When you reset your password set passkey that way when you log in need to log in you'll require your passkey and it will no longer ask a verification code I just used this method to log in

yeah same for me i've been logged out that account for nearly a year and the region on it is messed up it will let you change the password but you can't get in unless you have the codes or contact playstation support

The passkey trick mentioned by @sunpraiser96 worked perfectly on mine. Major, if simple, save after losing access to my old phone and not having some of what support wanted to remove the 2-step verification.
The problem is I know my Passwort I know everything when I try to log in I need the code that comes to sms on smartphone and I have chanchged my number so I can’t get the code and I can’t deactivate the vf2 please help me with this

you can press forgot password they will end you a link in your email and once you click it they will redirect you to their website where u can put your new password
