching this beatifully Compiled Video, about some of our Goan kitchen.
Hello Mam, I loved the way you explained everything right from the history to food. In this video it was your conversation than the food that I completely enjoyed watching. Hope to meet you in person some day
Adolfina and Joshua are not only great hosts but Historians and custodians of Local details and mouthwatering delicacies 💯 Anubhav great Vlog 🌱 May your Tribe increase 🙌🏻
Saturday made perfect with this video. As a Pakistani, I'd love to visit Goa (and other parts of India). Such fascinating culture, food and landscape! Want to visit Amroha, Goa, Pondicherry, Shimla, Sikkim etc one day! Cheers 🍻
Hi Abhinav, this is Rakshit and I lived in Goa for 10 years then my family moved to Bhopal. I still have all my childhood memories alive. I really loved this episode and specially Adolfina. Loved the way she explained you everything about Goan culture. Learn some Konkani. All the best

Anubhav, an awesome video. You got probably the best host so far. So much of history telling in the classic storytelling style. The shopping in the end was the icing on the cake. Love you buddy.
Anubhav is a real stoic, just notice his reaction (or complete lack of it) when the lady is telling him about her family history... Awesome foodie though, thoroughly enjoy watching your travelogues.
I had been to Goa several times, but only in search of parties, nature, leasure and friends hangout but never saw anything such to experience. Every episode of Goa in your channel is completely new to the youtube community. My next visit will be to complete the things what you have done.
A very enjoyable video. There were so many lovely surprises in store.... Mr. Joshua 's introduction to Sinquerim was very interesting to listen to. Then he took DFW to a beautiful sequestered house set in lush surroundings.. Who would have suspected that Adolfina who graciously received her guest, served him a breakfast to remember always, and who slowly revealed the history of the house , the circumstances which brought a certain German officer to Sinquerim , who fell in love with a lovely local lady , had 6 children, and one of whom was this lovely hostess. Adolfina.!!!! Later Adolfina and Joshua took the trouble to take their guest angling. On the boat, she treated him to crisp mackerel and lovely kokum juice thoughtfully pre -packed by her. At every point, be it sharing snippets about the food or local lore she proved herself to be an exceptional hostess. . The day did not end with that. More enjoyment followed. Not only did she serve DFW a delicious Pork vindalloo for lunch which was cooked to perfection and eaten with Sannas but she also shared with him the recipe, which makes Vindaloo a much sought after dish. This video is refreshingly different from the same predictable format that other videos follow. Joshua and Mrs Aldona need to be specially congratulated for the effort they have put in to make this trip memorable not only for DFW but for all the viewers. Thank you ❤
Hello Mr. Anubhav I really enjoy watching ur Goan series and thank you for promoting our Goa's food & culture. You always respect each n every culture & tradition.
I live in rural France and as my parents are from Margao, I found it wonderful. Sadly most Goans arent aware of their historical roots. We are definitely an international race, with Mexican, (why chillies were first introduced to India), Africans from Mozambique and Angola, Chinese from Macau and if course Portuguese. This info is so important as there is much discrimination in Goa as in the world..history writers we now know have lied to us all. Ps we do have one of the most amazing cuisine in the world lol!

The word Vindaloo comes from Portuguese language, which is Vind + alho means Vinegar and Garlic.

8:05 me being a Hindu Goan I disagree. They do use ginger garlic but they do no use Vinegar.
The origin of the name/dish is Portuguese and is written = Vinha d'Alhos. The name used in Goa is Pork Vindalho and not Vindaloo.
