Mina "Margery" Crandon was a psychical medium. Investigators studied her intensely. She became more well known when her alleged paranormal skills were touted by Sherlock Holmes' author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Her methods and results were said to have been disproved by magician Harry Houdini, under an investigation in a contest sponsored by members of the American Society for Psychical Research and employees of the Scientific American.

I'm not sure about this fact but I believe I read that when Houdini's mother passed he indeed was involved w a spritalist. When he found out . He vowed to expose all of them.

I am going to definitely look her up on the maps I have from Forest Hills , I am going there in November to meet up with 6 of my relatives from New England, I live in NJ, I have over42 relatives buried there, they were from Jamaica Plains/Boston area. If I remember Houdini was a magician first so he would know the trickery. The thumbprint is funny because spirits wouldn’t have them🤷🏻‍♀️ Great story as usual and thank you for making them realistic today.
