One of my favorite hidden details in ACNH is that, within the fossil section of the museum, the lines on the floor follow the evolutionary tree of life.
I actually noticed that. And they are 2 different charcters also. How can you tell. Gulliver has stars in his eyes and gulivarrr has an x. I'm pretty sure. Now I wonder if they know each other. Are they on the same ship? Are they family related?
At first I thought Gulavarrr was just Gulliver in a pirate costume since i first encountered Gulavarr on October 31 i was confused when he showed up again in early November
Yeah she mentioned it. Wilbur talks in the finetic (i think thats how you spell it) alphabet. So things like "now" are spelled "November Oscar Whisker"
Here’s one I noticed: I had the retro fan spinning in my house, and when it was aimed at some flowers they actually blew, and stopped when it passed by!
Also, something I keep noticing is that sometimes villagers will say something and in their animalieese you can hear the sound of the word or phrase being said, idk I just found that really cute
You can also costumize the mom's penstand, the fish doorplate and fish-drying rack. Things i wish i knew before spending nmts to buy the different variants on nookazon.
I found out loads of furniture I have was customisable by looking through my catalogue at Harv's Island. Anything that can be customised has a little paintbrush icon :)
When Isabelle tilts her head at the end of the morning announcements (if she does that day), you can actually hear a tiny jingle. Edit: I just discovered that cuckoo clocks, when placed in your house, actually pop out and make noise at the start of every hour. It gave me a jump. XD
I'm sure everyone knows this one by now, but I find it kind of neat that when a villager moves out, they leave at least 2 random belongings from their house behind in the recycle box. What's interesting about that? They're NOT limited to just reorderables. It can be ANYTHING (Even DIY items or rare unorderables)! Ex. When Gloria moved out of my island, She actually left behind a cafe curtain wall which was her personal wallpaper (Normally that's a Saharah exclusive).
Poppy moved out a week ago and she left wallpaper and a cycling shirt Goose gave her (they had an argument). I gave the shirt to Goose but he doesn't seem to remember that it was Poppy's shirt (he wears it pretty often though)
My mom was hitting the money rock and she heard the 1up effect from Mario and she said "Ano ito Mario?" Which translates to Is this Mario? So my mom actually noticed! ;D
another fun fact: the superhero villagers' footprints sound like they're wearing shoes! & aw the flora fact made me sad, i have her on my island & she's one of my favourites, guess i gotta visit her more
As a gamer/artist I LOVE when game developers add little details. It's just so cool that they added that much creativity into a game just for these small little things
This game is so beautiful, and there are so many teeny-tiny details to uncover. My favourite little detail I’ve found was that, when my character first spoke to Gulivarr, they think that it’s Gulliver, and is labelled as so in his dialog, until he introduces himself.
Yep. However if they move to another island, they get their "real house" again. So if you have a starter villager and want their real house, youcan let them move out, have a friend pick them up, and finally move them back the same way. We successfully did this with my gf's Sherb with amiibos and some time traveling.
I also noticed that when you dig the holes in different areas, the haptics are stronger when its in the dark dirt compared to grass and even less in sand.
My favorite detail is how correct the science is for the fish and sea creatures. I have PhD in Oceanography, and other than one or two localization errors (I assume) everything Blathers says about them is correct. I can't speak to the accuracy of the insects and fossils but I see no reason why they'd make an effort on one thing and not the others. It's extremely impressive.
another little thing, the door bells on the houses change too, if they are barn animals like goats or cows you get a cow bell for when you open and close their door
Hi Krisselia! So, I don't know if you noticed this but depending on what you are using to play music in Animal Crossing, the sound of the song will kind of change. For example, playing music on the DJ's Turntable allows you to hear more bass than the Portable Record Player. This is more noticable when you are on the song menu.
Small detail: on the black loading screen, the little island in the corner changes with the seasons too! In the summer it was green land and now in the autumn it’s brown land!
Detail I noticed: when you pull on the dog chain attached to the dog house a growl is heard and red eyes appear in it. Can you research what the purpose of villagers browsing Nooks Cranny comment on items when you approach them and then they have a thought bubble soon after, are we suppose to buy the item for them? It's stumped me. I like your videos too.
Villagers have different voices depending on what species they are. For example, Rasher, who is a cranky, has a deep voice, while Curt, who is also a cranky, has a deeper voice than most crankies. Also, when you move a villagers house while they’re asleep, they’ll wear their pyjamas, which is just straight up adorable 😊! And fish/sea creatures also sometimes do stuff when you turn the light on in their tank. Like mantis shrimp will break their glass if you turn on the light, while the pufferfish will puff up for a while.
I saw the bug fight club for the first time yesterday! I was so taken aback wondering why the bugs were fighting for territory. Maybe this is why Blathers is scared of them :D
I also found some details too! If u see the able sisters shop front window the display outfit changes like the big windo wen u go in the shop! :0 love ur vids krissela!! 💗💖
This is probably super famous and easy to spot, but when Tom Nook or Orville are drinking coffee, if you talk to them, they stuff it in their pocket. :P
I found a small detail, when you get stung by wasps and your wearing a mask that covers you entire face(like a fox mask) the villagers wont know that you got stung by wasps and they just have a normal conversation with you.
A smol detail I enjoy - when my villager gives me an item, and I gift it right back to them, they say "this looks so familiar..." or something like that 😅
Don't know if other people know this, but the chimes that play when you open the door to a building, and the bells that ring when the hour changes are actually your island tune, just at different speeds
Another small thing is that villagers sometimes stare at you without turning their heads while you're in their house. Like they're keeping an eye on you.
