I find it the smokey peaty whiskey ya drink when ya dont wanna drink to much...reminds me of hospital with smell of coaltar originals soap
Its one of the great things about whisky is how the different flavour notes you detect in it evoke smell memories from way back.
Solid review Keith! I really enjoyed this dram and got that wonderful juicy peach note which I find with Caol Ila but part of the joy is in the guessing. Cheers.
