Slideshot/Opening Shot was the roll I wanted but when I got a 5/5 with Slideshot/Explosive I gave up. That's as good as it was ever gonna get especially with how messed up rng in Destiny is.
My slide explosive roll is so damn close to 5/5. The grip is the stupid combat grip that increases recoil direction which is totallly useless on the rose. It has 70 range though. So i guess it is 5/5, but not 6/6.
Ngl I feel him on Lunas howl just feeling special. I have an EOS/OS roll I literally cannot miss with if I tried. But mostly been using a slide/mag roll. Went back to rose because I got a new slide/EOS roll and felt like I had to get used to the kick again 😂 granted it does have 14 less stability but still
I got accurized slide shot vorpal range masterwork 😭 I ended up with 78 range and 65 handling but I didn’t get opening or explosive payload in the 4th slot unfortunately
Slideshot/Opening Shot are both counterintuitive perks, because they do the same thing (boost the range of your FIRST shot) and it usually nets you with diminishing returns for the range boost. Slideshot w/ EOS is the GR imo
the rose god roll is def better than lunas if you get perpetual and opening then you won't have to worry about handling or anything so you can just try and get the max range it can
You should try autringer again man, with zen moment and eye of the storm, fullbore, ricochet and stability - after the zen changes it feels amazing, better than any other hc I've got this season, it's easier to land shots when you've got bullets pinging off your head than when you're shooting an AFK 😂
I tried this. And I wanted to like the gun so bad over the rose. Maybe it’s the gun model and no ornament or the handling maybe. But I just kept going back to my rose. And it’s not even a god roll its small/acc/ perp/explosive/ friggin reload MW
@@jpmorgan6146 maybe it's the aim assist? I have been running triple targeting mods and targeting adjuster on the Austringer since it has less than some other 140s. I felt the same about Rose and I do like it I just seem to get flinched off hitting shots more often with it.
@@jpmorgan6146 Give it a try with 3x targeting and targeting adjuster I know it's a bit off meta to stack them all but I always think aim assistance makes a huge difference to how a gun feels
I finally got the ROLL on 9/21/24...Slideshot / Opening Shot / 63 Range / 53 Stability / 62 Handling. I willing to sacrifice some range for more STABILITY.
What's funny Gold, is I've not touched comp either lol. Can't stand the gamemodes and the lobby balancing as a solo. Cause I'd say I'm good, but I'm not carrying my team every single game good like bungie seems to think I am...
I'll stick to my perpetual motion and opening shot roll. I hate slideshot cause I don't like how conditional it is. Yeah I slide around most of the time but I don't like the restraint of having it be one bullet for 2 seconds while I can have much more consistency with 2 perks that can be active pretty much in every engagement without having to be doing a specific thing.
Not wrong but it makes hand cannons amazing dueling weapons it re procs opening shot so pop a shot and swing with a slide and you're right it is conditional but those perks together might be the best combo for aggressive gaming

@yannicschulz6934 I just use slideshot as the +20 range instead of os and then eots helps keep the headshots going while getting flinched. Opening shot is great too I just prefer the extra help when exchanging shots.

Might????? Rose is hand cannon #1 hands down. That 40 handling kills Luna's for me. And lightweight frame is simply addictive.
Always found it neat how you flick your camera around so quickly and fidgety yet you still hit all of your shots, it’s hella impressive man!

Well opening shot also gives accuracy which is the bigger selling point imo. Makes the follow up shots basically have no bloom
