My best fishing experience of 2024 was probably today. Last night I worked 10 hours and got 2 hours of sleep and got up at 4am to be on the river at daylight. Me and my buddies fished 17 miles in 13.5 hours on kayaks and I caught 82inches of smallmouth for my best 5. I also had probably a 30 inch drum on a crankbait that I fought for about a minute before it shook the hook. All in all a great day on the river with some great friends! Enjoyed the video man had me jealous I couldn’t get a topwater bite to save my life lol
The coolest fishing trip I've had this year was when I was bobber and minnow fishing for crappies and caught the same 5lb largie twice on the same day 😅
MN kayak fisher here and just found your channel!!! I am not new to fishing, but have spent a majority of my adulthood in the fast life riding motorcycles… Been putting that on hold and have been taking the water by storm vs the pavement! I have been loving the peace and quiet! Like I said, I am not new to fishing, but I am new to using a kayaking and I looooove it! Best fishing memory was when I was a kid my family and I went fishing off of St. Croix River. We only fished as a family that one time and it really stuck with me since we didn’t do much as a family growing up and weren’t very close. Due to that wonderful memory, as a young adult I’d buy Fishing Minnesota magazines and was learning to tie knots while the girls my age were buying Teen magazine. Today, I am a solo kayaker who just started expanding into more than just pan fishing and have been getting into top water lures recently due to the areas I fish which have thicker vegetation and I am targeting bass now! 😊 I bought a couple of chatter baits to try and bought some things for Texas rigging and I have one top water popper, but haven’t explored much into the top water baits yet!! Excited to try more top water lures and see what works best especially after seeing some of your videos! Thanks for the relaxing vibes which is something I’ve been seeking much more of lately as I get older! So much peace when it comes to fishing and I have that one really good family memory that I’ve held on to for over two decades from when I was a teen!
Fun outing! Appreciate the "never know til you try" side adventure up that small creek outflow. Many places I fish have similar setups, and its surprising how often I can sneak in there, and find some quality fish, even when the water is occasionally only a foot deep or less during low water conditions. 🙂
Best experience this year was fishing a small secluded portage bass lake up in Ontario last month. Probably caught between 40-50 fish that day just myself. Nothing better than small mouth top water action
So far this year best day is a toss up. Slamming big Northern Pike on Chatter Baits or sitting in the shade under a bridge catching Crappie. Most would pick a big Pike day but I am not a great Crappie fisherman so finding them catching them one after another was a great day!
My favorite moment thus far this year in fishing is connecting with my 13 year old son. We go fishing 3-4 times a week and he loves every minute of it. Unfortunately we do not have the funds to obtain lures like this and I don't want him to become discouraged or uninterested in the sport. I was a police officer for 10 years in Colorado and missed so much time with him doing father son trips. I was forced into medical retirement, which means that I'm not pulling in what I used to (50% pay) pushing a black and white, so we try to make due with what we have. Anyways, thank you for the great content as usual and hopefully someone who truly deserves this giveaway gets this awesome top water lure!
Awesome day fishing you guys had! Just took a trip to Montana a few weeks ago to visit family and did a ton of fishing. Caught quite a bit of small mouth (tiny ones) and also a handful of pike that we processed and ate for dinner our last night there. Best part about it was my wife caught her first pike and it was the biggest one! It’s always a great time going to Montana.
My top so far this year was catching a nice pike and giving it to the little old ladies on the dock I caught it off of at the ramp. They were so tickled to take it home for supper.
My dad took me and my older brother out on Michigan trolling for salmon and I caught a 18 lb and 28 lb King Salmon which it took me and my dad a total of about 30 minutes to bring in. It will definitely one of the best fishing experiences I've had in my life!
I was with my brother and I gave up on the wacky worm and next thing I know he catches a 4 pounder next cast with a wacky worm in the same exact spot I was in for 5 minutes 😂 I’ve watched a few of your videos and your videos are truly amazing! Definitely worth a subscription .
Great video man I enjoyed it. My best fishing experience of the year was the day I made my first TH-cam video it was a perfect calm lake morning and I caught 3 monster smallies.. only bad part was my go pro only got 36 mins of footage and I dropped my pb out of the kayak lol… it made a funny clip for TikTok tho
Awesome video, love the Bible verses at the beginning of your videos. None would be possible without the man upstairs. I caught my pb spotted bass in north Georgia 6.24 lbs on ultra light with micro tackle bluegill fishing. Love the sport and would love to try that lure. Thanks
Took my sister in law for her annual musky hunt in eastern Ontario last week. She caught a 28” and a 36” on lighter tackle while I got nothing on my musky stuff 😂. Love your videos man!
Dang, homeboy got beef with Wabasha huh? Lol My fav story from this year is having a bad day fishing. Everything seemed to go terrible. Had a husky boi on and it jumped off. Tangled my line and broke my last two eyelets off my rod. I left the lake defeated. I didn’t even want to fesh the next day but I had to redeem myself. Went back, same lure, same rod, under the same tree! Caught my personal best (having a scale with) @3.04lbs!!
Ayy one of my favorite style lures I’ve been trying to Design my own outta wood but it hasn’t worked out yet!!!. Hopefully God bless me up with a design. N id have to say my best finish experience of 2024 would have to be when me n my brother hit a couple little creek n wade a few miles caught a couple nice smallies n missed a few, the best part would have to be be whip outs because of the no tread grocs but I think hands down any smallie chase this year was amazing from watching a buddy catch his pb go missing a couple that were probably mine 😂
Tryna win that lure again 😂 but my best experience so far this year was fishing a shallow patch of reeds with a chatterbait and catching two walleyes and two pike that were both 33+ inches.
I love the vids man, I've been pike fishing a couple of times, but i don't know the proper way to hold on to a larger pike, I noticed you grab em in their gills, is there anything else to that technique?
One day as my friend pulled in a fat rainbow we see that it is still attached to someone else’s rod. It must’ve jerked it out of someone else’s hand. When we got back to our cabin a kid about 10 next to our cabin told us of the one that got away. After he described his fishing rod we restrung it and gave it back to him. Of all the people on the lake, the rod belonged to the kid next to us. also i’m from mn tooo!
Pinch your barbs, buddy! I always fish barbless hooks. It's way better for the fish, if you're letter it go and you hook it in a 'less desirable' location like the eye, gill rakes or anywhere else.
So I went to Ethiopia for 2weeks just came back and I cought a nice 4lb flathead Invassive catfish but the line broke on me right after I got him out the water
Hello brother fisherman I am a 6:05 very ill person I would love to go out with you fishing it would be awesome to get to meet you I’ve watched your videos for a long time now and I have cancer but anyway god bless you and your family and god bless you when you are on the boat or at a dam or river bank fishing keep up the videos
Most relaxed TH-camr ever and I love it😂
Real
Like NDYAK, the Bob Ross of fishing!!!!

