Good tips, Ethan. I started collecting over 50 years ago with an album, sheets of plastic coin holders and a magnifying glass 😀 Still use the albums for choice, but my favourites are displayed in capsules I used to use Krause & Krause catalogues as they mentioned all territories and states in each country Brilliant books they were
Great list , great video, and great prompt - I may need to buy a lightbox and certainly need some scales. If only I could get spare lids for my coin trays ! I have a copy of the 2019 Coin Year Book (for the info rather than the values) which I often refer to. Having re-started collecting and finding that up to date reference books are difficult to track down (my M. Freeman is from 1985 so almost 40 years old !), for my own reference I am pulling together pictures and descriptions of all Bronze varieties I can find from 1838 onwards in excel. Many thanks again !
I love this type of video I do agree that the coin book is the most important unfortunately mine is a bit broken as I spilt water on it but I do pretty much completely agree with your rankings keep up the good work
Great video and good tips. One other “accessory” is a record of your collection, a data base. Unfortunately there are no really good apps for Uk coins so you could make do with a spreadsheet in which you can record details of a coin such as when you bought it, from whom, price etc. and as you collection gets bigger it is very useful for keeping track and not buying duplicates by accident!
Nice sneaky peak of your perfect coins. T.S.C will be very jealous. 👍🏴

I use a Microsoft spreadsheet
Great videos one question what do you store your felt trays in are they just stacked on each other or in a shelved unit
Stacked in a box
@@BitsAndBobsCoins ok I’ve been looking at the safe album cases where you can store 15 trays but works out expensive
Yah koi mere pass hai Yash kimat kya hai
How much are penny's and half pennies worth
Is sixpence worth £1 85 you. Said
Depends on the date
Why what dates are they priced for.
