This is guy sounds like a quintessential southern gentleman…without the confederate flag. I love the fact that he gives little zings that he gives the attorneys.
Barnes sounds like what he is now a southern gentleman country lawyer

Why is the judge allowing the attorneys to waste the courts time on the past Governor's career?
Because he’s up for re-election. Not rockin’ the boat.
It’s proper lawyering to establish the credibility of the witness. And in this context, it clearly establishes DA Fani Willis vetted other candidates before choosing wade.. the governor’s career as a lawyer and govt official shows that she was looking for the most qualified person she could and wasn’t biased in ultimately choosing wade 🤷♀️🤷♂️
#Fact.....But one siders one want to create a negative narrative. It disrespectful and unfair to watch DA Fanni Willis' name through the the mud

Good testimony. He smoothly cut with truth and admiration.

@@anthonybrannon2611 no one is above the law and fanni and nathan wade got exposed
Fani and Wade are corrupt and they violated the law.
I agree, the ambulance chasers have brought nothing to this trial. It's just a typical way to delay the inevitable trial that could lock Trump up for the rest of his life.
He said later that he was interviewed by willis ( Wade was there), October 26,2021. Wade was appointed on November 1, 2021. Wade was an employee on October 26, 2021? Sitting in on the meeting/ interview with Willis?
What were they hoping by bringing him to the stand? If anything he hurt them by saying he is qualified.
It is very obvious that Attorney Wade is well qualified according to the governor, who initially turned down the job as lead prosecutor before Wade took the job...
@@etruscancivilization Agree. It is also a subtle remark he made you know Mr. Wade, like you know what he's about. A slight condemnation of his co-workers attacking him. After this, that office is going to be a tough place to work.

It’s amazing how different the lawyers treated Mr Barnes as opposed to how they treated FW, NW and FW’s father! It’s definitely a fishing expedition, and public lynching! The trial judge should never have allowed this circus to take place!
My family is white and raised by parents who made it through the Great Depression and they thought us to keep cash on hand because you just never know about emergency reasons!!
We All stash cash. It is about not having a money trail
My father was an average hard working person. Afro-American. When he died in an accident we found $10,000 in our attic in a safe deposit box. Paper trail showed he had taken this money out years ago before his death. We also found other monies stashed around his home. This is how he was brought up. Not to keep away a paper trail, but to be ready in case of another crises in America.

What competent lawyer would call or question a witness who would disclose that were he to investigate his client he feared threats to his own life.
Using their rationale, Fani probably had designs on the Governor. Mr Wade was just the second choice.😂😅😂😅

I totally agree!

I live in a world of once you get paid, it’s your damn money!!!
Thats not the case at all here. He used his company credit card to pay for expenses. Fani paid him back in cash. His business account was never paid back. His wallet and his business are two different entities according to the IRS and that cash was never reported as extra income and the cash he took out of the account to pay for the expenses was never paid back. That is embezzlement but here they are after bigger fish so I think nothing will become of it.

Good to see Roy Barnes Definitely fair firm and consistent
I look at it a bit differently. I look at an older white man who is sitting in a room full of political activist diversity hires discussing him being a part of a case that by any legal definition would be a stretch to prove and him thinking I got to get out of this clown show.
And I probably should further point out that this is in late 2021. Covid mandates have lessoned across the US. But with that said, people weren't meeting face to face. So why did they meet in person and not use teleconference? I think the answer is simple. Nobody in that room wanted the meeting recorded.
So while you are thinking Roy Barnes is acting noble and stoic, question why he even met with them at all. Based on his testimony he could have told them no over the phone.
No, I suspect he was initially on board, saw the layout of the case, realized it was a sham at best, and bailed before the seat got warm.