Cute little small detail: if you move a tricycle or bicycle (I believe I haven’t checked it out), the little petals will move. I figured this out when I was placing down the tricycle in front of Mathilda’s home (sense she has a kid n her house has little toys everywhere so it fit her theme). Its super cute
I noticed that the speed of the rotation of blades of the wind turbine you get from the Nook Miles Exchange Program actually depends on how windy your island is on that day!
What I think is adorable about Wilbur is that he also names your town after the native fruit. When you want to go back there he talks about "Peartown" in my game and pears are my native fruit. I love those little details. I have the Amiibo of Del so I totally need to test that metal sound thing even though I always thought he was made of plastic XD
Another one is if a sea creature is usually still irl the bubbles before catching, so for example the anenamy there is a strait line of bubbles, but a sweet shrimp will make two rows of bubbles taking turns rising
The tourney outfits aren't specific to those events. The shirts are the track suits they wear when exercising, and the hats are what they sometimes wear in the rain (if they don't pull out their umbrella).
Hello, Krisselia. I've seen that my child has been watching you every time you upload something new. I thought that there wasn't anything good until I actually saw myself. My child has been watching you every time they're bored as well. I would bring it up to them just so that I wouldn't have to go somewhere with them, when I watched you, I was very surprised. This even encouraged my child to want a switch and play Animal Crossing New Horizons, he plays it everyday and dreams for you to visit his "4" star island, I even started to play myself, I felt it great. This affected my child not wanting to go outside during quarantine. And all I can do is to thank you for helping me and my family being quarantined safely, I hope you also see this s well since it was a great affect for us, but even if my child can't get Nintendo Online or whatever that is, I hope you have a great day! All regards, Cameron Vega.
One small detail is that wheeled furniture like the office chair will.make different sounds on different flooring. Additionally, I'm not sure if this is true because In only caught the tail end once and it.might've been coincidental but, I think the fountain sprays higher at the top.of every hour, while the Resident Services bell is going off.
Would love to see a myth buster episode like if carrying a villager's home kit would prevent them from moving or planting more than 10k and recieve the plants amount is possible on "lucky" days
Here's a neat little detail: although there are no cables for your in-game televisions, the one I have actually has ports for cables. Additionally, the in-game Switches have the Nintendo logo (visible on the backside just like a real Switch console), and the USB ports on the side.
I have Flora on my island and I noticed that she didn’t actually have any flamingo statues in her house so I just ordered 3 flamingo statues for her. :)
No only does pushing things with wheels make the wheels move but pushing or just holding onto the street organ makes it work. Its my favourite item in the game.
FYI, if you leave a bridge or incline in pre-construction for more than a day, someone will have donated some bells. In my case, it was about 800 bells.
My sister pointed out a little thing that I missed. If you have a raccoon (tanuki) statue and press A to interact with it it makes a sort of, hollow drumming noise (and as far as I can tell press A with other objects-even ones that don't do anything-does not produce this sound). This is, I suspect, a reference to how Tanuki in folklore drum on their bellies, producing a 'pom poko' sound (and the noise made by the statue sounds kinda like 'pom').
A little detail too: when the game loads there’s the little island in the bottom right corner and every now and then a little fish jumps out of the water and back again!!
Can confirm that Ribbot does make the same noises, I have both him and Sprocket. Best way to find out is to take them to Harveys island and hold them in the air, they make clanking noises there too.
Del makes slitly different sounds from the ostrich robot, on harv's island when taking photos if you pick him up and place him down he makes metal sounds :]
The moon thing is still 2 days off. However, another fun little detail: The moon cycle is also the same in Wild Worlds. Still 2 days off, but it follows the real life moon cycle. And idk if this is everywhere, but at least in the nothern parts, you can sometimes catch the nothern lights
You are probably already aware of this but if you have a fountain on your island when the clock chimes at the resident services the water spray changes on the fountain until the clock stops and then returns to normal. As I’m new to the game when I noticed it I thought it was a nice touch.
I know this video is a little bit old but I think I found a little theory! Blathers might run the nook stop. Think about it, on your birthday he sends a letter titled “esteemed _____( player name )” that’s also how nook mileage program opens its letters to the player. I don’t know if that sounds dumb but I just thought of it so yeah
Oh wow, Flora's house in my town looks WAY different. The game happened to pick her on my first week of build quests, so she's got wooden floors and a bunk bed and stuff.
Everybody probably already knows this, but I only just realized yesterday that you can interact with the dog kennel! When you stand in front and press a it growls and red eyes briefly light up inside. Very festive for the spooky season!!
When I saw Tom Nook Alone in the Resident Services I kinda felt bad that he was not having fun like everyone else, so I spent one too many of bells to get a balloon from Redd and managed to put it in the "lost found box" that's in the resident services. The balloon is still in that box to this day.
I don’t know if you mentioned this in a previous video, but when you cast your bobber into a waterfall the switch will vibrate as it gets spit back out.
One of my favorite hidden details in ACNH is that, within the fossil section of the museum, the lines on the floor follow the evolutionary tree of life.
There’s a missing spot next to the monkey. If you stand in it, a spotlight will turn on above you.
I saw that too!
And if u stand on this like circle it moves ur camera and showes a meteor!
Random small thing: the exercise ball bounces less on sand than it does on hard floor and the beach ball bounces higher on sand
:0
That is a cool detail i mean really

Kristen: “I have a soft spot for Gertie”
Me: *Gets slightly terrified*
