@@freedom5032 seconded on why ....I've been using Arlo Pro 2 (wired) since 2019. No problems at all, but it is showing its age. I'm guessing the controversy is that some of Arlo's products are reaching EOL and also the possibility of losing the 7-day free cloud recording (no subscription needed).

my budget is low. I feel that I need a wired (for hacking defense) poe cat7 non subscription system.
I have old foxcon 18 port 1000Mbs switches, and ups battery backup systems. I would like AI tracking clear night vision dvr sys. I live in the country and losts of meth head thieves.