Dude your voice is actually perfect. No doubt about it, You have the best voice in the world ❤❤❤
Emma is really progressing as an angler nice to see her putting fish in the boat
She sure is!

I LOVE fishing crappie! I find them more interesting to catch and they tasty little guys!!
Best is coming. Fishing this week with my grown daughters. Should be awesome even if the fish don’t show up.🙂🙂🙂
I finally caught my first fish on a frog this weekend . In a kayak too . What a blast on top water.

Sometimes the musky just want the smaller stuff haha, they can be so picky. Sounds like a fun trip
Best trip by far was 8/3/24. My son hooked, played and landed by hand his PB bass of 2.2 lbs.
Those lures are sick
Dang, homeboy got beef with Wabasha huh? Lol

Fished for over 10 hours this weekend from saterday to sunday in northern idaho caught over 70 smallmouth there always fun
Nice video good size fish your catching
Best fishing of the year is of the the first times I went out and caught 2 largemouth. 1 - 5.5 lbs and 1- 3.5 lbs.
So i was in Massachusetts fishing a lake on a paddleboard. After fishing for around 7 hrs i get a huge bite and it turns out being my pb.
That sounds amazing, I’ve always wanted to land a giant on the paddle
@@NASPELTZ yeah
a good day every day
Nice video 👍
Thanks :)

I love fishing 🎣
Me too!

Lake Pepin. Nice area
You look like Stuart Skinner. He's the goalie for the Edmonton Oilers
Tryna win that lure again 😂 but my best experience so far this year was fishing a shallow patch of reeds with a chatterbait and catching two walleyes and two pike that were both 33+ inches.
I’ll fall asleep to this
My best experience was in with my dad at are lake house and we 30 to 40 fish on just 3 hours
Never seen a more beautiful mustache
My brain seeing a topwater blow up: 🤯
I caught a 4 lber under that bridge a few weeks ago
That is amazing, congrats
I love the vids man, I've been pike fishing a couple of times, but i don't know the proper way to hold on to a larger pike, I noticed you grab em in their gills, is there anything else to that technique?
What rod are you using to throw the pompadour?
One day as my friend pulled in a fat rainbow we see that it is still attached to someone else’s rod. It must’ve jerked it out of someone else’s hand. That is such a cool and heartwarming story, what are the chances of that. I’m sure the kid was super happy to get his rod back!
Oh! No slime net!
Love the Bible verses, so good. What does NASPELTZ mean?
Over 1 pound man!
Would you ever consider coming to Colorado?
😊😊😊😊😊
Pinch your barbs, buddy! I always fish barbless hooks. It's way better for the fish, if you're letter it go and you hook it in a 'less desirable' location like the eye, gill rakes or anywhere else.
Nice video, I’m assuming that’s Lake Peppin?
Also is there a lot of current there right now? (So I can kayak?)
Its going to be at least a 3-5 mile paddle from the nearest launch
And yes there is current, send me a dm on insta I’ll show ya some good yak spots on the river
@@NASPELTZ okay, messaged
Hey, do you mind telling me what that topwater is called?
Are y ou feeling OK? What is with the net dued,
What?
I really love it man! See" I'm not gay" here is my girlfriend! Priceless!
So I went to Ethiopia for 2weeks just came back and I cought a nice 4lb flathead Invassive catfish but the line broke on me right after I got him out the water
I was thinking about buying the pompadour, but I saw the price, is it really worth it?
❤️🎣
Dude is never phased by anything ever. Some call him the chilled dude in America.
